The site, while not beautiful, is easy to navigate. I found the screen I needed immediately but just to make sure, I took a picture of the barcode of the one I was replacing and sent it to tech support. They replied in less than an hour with a link to the screen I should get (which was the one I had found based on the earlier search). I made the order and it was shipped the same day. Additionally, when it came, I double checked the instructions by watching their video. The price was fantastic and saved me a bundle. It turned out the package was delayed several days, but that was FedEx's fault. I highly recommend this site!

I normally don't replace laptop screens but a friend asked me after he sat on his laptop. I knew exactly what type of screen i needed and did a quick search on google for companies that sold laptop screens. After reviewing a few sites. I landed on laptopscreens.com. Their prices were reasonable and I ordered the screen. It arrived packed very well and in the expedited time by my shipping choice. I replaced the screen and would buy again from them.

Overall, this site does everything right. The store itself is clear and intuitive; you're not going to mistakenly order something you don't need. The checkout process makes you aware that you have the choice to insure your item. The more power the consumer has over their order, the better in my opinion. On top of this, they sent out a followup email, informing me that if I make a video of the replacement and post it to youtube, they may pay me for my time. Though I did not take them up on this, I found it really cool that they would offer such a thing.

Great site, will buy from them in the future over other places.

I ordered a replacement screen for my Alienware laptop. It required slight modification since the screen was for a newer model, but after sending an email with photos, laptopscreen replied with a detail steps to perform the modification myself, saving me hundreds over the cost of having someone take a look at the machine. The ordering process was easy, the screen was securely packed, and I will use them again if I ever need to replace another laptop screen.

I'm very impressed with this company. I have a Gateway NV7915u and accidentally damaged my LCD Screen. I'm thinking now what? How much is this going to cost me to get it fixed? Will I have to buy another laptop? You don't really want to know how much it would cost to get it fixed believe me! And I really don't want to go buy another laptop, I'm happy with the one I have now :). So after searching around on Google I've found a few places that sold LCD screens and their prices were very unreasonably high!. Then I stumbled upon Laptopscreen.com put my model number in their search engine and wallah! There they are 4 different screens to choose from! And very reasonably priced!. So I narrowed it down to 2 screens because I have a Glossy screen and not matte. So it was the matter of which side the connector was on? So I carefully removed the LCD bezel on my laptop and bracket screws on the screen itself to see which one I have. And what to get? Also few part numbers off of it too. (Why not you're going to be opening it up anyways to replace the screen anyways?) So after seeing where the small connector was for the screen I knew which one to get. I placed my order and after 3 Business Days I received my Replacement screen packed very nicely and professionally.(That is pretty quick coming from Canada's west coast to the Chicago area) Believe it or not it took only less than a half hour to replace the screen. It was very very easy! So after $83.00 dollars vs a very high repair bill or buying a new laptop, I think I came out a winner on this one! :) Just a note and some advice. I highly recommend that you watch their video's that they have on how to replace your Laptop screen, It proved very helpful, and also take your time.

My daughter's HP dv7-1245dx needed a new 17 inch screen. The website had the most information on what to get, including stern warnings about not buying the higher resolution screen (due to the on board graphics card) nor switching from LCD to LED. Also, of all the surfing I did, this website had the best collection of links for how to make the change. (I don't usually play with h/w issues.) The price was almost $20 more than the best price I found, but is the only one that included a 3 year warranty. (Although to be honest, I believe it would only cover manufacturing defects, not someone sitting on the laptop because of kids not putting it where it belongs :( Sorry, had to vent on my teenagers.) The final decision point for me was the comfort level I had after exhausting every Internet site and making two calls to the company.

I called the company because there were two options for screens for my daughter's HP. A really nice guy helped me understand the differences. (Matte vs Glossy) He requested that I place the order online vs with him over the phone. I ordered online. I was an easy experience. The screen arrived very well packed a few days later. They sent me emails to let me know where in the process they were.

The screen is perfect and works great. $52. Did pay for a professional to install. I would use them again in a heart beat but sure hope that I don't need to!
