I will talk about being on this site for 3 years intermittently and from a Latina perspective. It's interesting how so many men writing reviews here complain so much about how everything they find are scammers and low quality women, when they only judge and go over head heels based on appearance. I am a reasonably attractive not fat, curvy, childless, educated, calm woman who tried to meet someone seriously there, who is fluent in English and other languages and put effort on write a full profile in English and of course I wouldn't get as many attention as gold diggers with fake breasts and trashy look. It's a lie most men there are looking for setting up a real connection, they are just looking for a trophy wife. I met a guy over there who played with my feelings and travelled to my country to meet me only to dump me after complaining how I was "low standard" yet after a few days he was back on the site getting in contact with scammers and obvious prostitutes only for how they looked. I felt afraid, sad and depressed for a long time, it broke my confidence. So men, before trying to join the site please put your priorities in order and stop fooling yourself by saying you are there looking for a good woman, you are mostly there trying to get a woman with a porn star look. So unless you are a woman with exaggerated big fake boobs/butt and surgeries it doesn't worth it.

These girls are head over heels for you. But they don't have Facebook or Skype or Viber. What a BS! For some reason ladies from legit sites don't have this problem! They don't mind using free media. Of course they need to know you a little bit but the thing is they are just more genuine and honest. The difference from LatinAmericanCupid is tremendous. I'll never go back to LatinAmericanCupid although I really like how latino women look. They're fabulous and beautiful. But I don't trust these Latino dating sites anymore. Don't believe their words of love. They will write you any kind of romantic nonsense - they just want to gain your sympathy. Why do they need your sympathy and interest? Because they make money on this site! The more you spent on chatting with them the more they "earn".

Latinamericancupid is overpriced, overinflated and the biggest problem of all, is when you want to remove your profile, get this, you have to subscribe to remove and update your profile, lol. Honestly, I am suing them and making sure they are under the cosh for their exceedingly intrusive website.

I do not recommend it at all. You have to pay £18.25 a week just for the simple chat function. This is totally unrealistic. You then have additional costs for other areas on the website.

YOUR NOT WORTH IT LATINAMERICANCUPID. I believe they are the most expensive and overrated dating website in the World.

Most of the guys are there for a night, nothing serious, complaining about catfishing and scammers... When they also are only playing. Stay away from old sacks, those are specially boring and sick.
If you are a professional and independent Latin woman, back off this site, this is more for the poor girls from the favelas who need a fly ticket to Europe or North America. Men are used to deal with those woman in exchange for sex, they make them feel superior... Just read the comments here :)

The first thing I want to say is stay away from this site and sites connected with Cupid Media. These people are dishonest. And the women on their sites have one purpose. And that purpose is to try and relieve you of your money. Once you give them your credit card details you are in trouble. They store your credit card info so they can charge your card each month. It's called recurring charge.
My renewal was set to "No". They changed my renewal to "Yes" and charged my card $34.99...
I have since closed my credit card account. They will not be able to charge my card again... lol
Hey people I am being honest about my review. I advise you to stay away from all sites owned by Cupid Media.

I am a working 28yr old mexican woman who has lived in seattle for 20 years and have recently move to el paso, and if youre interested in finding a latino man in his late 20s (or early 30s) like you, you're kinda out of luck. Most of the men on there will be between their late 40s and 60s and they do judge based on how well your body looks (i know because at first i only posted pictures of my face but i did an experiment wearing a black dress) and they are in fact interested in your looks and dont give you the patience to speak with them because thanks to the gold diggers all girls wanting to chat look bad, abd thats made some of them cynical in the way they communicate to the rest of us non-gold diggers, so if youre looking for a 20 something man like you, keep looking, you will probably have better luck doing it in person than wasting your time reading hundreds of messages from old men who would rather hit on a woman for the way she looks at 28 than at what a 40 or 50 yr old woman THEIR AGE can offer them.

This review goes to both LatinAmericanCupid and ColombianCupid, owned by the same company and generally the same experience. I am revising this review since I think my prior review was way to long. In short summary yes there are real profiles. With those you still must be cautious as some are straight up gold diggers, and at some point they will ask for money. If you are to remember anything form all the reviews remember this DO NOT SEND MONEY. Cupid Media with their canned responses really do not take true steps to moderate, some paying members accounts have been suspended for reporting many so there is some kind of possible collusion. Here are the red flags to look out for if you decide to pay and join.
-Do not turn auto pay on
-Any of the profiles that wants your whatsapp or gives you their number immediately or quickly is a scam. Most real decent women don't just hand out their personal number immediately to a random dude that rule applies here and there.
-If you notice their responses are short almost canned to your questions or off in some way this is a likely a bot profile. Block it
-A general reluctance to answer questions almost defensiveness (as long as your questions are actually well intended). These are likely money scammers they are lazy they want quick and easy money move on.
-Sob story about Relatives needing an operation, they have no money to eat (but they have money to be using the internet LOL) they are gold diggers and this site is infested with them.
-Any profiles out of Dominican Republic, Europe, Venezuela or Cuba (Why would you even visit the last two). Either way they are scams heck even the embassy if you got that far scrutinizes any K1/CR1 visa heavily in the Dominican Republic due to such high fraud.
In closing Don't Send Money, because people send these scammers money they continue to operate. There are real women but you will find yourself getting frustrated doing to scam filtering yourself. Want advice don't sign up, just fly down there meet them using Tinder, Badoo, even a few weeks before you go (if you pay for premium you change your location to be located in Colombia. If you want a wife research reputable MatchMaker agency (not tours), honestly yes its a small investment but you will get the best and safest results and Money is Time.

I won't recommend anyone to pay membership in LatinAmerican Cupid.com because it contains a lot of fake profiles with stolen pictures of women for disguised used by scammers and extortionists around the world that lured you to WhatsApp for the purpose to scam you even using death threats to extort you to get your money. The ones that are real women from Latin America country are in the website where they also lured you to WhatsApp, and when you are in WhatsApp with them after they had lured you to it, after a few interactions with them in texting and video calls, they ask you to pay their mobile phone bills through Ding.com to keep on texting and video calling with them and after you paid for their mobile phones, you don't hear from them anymore. Some of the women ask you to send money to them to allegedly buy food, some they ask you to send money to them to alleged pay for their college fees and the worst is that there's some women from the Dominican Republic that fabricates False sad stories saying that their mothers or daughters are ill in the hospital and need money to save their lives. I have experienced all these these asking money ingrates and here's some proof to support my true report.

So far, in my first few days, I have found that 90 percent of the people who contact you are scam artists with stolen pictures. Then when you find a real girl who matches the photos, she is a scam artist trying to get you to send money without even talking for an hour before they try. I report each and every one but it is clear that they do not even look at theses profiles before approving them. For instance: A latina woman who is 21 years old who have one parent who is swedish and one who is american, but they divorced so she had to move to sweden. Oh and she apparently had a masters degree at 21. How is that hard to spot? Then the phone number comes for whatsapp and guess what question is asked in the first hour? Yeah can you send money. Informed customer service no response, doubt if they ever will.

--update: "Zero Tolerance"?! If what I experienced was zero tolerance than I would hate to see what 50% tolerance would be like. Your 24/7 efforts do what exactly? Here is what your efforts are placed: making money. False profiles still make you money. So your telling me you would cut into your profit margin for the customer after they somehow prove a profile is fake, maybe? No, you spend your money on advertisement not some super internet force called "Zero Tolerance" that is up 24/7 fighting crime to protect the poor suckers you scam! You must think us all fools to buy into that lame lie.

I paid a 3 month membership and have not been able to read or send messages! A scam. I have a receipt for the purchase but nothing.

I have read through all of the reviews here and struggled to think of a way to write a review that might help other men who are deciding whether to spend the money to join and try to find a nice latina.

First, I will say I have had some success using this site to talk with women and have actually met some in their respective countries. I mention this because there are some genuine women on the site and it isn't completely overrun by scammers.

Second, despite my initial praise up above, yes there are a lot of scammers on the site. I hate to write a comment where I am generalizing about women from certain countries but I have discovered that talking with women from Dominican Republic, Cuba or Venezuela... there will be a very high chance that they will try to scam you. I am from the USA so the chances of me visiting Venezuela or Cuba is very low due to diplomatic reasons, however, I was willing to chat with women from those countries and perhaps meeting them somewhere else could have been a possibility. Until I get requested to send money etc, then the harsh realization that I am talking with a scammer sets in.

Without fail, every single time a woman from one of the above countries contacted me eventually some kind of a request to pay for something or to send money for a relative who "lost their job", "my aunt has become very sick", "my cell phone credit is about to run out" will be asked of me. It is a shame and very sad because I am sure that some women from those countries are genuinely looking for love. The scammers end up giving the rest a bad reputation and for me I more or less view any initial message from a woman that lives in those countries with a high degree of suspicion.

Without trying to overly bash the site due to the scammers, I will sum my thoughts as simply this. There are a lot of women on the site, I have had some success in talking with genuine women there. Things didn't work out due to other reasons after I had met the woman--none of that is the fault of the dating site.

However, anyone who signs up on the site should be alert that there are a lot of scammers, and unfortunately a lot of those scammers seem to from Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Cuba.

I lived in Cuba for 2 years prior to Covid and my Canadian and Cuba friends who are in Cuba tell me the biggest scam now is girls getting foreigners to buy them phone credit and the Cuban girls sell the Credit.
Most of the girls on this dating site are actually chulos (pimps) or the Chulo make the girls suck men into buying them phone credit.
If you do meet a girl on this site ask them asap to see them on video for at 30 seconds.

When I started it 2 nights ago I was liking the appt, it looked legit and after paying $40+ bucks my profile is now eliminated. I sent an email and still havent heard back from them. Will be reporting them to my cc company for scam.

I have been on this a few times, first time I went to Peru and had a great time for 4 months. In the end I decided the lady was not for me, but what an experience. Second time I talked with the lady for 2 months and she called it quits, never did get to Argentina. Third time hopefully lucky with a Columbian beauty, plan to go when this covid sibsides.
There are alot of ladies looking for cash and scams, but grow up boys, as the site says don't send money.

I met and fell in love with a girl from Mexican cupid. The distance eventually tore us apart so I'm back at it on this one. I live in Vegas so I'm familiar with scammers and everyone trying to hustle a buck. I believe in the site overall and think I will eventually find that young gorgeous exotic woman that is way out of my league again. Most men on this site do not k ow the living conditions these girls are in. Yes they are desperate to come to America and have a better life of freedom. Heres the deal... those women are traditional and believe their man should take care of them and in return they will show you what it's like to be a king. There are of course scammer only girls on there but there are real ones as well. What I've found is to focus on the ones that view but say nothing. This tells me they liked the look enough to read the profile but they want you to be a man and go after them. Go out and try to pick up as many women at a bar and I bet you will spend more than 39 dollars and you'll get to k ow what face to face rejection feels like. This is like hating our government for putting in freeways because there are bad drivers on it. Try walking if you'd rather avoid any highway problems. This site is a multilane FastTrack and you will encounter bad drivers and traffic jams but its still the fastest most economical way to get where you wanna be.

I am sorry, but the site is full of scammers. At the minute I started using it, I was bombarded for a lot of messages. I chatted with about 12 girls and these were their patterns:
Single or widow.
Single daughter.
Live by her self.
Don't work.
Are taking classes to be a RN.
Don't have a cellphone because it was stolen or is broken and they need one.
They don't have social media memberships (in 2021?... hello)
Some of them are living in an Hispanic country but they do not speak Spanish.
They are very friendly.
Once they start chatting with you, they disappear from the site.

One of them was from Ghana, and she looked spectacular, a very classy, elegant, glamorous Eastern European girl. Wearing expensive watches, purses and shoes. She was studying to be a RN. Her father "was" was doing business with gold and emeralds. And she decided to study for an RN.
I caught them one by one in their lies. It's not a place to look for a serious relationship.
And yes, it's too expensive. It's not worthy.

I was looking for latinas, I love latinas, but not Latin Cupid. I will be strongly no recommending this site to anyone. And It's already posted in all my social media accounts. I will be watching closely this site, the consumer report, the attorney general, and FBI needs to know what is going on. There are federal felonies happening in there.

This us a total scam site. Not all profiles are real. Believe me.
This is the way it works. Soon after a girl start chatting to you, they wither ask you to join them in Google meets or they send you a WhatsApp. Number which you think is them.
After a while of nice chat a similar pattern emerges.
Yes you've guessed it. They looking for money for something. Either they need a new phone or they need to fix their laptop
or their mother needs money or some other bull$#*!. They are usually looking for money cards which cant be traced.
Interesting enough as soon as you start to question this they can start getting quiet aggressive and abusive.
I promise you this is a complete bull$#*! site..
