Ordered four shirts with my company's logo on November 07,2021 for extensive company travel starting January 10. I'm sure it's a fine product, but I won't find out until I don't need them, because Land's End took so long to deliver. I received a confirmation email the same day stating that one of the four shirts was back-ordered past that date. No big deal, I can get by with three shirts. Lands' End charged my credit card on December 22. I received an email on January 1 that my order was "on the way" and checked their website which said the order was shipped on 12/30. The problem was that the UPS tracking number didn't do anything until January 5 when I learned the shirts were not going to arrive until January 10. $190 worth of shirts I won't need. I am recommending to my company for another logo provider.
Entire family wore lands end clothes. I shopped almost exclusively Lands End for decades. I loved the style, fit, design, and quality of the clothing. The quality gradually decreased over the years, but in the last year plummeted from about 4-5 stars to 0 stars. There isn't much difference between Walmart quality anymore.
I tried to get information about a product and received more or less jibberish emails three times that did not answer my question although I continued to email back repeating the information I sought. The emails appeared to be written by non native English speaers who had no knowledge of Lands End products. The grammar read as though Google translate was used to compose the emails and perhaps to try to find the answer to my question. Very different from the days when one called customer service in WI and always received competent customer service.
Called your company on regards of a purchase through your website on December 30,2021. I received a message prior to this issue in which the representative who called me wasn't specific on her requests but asked to call you guys back.
I called and tried to speak with 2 of your representatives who had no idea what to do for me, I provided for both my customer ID number to better assist me and was clear about my question to the pertaining order, still didn't get any answers, the last representative called 2 different names during our called and I had to correct her several times. Once she seemed to find my order, she asked me for my Credit card number which I refused to give it to her since my order was placed a week over. I asked to speak to a manager and miraculously, was told by the same representative that her manager was going to take care of it and that the Credit card wasn't needed again.
Somewhere down the line your line of customer service wasn't properly trained, I would suggest for you to improve your team and provide professional, accurate and effective assistance. It is a shame that a business company consists of inproper personnel.
I've done business with Lands End for decades. They used to be good. Now they always seem to be malfunctioning on purpose. I ordered two navy blue swim towels. They turned out to be dark gray. They did not send the wrong item. They are deliberately calling dark gray towels "True Navy." I saw this online but I thought they must have used the wrong picture or that the towels appeared different in person. Because who doesn't know what navy blue looks? Lands End, that's who. The towels were even grayer in person.
I needed the towels to swim and had thrown most of my old towels away. I asked them to send me new towels (cobalt blue) for free and let me keep the gray ones. I thought this was fair because there is just no excuse for the problem they caused. They said no but they would take a return and waive shipping on the replacement.
Life being what it is I don't know where the shipping label is and I took one towel out of the plastic to check the color, etc. Just not dealing with that.
They did communicate with me promptly and politely. They may have removed the mislabeled towels from the website at my suggestion. Problem is, for years there is always dysfunction at this company.
Picture: The gray towel in the picture was Lands Ends "True Navy"as of late December 2021. The actual navy items are for comparison.
Ordered a number of things - hats, gloves, scarfs on 12/1/2021. Received each item one at a time over a period of three weeks - poor management. Received messages a week before Christmas that the 2 waterproof gloves I ordered wouldn't be shipped until 12/28/2021 even though they were available when I ordered them. I still don't have them. Received another message that they are back ordered until 1/15/2022. Will not be ordering from this company again. It is a shame because items are very good quality.
Landsend falls short in basic things - customer service and shipping.
In a time where online shopping is the most sought out option, they move at a snail pace. Other companies take 5-7 days for regular or basic shipping. They take 5-10 days just to package your item. Another 5-10 days to ship. If you are a regular online shopper like me and are served well by other brands, you wouldn't consider them at all!
Customer service is a joke. The chat person asks you to call a phone line for anything other than simple questions like what is the status and so on. Phone call was transferred twice, the senior agent answers later and says you didn't read the fine print of shipping.
After years of ordering from Lands End, this will be the last. I realize we are experience shipping issues in the US, but this is nuts. Ordered on December 3rd, called today and still not put in a box to ship. Expected to arrive as late as Dec 21st. Best to avoid and go buy elsewhere. Called only to have condescending customer service.
All other clothing companies that I have ordered from on line always gives you a full refund. This company will not refund shipping changes. Please never order from this company, there are too many other companies that are happy that you order from them and will give you a full refund.
This was my first time shopping at Lands' End I went to the outlet in Madison to try on sizes of parkas and the maxi coat they didn't have a maxi coat available only online. So I found out my size I went home went on line and looked at the coats and pricing is different from the actual store to online. So my first purchase was five coats I like color so there were colors available, orange, magenta, bubblegum pink, royal blue etc. never expecting to pay more for different colors of the same coat. So to my disbelief I did place the order. But felt that somehow I would be able to get the price adjusted at some point within the timeframe. Went to the actual store and they had the same coats and different colors about $28 less each, so then I bought five more coats at the actual store. So for a first time buyer I would think 10 coats is quite the purchase. So I did go back to the store to check about price adjustments and they said it had to be done online so Monday I called and they said that they would submit my purchase for a price reduction or price review, and this would only b done once. I just called again and they said they don't do that and I said well yes you do because I talked to somebody on Monday and they told me to call today for the review of my account, so I talk to Megan in customer service and she kept going round and round about what offer I had received by signing up for emails and I just can't believe that I couldn't pin her down to actually why I couldn't get a price reduction. She wouldn't tell me what offers they had running right now she was depending on me telling her what I had received well I have received so many emails from Lands' End from being a first time shopper and buyer that I can't remember all the different codes shopping codes that you have to put in. It was a type of smoke and mirrors with the different prices and all the different offers floating around out in space. So I told her that I would be returning the five coats that I bought online and she said that was my decision. And I said with this being my first time experience of purchasing lands end products, and this crazy experience of all the different pricing all the different offers I would've thought Lands' End would've done something to keep this first time 10 coat fire as a customer. But she didn't care seem to care. She was just adamant about getting her point across as to the difference between ordering online and in-store and the different price ranges for the coats and the different prices for the colors and the sizing. All this matters to what price you're gonna pay for the coat. Crazy to me. I've been on this earth 60 years and I was born to shop, but guess what I won't be shopping at Lands' End anymore I want the real price the first time so I don't have to keep calling and running around trying to figure out what email or what offer is flying around in cyberspace.
I reached out to Lands End after receiving my latest order from this company. I have placed 5 or 6 orders over the past two years. After speaking to someone customer service and not getting an answer to my satisfaction, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back and said that no one was available. I left my name and number and requested a callback. One never came.
A satisfied customer is like gold, and not returning calls is a terrible way to handle a customer request. I am taking my business elsewhere.
I ordered work apparel from Lands End. It's now coming on 50 days and still, the order has not shipped. I have emailed and called and they cannot give me the ship date. Spend your money on a smaller local company that actually cares about its customers.
We wear a lot of Lands End clothing. But I have two complaints. Ladies supima tees get small holes in cloth and mens super tees get holes around cuff. Need to address these problems
Their return process is ridiculous. They have so many hoops to dive thru you may as well give up and donate the merchandise to a worthy cause. You get emails from one person who is supposed to send you a return from AND yet another person who is supposed to send you the prepaid return label. News flash: The guy fails to attach the return form to his email and you NEVER hear from the guy who is supposed to send the prepaid label. In this computer era this is laughably referred to as "Customer Service". I'm over and done with Landsend.
Lands End has been my "go to" store for several years. You can't go wrong with their clothes. They are comfy, well made and last and last. I especially LOVE their bathing suits. There is such a selection of styles, colors and sizes. If it's not in the store, you can usually find it on line.
Ordered a stocking to match the rest of the family for new granddaughter... supposedly ordered Persimmon thread but it looks mango! No help from customer service :((
-Overpriced
-Order fulfillment takes forever
-The sizing guide is absolutely horrible and incomplete in some areas
I will never purchase from Land's end again. Their 'FREE SHIPPING' probably means to wait for farmers to harvest cottons from the field then decide to make the clothes I ordered! I understand 'delays can occur' but from placing an order to shipping takes 3 1/2 weeks? I ordered items from different stores last weekend and I already received those items, another thing that is irritating is that they don't even send an update email about the status of the order, no apologies for the delay or whatsoever! Hey Land's End- YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER WHO LIKES TO SHOP A LOT!
I find it outrageous that your policy is to send by email an e-card as a refund which is not linked to the account. Specially as this so-called ecard is not connected to the item refunded nor the order number of the purchased made. So when we receive it, we have no idea to what item refunded it relates to nor to what order number it relates to verify amount is correct, for the correct item refunded. Your policy is to bank/bet that customer will end up forgetting the e card, loose it in the amount of junk email with promotion that they receive.
Bought my kid the school uniform, and it took 5 months to get here. And the box was damaged. Horrible quality, and takes too long. My kid had to borrow his classmates pants for the time being until it arrived. Once again, horrible.
Horrible company! Been waiting over 3 weeks for three pairs of pants they claimed were in stock. NEVER AGAIN-- USELESS COMPANY!
Answer: They charged me shipping on my order. (I no longer patronize them because they charge for shipping returns, even if the product is deficient.)
Answer: Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
Answer: I don;t know about knit pants but I have had the Starfish for a couple of years now and they don't become baggy--just a little but they bounce right back after washing. I was very happy with mine, went to get a new pair and ended up with a pair I cannot wear. Dismayed to find that returns are too complicated (expensive, too) so will be getting out the sewing machine to make them fit (they are huge in the thigh). I think the problem lies with having ordered Tall. The old pants are just Regular. Be careful about sizing!
Answer: Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!
