Initially, it was difficult getting the job done by the contracting agent. However, the agent cleaned up as required and necessary.
Love the conscience of ordering & paying online. Contractors have been professional & do great job. Thanks!
Andrea B.
If I could give them a zero I would. These guys ban you from their site if you have a complaint about their contractors. They will even keep your money if a contractor refuses service. They arrive with tape a measure and look for strands of grass longer then 3 inches so they can demand more money for the job. They believe the customer is always wrong and if our service sucks deal with it shut up and take it or F-off is their modo.
Can't wait for the day to see their website is off because they have lost all their customers.
Stay away from these guys far far away. The complaints say it all and any positive feedback is obviously fake.
I was getting ready to leave town and I was having a hard time getting local mowers to return my calls. So I went online, found this service, and placed my order. I was so impressed with their immediate confirmation, I left town without worrying about my lawn. I thought, "This is the way to do it." A few days later, the mower showed up, did an excellent job and then sent me "before" and "after" pics of the lawn. Fun!
I will definitely use LawnMowingOnline again. They solved my problem in a blink, and I'm grateful for their business ethic. Keep up the great work!
I enjoyed the ease and professionalism of Lawnmowingonline.com so much that I use it for my mother and mother-in-law. The site is easy to navigate and they are quick to respond to my needs.
I used their services on a whim last year after my husband was hospitalized with pneumonia, have not stopped since... love these guys!
I submitted an order that was not accepted by a contractor. I cancelled the job and was charged a $15 fee. This fee would be appropriate if the job was accepted by a contractor, but is unfair if they couldn't even provide anyone to provide the service.
From Support FAQ on LawnMowingOnline:
24. I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $15 fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businesses. Doctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being provided. So we adopted the same polices that those businesses do. If a person schedules services and cancels within 2 business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $15 fee. The policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelled. Avoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within 2 business days of scheduling service. For example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (1 day) or May 3rd (2 days). The order can be cancelled on May 4th (3 days since May 1st) and there will be no fee. Of course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel.
To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in 2 places. It is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order.
This is cheaper and more reliable than... anything else.
The lawn mowing was somewhat uneven, but okay.
However, my previous experience was excellent.
My yard looks like it was done professionally. He took his time to ensure a job well done and was rewarded with an additional tip online after completing the work. I love that I order pick the date and can do it all online and pay through Paypal will definitely use this company again.
I like being able to call when I need the lawn mowed and not on a schedule. I ordered the mow for the following day and then learned it was going to rain. I requested that the order be changed to the same day I ordered and it was. The contractor came out and did a great job. Have used several times and have always been very pleased. Great Service.
The contractor came and mowed my lawn, taming the jungle and discovering a couple of hidden surprises I was unaware of. All I can say is thank you so much. The yard looked great and I was able to remove the obstacles.
I love being able to call when I need the yard mowed instead of having someone show up every week or two despite drought conditions. Though so far this year it hasn't stopped raining enough to have the yard mowed regularly. Feast or famine as the saying goes. Which brings me to the fact that no mowing is done if it has rained recently. Brilliant! Why? Because last year someone from a weekly service rutted my yard by mowing right after a heavy rain. Common sense is so appreciated.
They did a great job even with the bad conditions left by the rain and storm.
Being out of town a lot they save me from getting that dreaded hoa letter!
Thanks for your great service! They do awesome work!
I fell in love with this service. Yesterday everything looked great except one area by the house wasn't taken care of. It's confusing because it's next to a vacant lot, which I don't want them to mow. So I sent the 'problem' message for a first time. Seriously, not 10 minutes before an emailed response from the contractor. We cleared up the miscommunication and he came back out this morning to get that patch. There are always going to be occasional glitches in communication. It's the really great services that can offer excellence when things aren't going well, like what happened this morning. I'm probably now a customer for life.
A contractor did not accept the job for the 1st day posted with a $3 tip so I did as the company suggested and added another $10 tip on top of the $3 so willing to pay a total of $43 for a 1x mow which is way more than the going price around. It didn't get accepted again so I canceled explaining my order never was accepted by a contractor and I couldn't wait another day to see if it would get accepted and I wasn't willing to pay anymore than what I was already paying. They still charged me a $15 cancelation fee although I did what they suggested and my order was never accepted. Biggest waste of money and time!

Answer: Wow, guess I'm not needed, didn't know we had so many fans on here. Of course there's a few customers that have been ban from the website that are complaining but they're just mad we don't provide them service anymore because they're horrible people ;)
Answer: 3 days
Answer: All contractors are paid unless the customer says the contractor did not do the work and requests a refund. Contractors work for the customer not LawnMowingOnline.com. Message the customer and ask why they cancelled and requested a refund.
Answer: There are no cancellation fees.
Answer: It depends on what the customer ordered and the tip the customer left. Some contractors only take bidding jobs which can be any amount since customers can order any service now, not just lawn mowing.
Answer: LawnMowingOnline does not keep contractors or customers money. We respond to every email. There is no phone support. If you did not receive payment, it's because the customer said you did not do the work and requested a refund.
Answer: It depends on the property. The order page can give you a detailed price.

Customer's right, we don't tolerate customers that abuse the contractors. If you have grass over 24 inches and lie to the contractors and tell them it's 3 inches of grass then don't order from LawnMowingOnline because we don't want you as a customer. Just like we need honest contractors we also need honest customers that won't abuse our service. Every review on here is 100% real just like the thousands of reviews on our website, we don't need to make up fake reviews when we're mowing thousands of lawns a week.
