Made an online appointment for antibodies testing. Appointment was for 9:15. Arrived at 9, as requested and signed in from my car. At 9:30 I received text saying my technician was ready for me, so I should come up to office and wait for my name to Be called. When I got up stairs, I noticed many people standing and sitting in the hall. When I went into the room I counted 20 people inside the extremely small room waiting. After about 10 minutes of standing There in very close quarters, I went to the front desk to ask and was told she would get with me in a minute. Five minutes later she asked me for my paperwork. I told her I didn't have any because I had registered and done all that online. She said OK and had me wait longer. Finally I began having a panic attack and was told I was next. A technician came and called someone else! I spoke up and told her I was having panic attack. She took me right back. I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes, being exposed to all kind of germs. There were only two technicians to handle all these people! I was told they schedule 3 people for every appointment time.
I am new to LabCorp and my initial impressions have not been good. I have visited your Hamden office on three occasions and each time the service has been mediocre to poor. On my first visit, the lab tech was very nice but the admin staff seemed unable to function. I finished all my test within 30 minutes but then waited two hours to pay my bill. The next visit involved a put upon lab tech who could not answer basic questions and made negative comments about my PCP. She claimed to not be able to understand his handwriting but made no attempt to call his office when provided with the information even though there were no other patients in the office at the time. The last visit on 08/13/21 was the worse. A lab tech was in the office alone and she was very rude and off putting when I asked about my bill. I had a question or two about the self checkin procedure and she hummed and sighed as if I got on her nerves so bad. I am a senior citizen and think that you should really pay close attention to the Hamden office. They also do not have adequate seating and when more than three people are in the waiting area there is no room for social distancing. Coupled with the inefficiency, it has been a consistently unpleasant experience at your Hamden office.
Tried calling for 2 days. The automated service says press "7" to speak directly to the customer service center. After ringing about 5-6 times, it goes to voicemail. I have left several voicemails but continued to call. All I want is some info regarding testing. Continued calling, always to voicemail. Continued calling, someone picked up but all I heard was computer typing and distant chatter. My guess is that whoever picked up was just sick of hearing the phone ring and set it down. Never heard back from these jokers. If your doctors schedule testing with this company, ask if you can have the work done elsewhere. LabCorp doesn't deserve the business.
Staff is very rude! I was by the front desk was asked very rudely why I was standing there. I felt humiliated I am a mature woman not a child. Wanted to know what happened to my blood work that was not forwarded to my Dr. Not the first time, these ladies are very rude Wanda being the rudest. Not using them again.
Really awful place. Puts staff in daily danger. Not for the faint hearted. No job satisfaction not really the job for an animal lover.
After 2 1/2 days of 20-40 calls per hour to both of their Huntington Beach CA offices, all went unanswered! The attempt to register on their "Portal" failed as their unworkable computer system has voice recognition that does not work.
Calls to Corp. office in North Carolina unanswered after 20 minutes.
Could it be this firm is operated in some abandoned N. C. garage by grade school dropouts who are unsure or unknowing on how to answer a phone or provide any kind of service? Looks that way. Their National ratings are the worst. I am contacting my HealthCare Provider (Optum) to see why they would use such a poorly rated firm for their lab work.
In the Mira Mesa Labcorp, a Specialist (blood drawer) named Juan was very good and efficient at getting MT blood the first time. I am known as a "very difficult hard stick" even in hospitals... So I had to write this positive review to brag about my experience today 8/5/2021. Thank you!
I went to the lab corp in Tallahassee on Tim Gamble Place. I did not have an appointment and was in and out in less then 30 mins. Hope was the person who took my blood and she was the best ever! I hardly felt her put then needle in - what a very good experience.
I scheduled an appoint with labcorp in Maplewood on August 2 at 8:30. Office hours starts at 7: am. When I got there the office is lock and patients are outside waiting. No one showed up and no notification on answering service or the door.
I was full of anxiety as I had conflicting information on when my covid PCR results would be ready. Add to that when I set up the online patient portal no one could confirm me in the system. I was successful in registering independently a patient account and emailing my provincial drivers license separately but no one could find me in their system when I called to check on my results status. Walgreens sent my specimen but labcorp could not confirm. I'm panicking until 10 am on the day of my return flight home on Sunday (when no one could be reached from labcorp as they're closed) before my results arrived in my INBOX. What a relief. Printed results were perfect for boarding from Logan to return to Canada. Wish the people I spoke to at labcorp knew the reason why I wasn't in the system was because no results were available, not that they hadn't received my test. Grateful for their prompt results. (48 hrs) thank you.
I want to get my bloodwork done and at the begging I was upset because I have to wait but then I noticed that there where patients with appointments, i did have to wait but when my time came i was amazed for the respect, the caring and the humanity of all the staff at Davenport. Sometimes we have to remember that they are human and they are there to make their job no matter the situation and I they educate me about the importance of drinking water to be hydrated something that I don't see anywhere else.
Since family was flying in and my teen son and I were sick, I went for a Covid test. My results came back 4 days later, but my son's did not. Finally day 5, the results were "No swab in specimen when received". Mine were negative, however we haven't been able to see our visiting family as we wait for my son's results. Labcorp did NOT notify the urgent care. We saw the doctor place the swab in the vial. I know things happen, its how they are resolved that matters most!
Creve Coeur, Missouri location on N. New Ballas Road. The lab technician who waited on me was a tall bald man who was extremely rude, annoyed, angry, and intimidating. He was already mad about something else and that affected the way he treated me when he was administering me the blood test. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation. I recommend to go somewhere else if you need to get a blood test. He had attitude when I asked him questions. I couldn't wait for my appointment to be over.
Today I went to the Lab Corp in Somerset, NJ and I must admit, I was quite anxious. You see, usually when I need to get my blood drawn, it takes a long while because my veins are rather elusive and are quite good at evading needles, just like Trump is with his taxes. As I was waiting for the person to come in and do the test, I was going through all these various scenarios in my mind. My heart was racing. Were they going to stab the needle in my arm repeatedly? What if they couldn't find the vein? What if they keep me there for 3 hours? I couldn't take it anymore. I suddenly felt the urge to run out of the establishment because I was riddled with so much anxiety. Luckily, the person came in and immediately soothed me. I guess you could say she calmed my nerves (Get it? Nerves? Veins? Haha). Within minutes, she was easily able to find the vein on my left arm and draw my blood. I was in disbelief! This has never happened to me before! I couldn't believe my eyes. What a pleasant surprise this was! I knew immediately after I saw the blood leave my body that I had to write a review about this mesmerizing experience. The name of the flawless individual who drew my blood was Kamini, and I will forever be grateful for her. Her expertise is unparalleled, and she will always have a soft spot in my heart that now has to compensate for the blood that was lost. Thank you, Kamini. I wouldn't have been able to do this without your tender care and precision.
I had 6000 dollars worth of lab work done and because of insurance I had to pay 1000. I was on a payment plan and when I went in for a simple blood work I was asked to pay the remaining balance. It was told to me that I had a balance and needed to pay. When you come in a office to get blood work done you don't need to be asked to pay. Also when I got to the end of the payments and I hadn't kept up with the payments that they were taking out automatically and then stopped. They just took 260 from my bank account. I got a thank you letter from them for a authorization payment. The best that came out of this is I don't owe LabCorp any more money and they will never get another penny from me again. There are other labs that can do tests. I can get respect from other lab companies. Don't expect it from LabCorp
Worst lab experience ever. Website very difficult to navigate. Staff doesn't know anything about it. They don't take payment at the site so everything has to be done online. Wasted half a day and couldn't get my test done.
Im ONLY giving them 1 star because is the LOWEST the system allows but they dont even deserve that. I have been trying to contact the lab since 7am this morning it is now 10; 15am. I have appointment for tomorrw. I need to confirm the prescription that the Dr fax over was received. I have spoken to 3 of their "customer service" Rep. UNREAL how RUDE these individuals are. They cut you off in the middle of explaining the reason for your call, they claim to tranfer you without providing you the TN# or extension to where they claim to be transfering. I have been in customer service for 22 years... and if we were ever to treat the customer the way these individuals treated me today they would be FIRED! What makes things worse is those calling are PATIENCES (people that are ill). Is unreal that a Lab has such a LOW standards.
After being told my test results would be ready in 2-3 days. It took them more than a month to return any results. The result they eventually delivered were demonstrably False. Their collection site people seemed to have no idea what was going on and their "doctor" who tried to defend their finding was rude accusatory and quite honestly abusive. They should be shut down for the public good. If I could of given them a Zero I would have.
San Bernardino CA lab is quite busy but if you set up an appointment and are on time the process is quite efficient. After checking in, the wait time was less than 5 minutes and Gay drew blood on first try... out of there in less than 15 minutes...
Went to Monroe NJ office for blood work. The staff was very nice. The girl who drew my blood got me with one stick. I was grateful as I have awful veins. All in all a good experience.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
