Entered the store about 12:30pm on 11/19/15. Had to go to the very rear of the store, to customer service to pick up the online order. There were 6 customers in front of me, and one service clerk. After 5 minutes, there were 6 more customers behind me in line. The clerk then called for assistance, and 2 more associates arrived to help. After I was called, it still took about 3 - 4 minutes for some other clerk to locate my purchase, and then to check me out. I wouldn't do this again, unless I had a full day to kill. Not at all convenient. Much easier to shop in-store and check out at a cashier, than to go to customer service, where the transactions are more complex/time consuming (i. E., refunds, exchanges, bad mdse, complaints, etc.). Never again.
We had loads of problems with their credit card website. My wife uses their card for the discounts, and we pay it off in total. Except many times the payment doesn't register. Finally the last time we called customer service and the CSR was as rude and crude as we ever heard. So we closed our account. She thought that she had hung up on us, then went on to laugh and tell her coworkers "Good! I'm glad they be gone!"
They have an assortment of things for kitchen, living, and even a good selection of shoes and clothes. They always have deals going on, and the stores are usually pretty clean and well stocked.
I love Kohls and you can get lots off with their coupons and Kohls cash. I would give 5 stars but I don't like how you have to pay return shipping costs when you return an item. Most places like target, nordstroms and JC Penneys pay return shipping... If Kohls did I think I would order from them more often.
I have shopped in their stores and online. I have never had a bad experience, but I think they are a little pricey.
Probably the best place to still get a decent pair of jeans from Levi's that won't cost you $100. In Europe... you will be happy to pay US prices for these jeans!

I like kohl's. I go into the store a lot. For back to school clothes shopping, I saw a lot of things I liked for my daughter on their website. We went to a kohl's store to shop, and they hardly had any of the things that were on their site. So instead, I ordered online. The clothes took SO LONG to get to me. They use FedEx Smartpost apparently, but do not tell you this when you check out. FedEx Smartpost is lowest priority for both FedEx and the USPS. It also says that items may be packaged separately if necessary, but I didn't expect to get 20 different tracking numbers for each individual item! And they were all sent to different random FedEx Smartpost locations and different states! It was so hard to keep track of what had come and what had not, and I had individual items arriving over the course of weeks. Will never order online from them again!
This site is expensive and the quality is not that good. The site freezes a lot as well. If you have kohls cash and return an item forget getting your kohls cash back. I have also been sent damaged items more than once.
I ordered some nightgowns and had them shipped to the store. My order was ready in 4 hours just as they stated. I went to the store the next morning and they were ready.
The only thing I go into Kohls for is to look through the clearance racks. No way could I afford the items otherwise. And the jeans do not last... I get better quality of jeans from Walmart!
I paid 12.97 for seven months for something I did not realize I was getting. The amount was small so I missed it on my credit card statement. Kohl and Walmart should be ashamed for being part of this scam. They did cancel the service when I called but how about all that money that was wasted. I login into the website for the first time today. It was asking me for my personal information which tell me I never signed into the account. I should be refunded all my money. Ron
In the past kohl's cash & other discounts that were a day past were honored which I loved! Ur discounts r minimal currently. I use 2 get discounts in the mail all the time which I don't get anymore the last 1 I got was 15% what a joke. U no longer honor old kohl's cash which is not helpful 2 me a grandmother who shops only periodically. I use 2 have a reason 2 shop kohl's and it would help with u honoring my kohl's cash & other discounts especially at birthdays & christmas. I have no reason 2 shop at kohls as the quality is no better than shopko or Walmart and since I get no other insentives i will likely stop shopping at what use 2 be a very good store.
Kohls has been my go to for fashion and home items for years. A quality product combined with exceptional savings makes for a highly satisfying shopping experience and customer retention.
I go in often to browse the sales racks for my son and myself. Its worth it if its on sale, not so much at their usual prices.
Things there overpriced. Lady signed me up for a kohls card worth $300 that i didn't even want and had to make my fiance go cancel it. I like there shoes though.
I bought a Sketchers pair box-priced@ $75, on sale for $69 but within 6 mos of wear, the sole came unglued from the shoe. I did not have my receipt, however, the Kohl's receipts boast, "HASSLE-FREE RETURNS, ANYTIME, ANY REASON... "no receipt, no problem..." - "we can look up your purchase and give you a full refund, or even exchange."
I returned my defective shoe, was denied an even exchange with the statement, "this shoe is in back-stock and no longer offered..." thus, no even price exchange, only an in-store credit. In fact, I was offered less than 1% of the box-priced $75 - I was offered $6 in-store credit with the statement: "you are given the lowest sale price of the shoes when you return without a receipt and an even exchange is not possible." I asked Kohl's "when did you sell this shoe@ $6 and where?" Kohl's did not extend the courtesy of a reply. Kohl's previously said "our system" fixes the pricing for an in-store credit [$6]; mind boggling, as if some rogue computer or artificial intelligence in the "system" took over any common sense practiced by Kohl's - the policy is set by the person who programmed the "system" - which, cheats the customer of a refund and is contrary to a fair and open disclosure announced in the return policy - "hassle-free"? Only if you're will to get less than one percent 1% of what you paid.
Kohl's has had an opportunity to reply to me but has declined any reply or answers.

Everything is on sale 100% of the time. In other words, the regular prices are grossly inflated and not real.
The quality of their items is poor.
I do like that they put items on clearance, which makes them finally available for what they are worth.
Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
