HORRIBLE
October 23, 2021

I was diagnosed with cancer and went to labcorp for additional bloodwork before we could schedule a surgery. The Labs had rude staff that could not locate my paperwork because they misplaced it and found with someone else's paperwork. After a week of waiting for my results, I called customer service and after being on hold for 1 hour and 12 minutes, they told me they just sent the results to my Dr. I asked when the results would be put into my patient portal and the customer service representative kept saying "call your Dr. for questions about results. Ok bye. Call your Dr. Bye!". My question wasnt about the actual results, I simply wanted to know when they would post them in my patient portal so I could bring them to my oncology appointment. It's now been over 2 weeks waiting for written results. I've emailed multiple times with no response. Labcorp is absolutely disgusting.

Obnoxious Experience.
October 19, 2021

Reviewing the LabCorp in Newton Plaza, Loudonville, NY. Give it a 1 star because I had no other choice. Awful experience. Waited 20 minutes, the front desk person was in the back "chatting." When she came she was obnoxious and that is being kind. I left and called the corporate office to ask them why they would have someone like her working for them. The lady at the corporate office said that LabCorp has a difficult time retaining employees/difficult time finding good employees - so turnover is high and they "get what they get" (her words). She told me that they knew that reviews for LabCorp across the country were bad. So I guess I had a typical experience. Sad.

THE WORST
October 16, 2021

These employees need better customer service towards patients. They are very rude! They change for "other codes" in labs with no explanation about those fees. I hope this corrupt corporation close business for good. I'm not sure why they still in business with such low ratings!

It takes less than 24H to get the PCR results however Labccop policy allows them to take 72 hours (and sometimes more) for the results, which means your child would have to miss 3 days of school instead of one. Not professional and not recommended..

Mean Girls Club
October 12, 2021

Go to Lab Corp if you want to hear… It's not my job, that's corporate not us, I can't do that, you can't do that, I don't know (with no alternate solution)… and then just a bundle of mean ladies talking about customers and bossing people around as if their paychecks are not being paid by those who enter through the doors of their office. A+ unprofessional behavior and out right miserable human beings. I can see by the reading that this will not come as a surprise to most people who have visited a Lab Corp facility. Three visit strike out - specially the location off Johns Creek Parkway in Alpharetta.

I registered online and checked in online. Went to Sun City Center office on October 7,******* and was required to fully complete the same info I had completed online. The sign-in station was worn and not able to accept inputs easily. Asked for help and was told to use the Kiosk and complete the info again. After 30 minutes of this go around I left. Not professional, no customer service or helpful staff.

I went to my doctor to discuss my lab results five weeks after my labs were drawn and the results never made it to my Dr. LabCorp failed to send them. So I basically went to the Dr. For no reason. It will a waste of both our time and my money!

Exposed to Covid-19
October 4, 2021

I just received a letter from Labcorp stating I was exposed to Covid-19 from one of their employees when I had a blood draw done on 9/23/21. Today is 10/4/21. Why did it take so long to notify me? And why is an employee working who is positive? Also, they won't release my blood work results until 10/8. My doc already has the results. I really don't like this company and will avoid them in the future.

Get a New Phone System
September 22, 2021

Nothing like having to listen fo some Columbia School of Broadcasting voice insisting I go to the website while trying my hardest just to get a question answered. It should be, "To speak to a live person press One." Do that one first. Because at 1:10PM they have no one to answer and they will call me back. Been 15 min so not holding my breath. The next time the doctor's office wants to know what lab I want, it will not be Labcorp. Time to see how the others treat patients.
Rancho Mirage CA. And now 25 minutes...

Every year when my family and I have our physicals, I have to follow up with Labcorp to refill claims. Because there may be multiple diagnosis codes, the physical code (Zoo.oo) must be listed first for labwork related to the physical when filed with insurance company; otherwise, the charge will be applied towards deductible. I keep catching this... I wonder how many others (such as elderly, fixed income...) are not aware the claims are filed incorrectly and just pay the bill? This is wrong on Labcorps part.

Created an account, setup an appointment for both my kids. Showed up at my scheduled meetings, scanned my license and logged in with no problems. So I thought everything was set for my kids to get their antibody tests. Well they said that I needed to order them and I would have to log in and set that all up. I don't know my username and password, thats all on my home computer. My credit card is on file, they have my health insurance information... I don't understand and they said I would have to go home and order the test and come back. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere. The procedure is absolutely ridiculous, I did all this online and they wont even help while I'm there in person.

I consistently experienced issues with LabCorp at several locations:
1. Unsanitary: the technician used same gloves unswerving phones, opening front doors, managing supplies and trying to take my blood
2. Scheduling is very difficult, you have to search each location
3. Cannot reach a human by phone
4. Often, wait was long in spite of the fact I made a reservation
5. Billing/payment is a nightmare as they do not have account numbers, only invoice numbers.

I pre-scheduled my anti body test at Auburn, AL. Location. I had to take off work and drive 30 minutes one way to this location. I show up to get it done (mine was scheduled after my wife's) and they can't find my name in their system. I show the lab tech my confirmation email with name, etc that said that dated that time and all my info. If I go to LabCorps site it shows I'm in the system, Bu the tech could not find it on the computer she inputs the info in for the test in the room.
The solution by them was for ME to call their corporate office and straighten it out. Not them straighten their crap out but for me to do it. Mind you my wife just had hers and all was fine and we are in the same EXACT insurance policy.
So wife calls corporate since it's her insurance policy and all we get is an apology that the people they use for scheduling messed it up somehow.
I just wasted a 1 hour drive to and from plus the time to get to the room for the test and trying to find out why I'm in the system at Lab Corp but can't get a test done even though my wife did right before me.
Thank you for wasting my valuable time for nothing!

Zero Customer Service
September 14, 2021

I have called LabCorp Customer Service line three times. Each time I suffer through a long message that is totally irrelevant for me and am eventually told that every service rep is busy or that the office is closed and that I should leave my name, number and a brief message and that my call will be returned as soon as possible. It is a lie. Three calls and multiple days later, there has been no return call. I will never patronize LabCorp again.

I am in the lab for blood testing at least once a month, usually twice. When my insurance switched to Labcorp for all their blood testing needs, an irritating nightmare began. I have been to four different locations in Southern California, and each one suffers from the same ailment: unprofessional and lazy front office help. People who prefer to yell from the front, to the phlebotomist rather than get up and walk back. People who would rather eat worms than pick up the phone to confirm something, or get information the patient is not privy to. People who will feign ignorance. People who expect the patient to do their job for them.

I have no complaint with the phlebotomists. They have been professional, if not overly friendly. All I ever ask, is for people to do their jobs to the best of their ability. I now dread having to go get labs done, but I'm stuck. I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer, so labs are something I cannot escape.

Harsh
August 27, 2021

I had labs completed at the Rocklin location. It was early and only 2 patients in the lab, so I can't even attribute the behavior to a large influx of work. Christina is VERY ABRUPT. She performed a successful venipuncture; however, her tone and behavior was abrupt and unnecessary. I wanted to note her behavior toward me without informing her that I'm a Nurse. It was as though she were challenging me to call her on her behavior. Christina appears to behave as though she's in control and can be abusive as she pleases. These are challenging times, but Christina it doesn't mean you're irreplaceable.

My doctor's office has called them at least five (5) times asking about my results and never once returned the call. After three weeks, this has become despicable. I would not recommend LabCorp to anyone.

Beware!
August 23, 2021

I had a blood extraction done at a Miami location. Apparently, the technician couldn't find my vein so she literally stabbed me. My arm was black, blue, bruised and swollen for over one week. I reported this to LabCorp and a supervisor was supposed to call me within 48 hours. One week later and I haven't heard from anyone. They apparently don't give a damn. Beware!
