First, he price is high. Roughly $30 bucks a month with no app and a buggy mobile site. Secondly and probably the most important, so many FAKES! I suppose the first clue is the professionally taken modeling photos. Another clue, I'm a descent looking guy, but I wake up to having 20 + whatsapp numbers in my box without saying writing them or initiating any contact. If i return interest with an message, there's no response to my messages, theres an immedite response with a whatsapp number/cam link/ google chat/etc. Ive responded to 2 messages, one was talking about her need for support with a half day, another wanted to come over my house (I was staying in San Crisobal) immediately for a great deal. Another clue, 50% of the attention I get comes from Venezuela. I haven't even gone down that path because of travel restrictions/danger. All of that said, there are a couple of real users. They just get drowned out by all the fakes and schemers. I wont be finishing the month and suggest you never start it.

I joined for one month. Set up my profile, added photos and paid for one month. I made sure the auto renewal box was not activated. Had a great time and was able to trade contact info with the girls. One month expired and in comes a receipt for another month paid! I was livid and demanded my money back. With several emails written, they refused to refund the money. Do not use this site. Instead, go to where they are. The cost of living is cheap and the girls are beautiful. Eye contact makes a difference. Being there makes a difference. Met several girls each time I went. I had no problems and I am 62 years old, dancing and dining with 20 and 30 somethings! Columbia is not too safe right now so consider Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina. The Argentinian women are friendly and beautiful. These sites are not trust worthy. Just go there, you'll have no problems.

They have communication features that are nice but 100% used by scammers. I was removed from the site because I reported one of their girls to the usa immigration. She used the story that she can get a visa. Showed passport, visa, plane tickets. I blew anlot helping her and she never showed up. It was all fake documents. She photoshopped everything. Daniela ID *******. They did not remove or block her. She was back on line looking for her next victim. Put her ID into the system and watch her profile still pull out. She is the highest level scammer I have ever seen. I never seen a girl who would produce fake government documents but she did. It's good the website removed me. Thanks. Look at how she reversed the issue date and expire dates with her photoshopped visa. Wow that game to photoshop government documents

Like every dating site you must watch out for phony profiles or fake model pics that ultimately direct you to escort services.
That being said many Latin women on this site are real women seeking a better life. Be careful what you look for and be selective. Use WhatsApp sparingly.
I have met a few women from this site. A couple of locals who did not impress me. And one Colombian bombshell who was visiting friends close by so I was able to meet her and hang out 3 days. And yes the sex was great. A rare event however.
Mexican, Brazilian, Colombian women do seem to hate their own mankind. Venezuelan women cannot leave their country right now so be careful.

All in all not a rip-off like so many others.

Due to a serious security breach on LatinAmericanCupid, a scammer somehow managed to set up a fake profile using MY email address without my consent or knowledge. Naturally, I was surprised when I received a registration confirmation from LatinAmericanCupid, since I had never signed up for an account myself. The email I received was not a verification link, but a confirmation that a (fake) profile had already been set up using my email address! Clearly, the website allows scammers to register without verification, thereby allowing them to use email addresses other than their own. I contacted LatinAmericanCupid as well as CupidMedia via email and via their online help, asking them to remove the fake account that is fraudulently using my email address, but I received no response from them despite multiple emails and help requests. Their customer service completely ignored my emails, which gave the impression that they support the establishment of fake profiles on their website. Absolutely horrible experience, both with their alarming security breach, and their indifferent customer service! BEWARE!

Fortunately I never got to the stage where I was physically scammed.
Though I did realise that the site is a complete scam very early on.
I hadn't even put a photo on my profile nor even filled anything in yet I was suddenly bombarded with likes and messages from a whole bunch of 'women' from age 20-45. Suspiciously none of these 'women' had even looked at my profile and not so strangely the website wanted me to pay a ridiculous subscription to view all my likes and messages.
Obviously, this is not how online dating (or real life) works. It's rare that any women anywhere make the first move on a guy (online or not) and they certainly do not contact empty profiles. It's just one big scam to get desperate men to pay money.
Don't do it. If you want to meet women you're much better off joining some kind of activity group. If you want to meet women from a certain country then just go and take a holiday in that country taking note of all the info out there about possible prostitutes and other scams.

Furthermore the website doesn't allow you to delete your profile only to 'turn it off', which means all your profile data is still there. God knows what they are doing with it, they are possibly even selling it on to other places without your knowledge or consent.

I've used a few cupid sites over the last few years. While I can assure you that I have chatted with many real women, I have sadly encountered a far greater number of scammers and fakes. This likely partly due to my age and looks. Though I am healthy, fit, solvent (which I don't advertise) and intelligent. The cupid site does make a half hearted attempt to remove the more obvious scammers. But they require a lot of proof, which means I can rarely get a scammer booted unless they are particularly stupid. I have stopped reporting them as it will eat a good hour of my time and generally fails to work anyway. This is why there are so many. New free profiles can be set up in a tiny fraction of the time it takes a particularly irked person to have one removed. Read the comments above about spotting the fakes.

Latinamericancupid has been a technical disaster. First off, I cannot update my profile, which means that the few ladies who have actually looked at my profile have found an emtpy one, typical of a lazy bum or scammer... I get an error message informing me that the site administrator has been notified. After a few days of that, I tried contacting support. No response, no even an autoreply. A few more days later I log in to see if it is fixed and I am greeted with a free 1 hour trial platinum membership. Well, that worked just as well as the profile updating page. I cannot read any of the 100+ messages in my email.
Sending a message to support about how convincing their free trial is, again gets no response...

Yup, I need to try another site, or just fly out there...

I met a Venezuelan girl on this site. I enjoyed talking to her and everything was going fine until she asked me for money. She made a lot of strategies to get me to wire her money through Western Union. She also wanted me to send her 80 dollars through Western Union. She gave me ultimatum and even belittle me. When I told her that I can't help her on whatsapp... She immediately blocked me on whatsapp. I don't think there is any real girls on this site that are looking for true love on here. Too many girls with so much financial problems on here. These girls on here are always making emergency excuses to trick you into giving them money like for example (Internet trouble, food trouble, and etc.)

My advice... No matter if it is an emergency... Never! Ever! Send money to a girl that you never met in real life! Video chats don't count! You could be talking to a married woman that is after your money and trap you when you visit her country.

I have been on this site for less than a week. At first I thought wow I must be really popular because my inbox was going crazy along with the woman adding me to their favorites and interested in me. At first you think this is great!

However, soon you will notice the patterns where these girls always want to take you offline to WhatsApp or Skype. They want you in a private area to work you over. I had one who Skyped me from Jamaica at 6am to ask me for money to put minutes on her phone! Really? Click. Another one started dry begging about not having money for something or other and she got booted too. I firmly believe that if you give each one long enough you'll find that the end result is that they are not there for relationships at all. Another one had different pics of her on the site and slipped up and sent me altogether different ones in Whats App. Totally sloppy characters.

But it's not just them. The site is nefarious as well. So to help any other Joe out there here is my results of this epic failure of an experiment:

1.) As soon as you start searching you will be riddled by bots who know you are online. Beware these are all fake profiles! The site is either complicit or is selling access to your profile.

2.) One picture ponies. No real content in their profiles with one photo that surely isn't even there's.

3.) Throwing out some Whats App number and you have never had any contact with them yet. Phoney!

4.) Sending messages to your inbox but never seeing your profile. Bogus!

5.) The Skype video loop. If they want to go over to Skype they show you some looped video and if you play dumb and ask them why is it so slow. They will say their screen is freezing and they don't know why. Happened more than once with me. I think those guys are from Ghana.

As someone else said if you really want to meet a nice Latina go to their country and meet them. Even then realize that their looks are deceiving and most live very poor lives and scamming fat bald white dudes is easy money. Or better yet, just stay in your lane and save your money.

I have been dealing with this company on and off for about 5 years. 99% of the ladies are only here for entertainment and do not give a $#*! about any relationship.

Additionally, the majority are only interested in out money; help me pay my rent; need for the baby.

Then there are the VISA SCAMS, telling us they can get a visa is a month, and all they need is the BIOMETRIC money and help with the cost. Do this and 2 things will happen

1. Your money disappears
2. The lady disappears

If a lady asks you to join in google hang-out and says..."hello handsome" it is a scam.

I am Colombian but now live in he USA legally. I would say I am a 4/10 looks wise but a registered pharmacist. If you can't get a hot girl in the country where you live it's because you are not desirable like me. Thinking you can get a hot women from Latin America I'd stupid, you are still undesirable but offer s chance for a hot girl to get to the USA. In my country girls get married and have kids by latest of latest 23 normally 21. Anygirl over this age who is attractive and not married is a) a professional educated women in a upper class family. Or prostitutes who have been worked since 12-13 and are retirement age around 25-30. Pimps generally offer call girls to buy there wAy out after 25. There is little demand for prostitutes over 30. The gringos only want kids. These girls move out of there work spots into new areas and start new lives, they are broken women and have no emotion or love for a man left and just want to get as much money out of some $#*!s like us of into the USA. The problem with us men is our $#*!s are like a moth to a flame. All I'm saying is you are stupid if you think a hot girl will marry a average jo for love, wake up. In general I am disgusted with my Latin people, greedy lot.
