Zero stars to give them for treating me like a piece of scrap after being with them for 2.5 years and never experienced such a bad experience with any carrier in the US but experienced after coming to Canada! WHEN ASKED IF THERE ARE OFFERS THEY SAID NO AND ALSO WHEN ASKED IF THERE ARE ANY CHARGES FOR CANCELLATION, THEY SAID NO! After switching to ROGERS they came with Offers of credit of $300 and when I said NO, they sent the bill of 279.81 with Tab Bonus Debit - Cancellation and Tab Payoff - Lump Sum! INSANE SERVICE AND GREEDY MANAGEMENT - NO LOYALTY TO CUSTOMERS at all. NO TRANSPARENCY, BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES WITH THEM, AND DON'T BELIEVE THOSE TAB CREDITS!
Avoid Koodo at all costs. The company as a whole is a scam and their contracts are filled with hidden fees and charges that you will have to pay for. Written in the smallest text because they know you're likely going to miss it. They put these deals on display, knowing you're going to sign off on everything from the excitement. This is so wrong.
I got a 480$ phone and was making monthly payments. Phone was purchased from the Pen Centre location. Paid the rest of the phone off (360$) before I cancelled. Phone is cancelled and they are now charging me 487$. What a scam. No one told me this when i bought the phone or cancelled it. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to never go through Koodo.
I was charged 735$ in roaming fees for replying ADD instead of TRAV, if you are a koodo client make sure you reply the correct words or you will be penalized for wordplay!
I was waiting activating my account for 2 weeks! This company is sucks ever! Customer service s a joke! Then they send me bill for $150 for NOTHING!
After 1 hour on a phone with Koodo and explain that I never ever use this number, representative were rude, finally after argue they cancel my account!

I have be with Koodo for eight years now and have always been completely satisfied with my dealings.
Their plans are very reasonable, tabs are a bonus and I believe I get a fair and honest deal.

If you ever need real customer service or support they will do everything possible to prevent you from being able to talk to a person. The chatbot is useless, probably deliberately so. My mobile internet was down and I needed to go back to the office in order to use the wifi so I could waste my time with the chatbot. Never did get a callback. I will make moving to another mobile provider a priority this weekend as I need the services I pay for to work and I need customer support to be available when the services I pay for do not work. What a concept. Go $#*! yourself, Koodo. What a joke of a company.
My payment card on file expired. Kudu sends a message to my children who have phones which of course never told me. They called me and told me and I paid it right away. Then they sent the report to the credit bureau that I didn't pay my bill. Koodo sucks. Then try to get a live person on the phone. Good luck
I tried online. That only gave me what other people had written about similar problems with my particular phone. I tried calling their help number. A computer said they would call me back. They called back with no one on their end of the phone. That happened 3 times. So I went to their store. Nice lady but no help. I would NOT recommend KOODO.
I have been with koodo for over 10 years, owe them nothing. So they call and ask about ordering a 3rd line. So ordered a new phone for my mom, phone comes and no charger, so I call and they say it does not come with one, but has a USB cable. Problem is it is a new type so every adapter I have will not work. So I am trying to set this phone up and someone else's information keeps popping up, took phone to another store koodo outlet, and they said it was used, I bought new so what's up. So talked with koodo and they said they would take it back and send a new one. Will take a couple of weeks, so I said with all the driving around and BS from them they should throw in the charger, they said noway, and I was talking to a supervisor so I stated that I have been a customer for 10 years, and they try to give me a used phone. So I told the guy I would switch providers, and guess what I did, then koodo has the balls to call and say what can we do to get you back with us. I will not tell you the rest of the conversation. Stay away from these guys, there are better services out there.

Koodo customer service is the absolute worst. The only reason I lasted 20 years is because someone with authority would admit a mistake and eventually fix it to what I was promised in the first place... other representatives do not have a clue about anything and just keep transferring you until your so upset you just end up paying the f&%k up to just get away from there obvious attempts to scam you anyway possible. The koodo Hub is the biggest joke. I never got it to work properly inspite all the "customer service" the multiple sim cards the driving to town to replace the dud. The last 5 years with koodo has been hell for me. Now I have to pay $233 dollars for a hub they just forgot to send bills for until April 20th... this hub is 20 a month and somehow I owe $233 and not one email before April 20th asking if I have forgotten to pay my koodo... no text messages with amount owing either... and I am told by 4 representatives that it's all my fault and regardless of the hub not working and not being used i still had a active phone number. I will never recommend koodo to anyone or any business I work with. Im even starting to regret going to telus because they said my koodo was closed and obviously it was not. I have PTSD as well as a personality disorder and it's pretty bad when koodo keeps screwing me with hidden charges and representatives who are dishonest and lie just to get you signed up. I sure hope I didn't make a bigger mistake going to telus. Only time will tell I guess.
Never ever get a phone with this company I just got out cause they offer great quality services but in reality once u agree n but a 1000 dollar phone they give u very $#*!y quality n expect u 2 pay it or leave but after u pay them off 4 the phone so either way they screw u in2 the hole or in my cases with their $#*!y services harassment charges from contacts on my phone due 2 freezing n over sending so I ergue every1 of u 2 get away from koodo b4 they screw u over 2
Been a customer for 12 years. Lost job and missed payment. Called to make payment arrangements, but after speaking with 3 different people and 1 and a half hours later, they still demanded full payment. When asked why payments couldn't be stretched out, manager said "if we wait too long you won't honor it" - WOW. Thanks for telling me what I'm like without even knowing me. Switching to Telus immediately.
Am no longer a koodoer. Lost my fone on an overseas flight, but got it back after a long process that took all of the 90 days for which I suspended my # and account. Personally went to Koodo Kits Vancouver store as I got close to the 90th day. After waiting half hour was assured by Marc that I would not lose my #--total BS: on the 91st day got fone, but number irretrievably gone (thanks Marc!)--so I am also gone from doo-doo, and am warning others. I regret to admit that I was the "mark" in dealing with this "who gives a damn" outfit.

Terrible customer service. For context I work for a company that has a corporate discount, which was denied due to a missing header (because you know, a lot of information is stored in those headers right? Proof of employment was sent, guess that doesn't count for anything). Thing is I've been apart of the EPP (exclusive partner program) for the past 2 years all I'm trying to do is renew it. But still even several emails later they still deny me for renewal. Here's the kicker, I have 2 colleagues who used the SAME application I did and they were approved within 2 days for the discount. How does one even explain that? Needless to say I'm pretty upset, I feel singled out and left with perhaps finding a new mobile carrier to call home.
Got talked into a deal before Xmas, agreed to an offer to receive 2 sims with unlimited calls and texts and 12 g data on each. Received a $240 bill end of January. Too many hidden fees I was not told about. Very disappointed... way better service providers out there for a reasonable price. Would not recommend Koodo at all!
Don't trust this company they will loot money. Especially in a long-distance calls they don't have any good facility to track long distance minutes.we need to write down the minutes after long distance calls. Customer doesn't get any notification even we can't see any time limit koodo web. Most of other providers giving long distance tracking facility for their their customers, but not koodo everybody careful about this. No good customer service. Technology developed but they don't give the right facility. With out long distance minutes notification koodo loot my $900

Guys let me tell you something I had the worst experience with this company, if you're thinking about joining please don't. I tried calling them several times no help look at the images attached to this review my bills was 500+ up to 700$ a month mind you it's just calls, messages, and internet like wow! I can't wait to cancel my account!

15 gig for 70 a month koodo and Telus is 40 gig a month for 80 wtf!? They are the same fcking company! I hate every fvking cell phone company in Canada and the monopolies that hold them! No deals, Canadians are morons!
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
