So, I was instructed to schedule with automated attendant which I did but upon arrival, no appointment was scheduled. I was instructed to sign in using a kiosk which I did, but the receptionist didn't show I had signed in. I was informed by the receptionist that when she found my order (which had been faxed in by Doctor) they would put me in the cue. The stack of paper orders was at least 6" tall. Disorganized, automated system not working efficiently and the poor receptionist was not able to handle all of the unhappy people who had been sitting waiting for 30 to 45 minutes --- not realizing they weren't registered. All in an effort to hire less people. Way to go LabCorp - you've lost my business forever!
This place is a JOKE! It doesn't matter that I had an appointment, I had to wait ½ hour. Why? Because the only phlobtomist working was stuck at the front desk doing walk-in registrations. The phlebotomist apologized to everybody waiting, telling everybody that Labcorp had fired all the registration staff a few months ago. The phlebotomist expressed concern that there is now only 1 person in the building in the early mornings and late afternoons and that was a real safety issue. Management told them never to tell the patients that they were in the building alone. They even suggested that we use Quest in the future! Such poor service, I'm writing a letter to the editor of the Laurel Leader. I wonder if the other location are just as bad.
I visited LabCorp in ridley Park n Romayne was the only worker in there. Despite that she was working solo romayne was handling everything with ease n professionalism! Ty!
Very discourteous front desk at Bluffton location. Treated people like cattle. Will never to go LabCorp again.
Terrible job hitting vein. Destroyed it and have a bruise the size of two golf balls wide. They had a bunch of people waiting and you could tell they were just rushing. My appointment was 45 mins late. Their should be some ramifications for this treatment.
A very negative experience. Paper cups for urine sample instead of covered plastic jars. No cleansing wipes available. Had to have urine test redone with different--and normal results. Inexperienced blood draw tech. Needed help.
Loose hair--not a good feeling UGH!
This place sucks as they have (or INVENT) new rules everytime you visit them. I have been visiting this location for almost 2years. There are ONLY 2 people who know everything. Every time I enter I try to look for these 2, trust me if they are not working or busy in the back office, that's it, its GUARANTEED you will have an issue at the front desk. They come up with all kinds questions & TRUST me everytime they have something new. When you ask them why in my previous visit they didn't have the problem, they ONLY answer you get is, its always been like this... I have more serious issue to write but don't want to screw up someone elses career.
Everytime I go to this location they claim I owe a bill and wont see me for my appointment until its paid, but they can never give me any explanation other than its something my insurance must not have covered, even though my insurance covers 100% of my lab work especially just routine testing which is all I have had done. IF this is a legitimate bill why am I not being billed and have to wait until you have your customer in a position where they need to pay something or not be seen.?!?!? THERE IS SOME KIND OF SCAM GOING ON HERE, would refer any and all to Quest Diagnostic, just down the street.
A routine blood test and they are charging over $2,000. I am contacting my insurance company tomorrow. Obviously a scam. And the results contradicted each other? I will be making several phone calls tomorrow!
I delivered my Mom's urine sample over a concern of a UTI to the LabCorp facility on Houk in Spokane Valley at 8:00 am. We did not hear any word of the initial results by 4:45 pm. I called Crown Health Home Service who called LabCorp. No results yet. My Mom has a UTI, and we have to wait over 24 hours for the results of a urine dip stick test that takes 2 minutes (Speaking from experience; I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Valley Hospital and process these samples daily.) Actually, there are two issues here - the incredible delay of service from LabCorp, and the don't care attitude of the Crown staff who told me,"If your Mom is in that much pain take her to an urgent care." (Mom - wheelchair, oxygen, right.) LabCorp is known far and wide in the industry for terrible service.
This male driver going southbound on the 14 fwy 90-100 miles on 6/17@5:55 pm the labs are horrible what can you expect from the drivers..
This LabCorp was just perfect I'm an extremely hard stick Jacqueline was able to get the blood and I was in and out of there 45 minutes. The only problem was she's one person doing everything and trying to get it all done, and to take a bathroom break is apparently look down upon. I'm sure that they should give her a few 10-minute breaks so she relieve herself. She's the best and compared to all your other reviews for real she's the best. PS, I was only there 45 minutes but there was a lot of business a lot of phone calls and one girl balanced it all out she's a keeper! Signed Shon Perrish
LabCorps bought out the Lab in my area, that had been in business for 50 years, everyone loved them, they were helpful etc etc. Had my Thyroid Labs Drawn over a week ago, which normally is back 2 -3 days tops, but not with LabCorps, still waiting, and cannot find out what the hell is going on with them... If you need your labs drawn before your next Drs appt, you had better have them done maybe 3 weeks ahead of time if you want them back on time. I had never had this happen with the former Lab. A lot of complaints... This is a nation wide corporate Lab taking over everything, and the patients are the ones who suffer. I hope someone better comes along and buys them out... However with all this said I have since found a Lab at my local hospital that does all their own etsting which I will be using form here on out, and LabCorps can kiss my $#*!
Had an awful experience with billing department. They over charged me and I found out what they told me was a lie. But I don't have it on paper of what I found out. Very rude and very defensive when they saw that I had done my homework. No it's not over I'm still trying to fight it. I did pay it, to keep it off my report. As I have family to raise and a full time job I can't devote every minute to this. BBB will also be notified. So rude. Not done
Went in for a pre employment screening and the receptionist didn't acknowledge me for several minutes because she was busy finishing something on her personal phone.
Apparently labcorp needs you to make a specific timed appointment for a UA. Even though this was setup by the hiring company. I just went back to the hiring company and informed them of this issue, so they just lost a handful of business.
Last visit, felt like a harpoon and was black & blue for a week afterwords. They didnt do what I asked. Be careful. And the new sign in system takes forever. Blah...
This is one of the worst if not the worst lab I have been the windows are covered with dirt also the waiting area has a funny sewage smell am changing lab.
My cardiologist is right next door, so he sent me here to run my troponin in order to determine whether or not I need to be admitted to the hospital for another heart attack.
The lady drawing my blood had to dig around in my arm, only wore one exam glove, and was as slow as a sloth when it came to the paperwork.
My specimen was marked STAT with 2 different stickers. The nurse at my Dr. Office called and informed them that we needed to get my results ASAP and supplied lab corp with her cell, just in case the results were complete after business hours. After 2 hours in the office, they realized how long lab corp was taking and gave me permission to leave. They didn't want me to go, but in light of the lack of test results I couldn't just stay there after the office closed.
Here I am, wondering whether or not I need to go to the ER... unsure of whether or not I will be able to work my 5 am shift tomorrow... unable to get ahold of anyone at lab corp to find out my test results.
NO ONE should ever have to be left wondering like this. I am frustrated to tears. Test results should be much more timely than this.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
On this topic (not all topics), no stars. Too many elitist assumptions to use machines. Much worst than the stupidmarket. Many people who need blood tests do not have a driver's license with a picture. Not everyone has a drivers license. I am somewhat tech savvy but have no devices other than a home phone and PC. There are ignorant assumptions that everyone owns the same things. One might say this is bad marketing or even racist. So registration for me is slower than before.
Before attending some blood work at Labcorp, I reached out to my insurance to make sure the prices were reasonable. After a long call, my insurance was finally able to tell me an approximate on how much would it be based on the CPT codes I've gotten from my doctor. Turns out Labcorp run some "additional" testing to make sure the results were right and ended up paying 5 times more of what I initially was told. I started a complain and talk to them claiming that me or my doctor should have been notified before proceeding with any additional test but the answer was simply "that's how we work, there's nothing we can do". Worst customer service ever. Save your money and stress. DO NOT GO TO LABCORP!
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
