I received a bill from LabCorp, which was not an issue until after the payment was sent they continued to say I was past due and now on the third physical bill from them the bill was a collection notice. If the payment is sent within 60 days of the first bill maybe you shouldn't start sending your clients to collections to get a whole $50. Sorry excuse for a legit corporation.
Arrived at 8 am at LabCorp and had to wait over 15 min just to sign in as only 1 out of 3 check-in computers were working. Sadly, most of the elderly had no idea had to sign in and scan their documents. The waiting room was full and there was no spot to sit. Was there with my elderly aunt getting her bloodwork drawn after a recent hospital discharge (ICU) for Diabetic ketoacidosis. Having had to fast since 6 pm the night before her blood sugar was 38 and dangerously low. The staff was curt and rude when asked if she could be seen soon or if we would have to leave as she was faint, sweaty, and shaky. The receptionist told me there was nothing she could do, and the wait was at a minimum of an hour. Her tone was rude and dismissive not only to me but to most of the people in the waiting room. On top of taking the morning off from work to take my aunt, we had to leave after 1/2 hour in fear she would go into a diabetic danger zone. There needs to be a better system in place in situations like this! Increase your staff, get your computer systems working, and more importantly train your staff on compassion and common courtesy in dealing with the elderly and their specific needs. Our experience in your facility was substandard at best and the waiting room & bathroom were in need of a good cleaning.
I went lab corp at Providence Hospital location in Washington DC. The tech was female and she stabbed me in my hand with a very large needle and I ask her to use the butterfly needle. Now my hand feels like i'm having spasms in it. I will be contacting her supervisor. No more lab corp for me. She also bruised my arm trying to draw blood
I went to the labcorp office at 2601 SW 37th Ave, Suite 501-502, Miami, FL, ******* today. The lady that was drawing my blood was not very gentle or kind. The office manager Amaryllis was amazing! I had several vials drawn and I have VERY small and difficult veins. One of my veins collapsed. Amaryllis came into my room and was able to draw blood and was so so kind and caring! I was very thankful for her today! She is perfect at her job
Went to get blood work and hurine sample. I could not at the time give hurine sample but she did take the blood. I asaked if my doctor had to give another script to have the sample, and she replied yes. As i left my wife said why couldn't she just give you a cup and bring it back later. So i knocked on the door and asked if this can be done. Yes she replied, but never offered to to this. This person had quite and unhappy attitude in all respects. Big attitude problem and wasn't afraid to show it.
I rescheduled my day to go 30 minutes away (NOT close by) for an appt I made online, scheduled for 2:15 pm. I checked in at 2:13 while still in my car, as instructed. The text message response told me that I needed to go in (so that piece was a LIE). I'm disabled and often have a hard time walking... It took me 15 mins to find the place -- the address doesn't exist. (I went up and down the block a few times and ended up FAR from my car.) Signs finally helped once inside the hospital. Yes, this place is IN the hospital, but in the back of the building, across the street, and down a floor. The signs only worked for part of that walk -- MOST of it had no signs whatsoever... When I finally got there, the door said "Labcorp." I signed in with my ID, they called me up, and said I had NO APPOINTMENT. I said I do and showed them confirmation. They repeated NO APPOINTMENT. They also said they had NO APPOINTMENTS TODAY, online scheduling or otherwise. Then they told me to leave. My would-be employer said I had 3 days to get this done -- The email didn't show up until Day 3. Not sure what to do next. This experience was below BAD.
If I could give a "zero" rating to this company I will. This morning at 7 a. M I checked in the Labcorp located in Mason Corbin Ct, Ft Myers, FL *******. At 8 am they called me and asked me to for my lab order. Without seeing my card she told me that they didn't accept BCBS cards. My card is a PPO BCBS Arizona card. So since when a PPO health card is not good enough for a lab? So, I called customer service and to my surprise, they told me that they received all kinds of insurance cards. I fe
The absolute worst. Mr. Evans drew my blood and did the worst job ever. He needs to go back to school. My arm is black and blue and purple. I will never go back there ever. Am v
I had to wait for an hour and a half with the appointment. Very disappointed. Unfriendly and slow stuff
Went to Labcorp which was in a pharmacy. Show up@ 0700 for 0730 appt. Pharmacy didnt open til 0810. No one knew why. Finally get in. I had 2 orders for labwork. Lab tech looks at it and says i need urine. Hands me a jar. When i come out she took the two people that had appts after me. So i wait. Finally she tells me she cant do one of the orders cause they dont take my insurance. Unbelievable. No one told me that when i made the appt. Then i said well let me get the other bloodwork order which i needed done for surgery. She asks me for the workers comp form. All i had was the order for bloodwork. I asked what form. She cpukdnt tell me. She called someone on the phone, they were gonna send it over but i would have to get it filled out by WC and then come back. I was so annoyed because i had an appt with my surgeon also today. I left. On my eay out she asks me if i want to take my small jar of urine with me. Labcorp was a total joke. Finally went back home called WC they electronically sent to to a competitor of lab corp. I got there was in and out in about 8 minutes. Never again will i go to Labcorp.
I have always been told that I'm a "difficult stick", by phlebotomists and I am left with a black and blue arm several days after la work. Until my visit at LabCorp. I had the most pleasant experience this morning at the Rockville Center location. Ms Glennys Howard was able to complete this task in less than two minutes. She is exceptionally professional and pleasantly gentle.
Thank you, Glennys!
What a nightmare of a job! From the moment I joined I had to hear about every single sketchy thing that went on in the company and with the higher ups from my coworkers. Their pay offers are horrible and I've even seen supervisors go in and illegally change time cards to make it look like my coworker didn't work over time when he absolutely did. They don't care about their employees and will allow you to work in heinous conditions without offer of pay raise or bonus. Not once but TWICE I've had paychecks which are supposed to be received biweekly not show up for four weeks! This company is only concerned with itself and how much money they can make for their higher ups, even at the cost of their patients and employees. Do not get suckered into working for this hellish place and these selfish people. Run while you still can.
I go to this lab often since the onset of the pandemic and I must say they have handled the appts without a hitch. I "always" make an appt and check-in from my car to limit the time in the office and exposure to others. It has worked out perfect. Average time in the office is about 15 mins from start to finish and I really appreciate this. I want to make a special shout out to one technician in particular, Dipti, she is a very hard worker and a great multi-taker. She wears many hats and really deserves the praise. I hope you recognize this because without her I am not sure how this office could run and stay open. I would be very disappointed if for some reason this office were to shut down.
Thank you Dipti, for taking such good care of me through a very trying time for so many!
Had my blood drawn this morning and got the nastiest bruise ever in my life experience. I think I will go somewhere else next time.
Poor organization of limited space and patient thru put. Second lady was extremely rude. Paperwork error on their part and made me pay by waiting twice.
I went for blood test at sumerset new jerset labcop> i was very unsestfied with the specialy client representetive who was helping very unproffesionaly. Very rude employees. Unfriendly staffs, rude, poor english accent. They making patients check in coputer system again and again.
Don't Ever Go To This LabCorp!
Address:

Rancho Cucamonga, California *******
I went to this location at 7:00AM to get a SAME DAY STAT lab done. The doctor who ordered it is in Utah which is 1-hour ahead of California. The instructions on the lab order were to send results back to the doctors fax number. About 4 hours later I got a lengthy text from his nurse whom I communicate with about everything on what my purposes of seeing this doctor is. She tells me she had reached out to LabCorp and they had ran the WRONG TEST! I was very concerned as I know I emailed the test that my doctor had put on his patient portal for me. I double checked everything to make sure I didn't email the wrong test! Both me and his nurse were stumped. She told me that the order they had was for something else than what I gave them and they told me that the order in the system showed another test. It turns out all they did was look at the history of the same Doctor that was ordering these labs and just assumed that it was for the same test. I guess! They didn't even look at what the order was that I had brought in the day I came in. THIS PISSED ME OFF SO BAD! Needless to say me going in at 7AM in hopes of getting the results back to my doctors office in plenty of time were of no luck because of this MISTAKE! I do not plan on going to this location again!
I had blood work done at my doctor's office and they sent the samples to LabCorp for testing. I owed $29 which I failed to pay in what they considered an acceptable amount of time. You'd think I had a personal loan or redit card through them with the wording on the collection letter they sent me. They attacked me on a personal level, saying "We did not ignore your doctor's request for lab work or question your credit, yet you have ignored our request for payment." Seriously?!?! For $29?!?!? Big $#*! YOU to LabCorp for their way of thinking. This is not how you treat people who are having testing done for health related issues. You have no idea what they could be going through. Absolutely disgusting.
I sure hope that whopping $29 was worth you kicking someone who is already down and struggling due to their health related issues. You should be ashamed. A lesson in compassion and how to PROPERLY address outstanding bills would do you well.
Front desk was very rude to older people, yelling at them to sit down, go down the hall to register, etc. several were visible shaken and confused.
No reason to be yelling at people using canes and walkers, absolutely needs training in working with older adults. COMPASSION and care goes a long way.
Often left the receiving area, patients stacked up and appointments were running a half hour late. People taken out of order and appointment times. Balsam Way in Littleton office on Monday Feb 28,2022, not the blonde lady, the other lady. I have never seen anything like this anywhere and I hope I don't again. I was embarassed to see how this lady was treating people. Please, someone send her to class so she can learn how to work with the public. She is a monster.
It was a great relief to get my lab results just a little over 24 hours after I submitted my sample at my local Walgreens in Albuqueruqe, NM! I was put in a real bind by another lab, Pathology Consultants of New Mexico (with whom I had made prior arrangements), who failed to be open on the day I was REQUIRED to submit my sample for Covid testing so I could have surgery later in the week. But Lab Corp staff and technicians came through for me as well as my local Walgreens who collected my sample.
I understand some who have gone to a local Lab Corp to have lab work done have had problems, but their service through Walgreens was outstanding! So, I recommend if your local Walgreens uses Lab Corp for Covid testing, give it a try!
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
