I placed an order... no one called or texted or email or showed up. I informed them via their web site and 8 days later they gave me a partial refund or $22.00 versus a full refund of $37.00. First why did I have to wait 8 days. I give dissatisfied customers a paypal refund within 24 hours. I have repeatedly requested my $15.00 and no one responds.
My yard was looking shabby due to constant rain. I found the site and booked a lawn cutting for next day on the night before. In the morning a contractor accepted the job.The father and son team came in the afternoon and did a fantastic job, mowing, trimming, blowing the yard and even picked up the grass from the lawn which could not be blown and put it in trash. They did a fantastic job with hot sun beating down on them. I will definitely use lawnmowingonline.com for all my yard work needs.
Unfortunately I had to reschedule my first appointment with the company and they were very kind and sweet about it. Never gave me a hassle. Simply made a new one and they were there on time, made my yard look specktackular and were sweet as ever! I really appreciate this service and I would be more than happy to use it again! They did a fantastic job.
LawnMowingOnline is easy to use and is great for people like me who don't need a long-term contract. We typically take care of our yard ourselves, but for times when we're busy, or on vacation, this is perfect. I highly recommend.
I can't believe I didn't know about this service before. I booked my lawn mowing service and didn't have to worry about a thing. I was out doing errands, and when I got home, he had already been there and left. We will definitely be using them again. You can't beat the price - even neighborhood kids want more than they charge!
I'm copying and pasting a review from below because I am in the exact same position. These people are scam artists. My yard size is 6555 sq. Ft. According to county records. They claimed it was too big and never mowed. It's been eight days and my money has not yet been refunded. Here's where it gets comical. When I filed for a refund, they emailed me back saying "You've been banned from the website. Why are you ordering?" If I've been banned, why are you taking my money? And why don't you send me a notification letting me know I've been banned.

You were ban for filing false negative reviews before. Of course you came back with a new account, new name, new everything to get around the ban and ordered again because even the customers that hate us keep ordering. Your order has been refunded and your NEW account has been ban again, never order again. And yes, we do get people that lie about their property size, Salim wasn't one of them, that contractor was removed from the website for trying to scam the customer. We get scammers on both sides, customers trying to save a few dollars by claiming their yard is smaller and contractors trying to say customers owe more when they don't. Scammers are removed from the website when they are found, but when you get thousands of orders a week there will always be a few scammers. CONTRACTORS: if the yard seems too big, go to the order page and put in the address and see what it says. If the yard is larger than what the customer ordered then contact support. CUSTOMERS: if the contractor says they want more for some reason, contact support, or file a dispute so the order can be reposted and the contractor will be removed from the website.
I love this service! I've used Lawnmowing Online for the past year or so and they've always done a great job and always shown up when they've said they would. And, it's affordable!

I have used the mowing service 4 times. Each time the contractor has done a wonderful job. I have no complaints and will continue to use the service.
The lawn care contractors always show on the day they're requested and do a fine job. I love the feature of ordering online at any time for when I need the lawn mowed and edged, and the emails keep me informed. I appreciate the ease of using this service! Just wish I'd found it sooner.
Ordered a lawnmowing job on line in May 2015 and paid $49 thru PayPal. Contractor visited yard, took pictures of the uncut grass and said the yard was larger than what what I put on the website and he needed more money. He did not mow the yard. After contacting contractor with evidence that the yard was within the size listed he apologized and acknowledged his error. However he never returned to mow the yard but posted the pictures of the unmowed lawn to the website and said the job was completed. Lawnmowing online paid the guy in spite of my notifying then there was a problem with the contractor and asking them to do not pay. They refused to give me any consideration believing the contractor dispite evidence to the contrary. They refused to consider any refund saying PayPal doesn't cover services. I got no help from PayPal. DON'T USE THESE GUYS AND DON'T USE PAYPAL TO PAY THEM.
Customer clicked "Yes I am satisfied the order was finished, I will not request a refund, please pay the contractor" so the contractor was paid. Customer never contacted support, never requested a refund or cancellation. When the customer says the order is finished then the order is finished so we release payment to the contractor. After the contractor was paid the customer came back and said "OOPS I accidentally said they were finished". Huh? Sorry by that time it's too late, you can't say they're finished, please release payment, we release payment and then you say oops. Customer then tried to go to Paypal. We sent all the evidence to Paypal and Paypal said customer was trying to scam the website so the customer did not get their money back.
It's a great concept, and it works! We have a fairly large size lawn and traditional contractors would easily charge twice as much (all for the wrong reasons... travel time, gas, peak period etc). Free market efficiencies at their best.
Very convenient and easy. The guys who came out did a great job. I recommend them to anyone, regular or sporadic maintenance.

Have used Lawn mowing on line consistently over the past two summers as my husband and I have unpredictable work schedules and need to make sure this regular chore gets done. Service is always fast and reliable.
This is not a bargain! Contractors request more and more tips to accept the job. You have to sit by the computer waiting for someone to accept. I got put off until I paid enough. I cancelled my last request and they came anyway. The mowers are barely adequate and not professional. A small child could do as well as they do.My third experience will be my last! My lawn was mowed WAY TOO LOW.! Down to the dirt! I hope it survives. These contractors are NOT professional. If this is what they do for a living they should know better and be able to care for a lawn properly! NOT KILL IT! I will NOT use them again and NEVER recommend them to anyone except my worse enemy. HAHA
In some areas $19 is not enough to have a property mowed. Rather than trying to determine what areas are more expensive we have allowed customers to decide. Customers can add a tip now on the order page or after the order is placed. Multiple tips can also be added then if the customer feels it is needed. This customer did not cancel and still has not cancelled their order despite being sent several emails explaining how to cancel and even after a contractor accepted the order the customer still did not login and tell the contractor not to mow or that they wanted to cancel.

24. I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $15 fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businesses. Doctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being provided. So we adopted the same polices that those businesses do. If a person schedules services and cancels within 2 business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $15 fee. The policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelled. Avoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within 2 business days of scheduling service. For example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (1 day) or May 3rd (2 days). The order can be cancelled on May 4th (3 days since May 1st) and there will be no fee. Of course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel.
To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in 2 places. It is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order.
