For profit Healthcare in America is terrible. I guess it's no surprise that the medical community entrusts our critical bloodwork and medical testing with people who lose results, lose blood, fail to perform tests requested by doctors, and misfile data, and then play dumb when you call customer service to try to get some information. "Results? We didn't get any order for antibodies on____. What are the codes for that? I can't tell you anything without the codes." [Googling Labcorp test codes for various antibody tests.] "here's labcorp's code for____. The doctor Ordered that test. Did you do it?" "uh. No. We weren't asked to do those tests. You would have to go back to your provider." "I did. They showed me the tests they ordered. Did you complete them?" "You'd have to go back to your doctor."

Feeling really confident. I'm sure if the test is positive, I can't trust it. If it's negative, I can't trust that either. What's the point?

I was greeted by a rude person. The technician was non verbal and likely did not change gloves between patients. The jab was very painful. The bathroom is beyond filthy. There is nowhere you can call to complain. It is shameful that such a filthy, disgusting place is allowed to operate as a medical facility. I will complain to my doctor who usually refers me to Davies Hospital for blood tests. Sorry I didn't take pix.

Service terrible

Another example if corporate greed. Easy to make an appointment, extreme hassle to get service or login for a refund. Place is also a dump and no one greets you or communicates.

They should shut down and go home.
A C. Diff test took 8 days. In the meantime I was hospitalized. A friend's Covid test took 8 days. Why does anyone use them is beyond me. Horrible company to deal with.
They don't understand that they are dealing with sick people.
They should be sued by everyone who did not get results in a timely manner.

The WORST EVER!
June 9, 2021

A family member went to Labcorp for specific blood tests. Labcorp Drew blood then later called and said they didn't have the correct tube. So back he went,, TWO MORE TIMES! Each time they said they could conduct all the tests only to tell him later they didn't have the correct tubes. He literally read off all the tests and asked them if they could do them and they assured him they could. They are truly incompetent and have the worst patient service ever. The employees just don't seem to care. Side note,, this has extended the timeline to him receiving treatment and has likely jeopardized his health further. Absolutely terrible.

For over a year now I have been unable to make an appointment on Labcorp's website. I fill out all the required information and upon finalizing the appointment, I get an error message. I attempted to contact someone about this and there is no phone number or email to report this sort of problem. I finally went through a string of phone numbers until I got to the right one for making an appointment. If there was a minus five star rating, I would have selected that for a rating for this organization's customer service and web site. If it were not my employer's decision to switch to LabCorp I would still be going to Quest Diagnostics. Never had a single problem with them. LabCorp sucks! Avoid them if you have a choice.

I visited the location in Lyndhurst, NJ. The entire experience was professional, welcoming, and well organized. There were so many hiccups, from the fax breaking to appointments failing outside of their appointment range, but the entire staff slaughtered every obstacle that came up against them. The behaviors here and the staff need to be highlighted because what they can accomplish is unheard of in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Thank you, and I wish to train my medical team to act with grace, empathy, and professionalism as highlighted and was upheld by an all female team yesterday.

I just had my annual blood work done at lab Corp and for the first time it was completed by an incompetent phlebotomist. Normally, after the tourniquet is placed and you find the vein and blood is drawn you remove the tourniquet. HOWEVER, this person left the tourniquet on throughout the 5 vials filled. I did said aren't you going to remove tourniquet which they replied, "NO". I NEVER left there with my arm profusely bleeding after needle removed. I will not return. I am going to ask my insurance company if I can use another lab.

They claim I owe them $8.22 but when I show them that I paid they want more proof than what I have in my bank records. They have blocked my account forcing me to go else where. Time and time again I have tried to get the matter cleared but to no avail. They wont take their time to research on their end but expect me to waste my time looking for $8.22. Tried to add the transaction line from my bank statement and it expects a 300x300 px image which cuts off the whole like. I paid on Jan 4th 2021 and I am still getting a run around this company.

I recently had a doctor visit and labcorp was used in doing my blood work. The horror began when I used my debit card to make payment out of pocket. These crooks charged my debit card FOUR times and when I called for them to fix the issue, their attitude was, there's nothing we can do, you have to wait up to 48 hours or seven business days to get your money back! If you have to make any payments to these clowns, use a paper check and mail it in, they won't collect on it more than once.

Labcorp, please pay your people more. It is obvious that you hire those who were fired from the USPS for poor service and cannot get a job anywhere else!

Clarksburg Labcorp
May 20, 2021

I had the most pleasant and efficient time at Labcorp Clarksburg. I generally dread the wait and rudeness that I've encountered at other Labcorps. The Clarksburg Labcorp at 7:00am was crowded but took less than 20 minutes. The employees actually cared about doing a good job. It was a pleasure to go there.

Trying to build my life back up after addiction and LabCorp is charging me $200 every two weeks for urine drops I did not ask for I explained to them I just had triple bypass and I've had heart problems yet they proceeded to ruin my credit when I just spent the last ten years trying to get back on track thanks a lot LabCorp I'm sure my measly $800 is going to prevent you from going out of business but me on the other hand it's going to keep me fed with a roof over my head

This review is not indicative of all LabCorp facilities, but merely the lab core in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
I am sitting in the parking lot of your Milwaukee office. I was here at 4:26pm 5/7/21. You don't close until 4:30pm, but I was met with this(see photos). Puzzled, I looked up the times to make sure. I knocked on the door, and the phlebotomist answered. I said it's not 430 yet why are you closed? She said it's too late, I'm already closed up and punched out. I said it's not 430. She said her boss lets her leave two minutes early. You should have somebody in your business at 4:30 if your sign says you're open until 430. The lady was rude. If this is the kind of people that you hire to be your customer service representatives for your company, then I am very happy that there are other laboratories for people to choose.

I would just like to say that I've had a lot of lab testing is done in Palm Springs California LabCorp, and I never had issues with them.

The Mount Vernon, WA staff was helpful, cheerful and efficient. I am 76 years old and don't hear well. The staff member was patient with having to repeat instructions. My thanks to them for a very good experience.

The primary task of a medical lab is to provide trustworthy numbers. I have had two results in the last two lab visits that had erroneous numbers. In both cases I verified the correct numbers with lab tests at Quest Diagnostics which has never failed to give accurate info. The first was an A1C test, which LabCorp reported at 5.6. I am on an ultra-low carbohydrate diet, and so a 5.6 is an impossible number for me, and every other test in 3 years has been 5.1 or 5.2. The Quest test taken a few days later came back at 5.2. The second test a few months later was a lipids panel which LabCorp reported a triglycerides of 430. This also was a crazy number as mine had never been above 150. The Quest test taken a few days later showed a typical triglycerides number of 109. They must not be re-calibrating their lab equipment. If you can't get reliable numbers from a lab, then it's not wise to use them, and I will never be using them again. Quest is super reliable.

LabCorp invites you to submit email inquiries - but it is fake. Although you get a nice acknowledgement with an inquiry number that states LabCorp will "connect you with the best person on our team to address what you need" in fact you will not get any support in response to your inquiry. Instead, after wasting your time to complete the form and waiting for the response, you will get a second email from LabCorp a few days later acknowledging that they will not be responding or providing any customer service as they initially stated. Instead, the email directs you to start over by contacting the customer service phone line. That would have been nice to know at the time so that I did not waste my efforts with a fake form and wait for fake customer service. I will not be using LabCorp.
