Overcharged for online purchased. Told those are pending charges in case not enough in my bank account. WHAT? If you took the amount already, why do you need to charge my $25.55 MORE to see if the money is STILL there? VERY SNEAKY. Broken English speaking reps, but courteous. Always telling you thank you and sorry this happened. But NEVER explaining why and DID NOT refund me! Opened a case through my bank. UNBELIEVABLE! THE CUST REPS CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND SIMPLE MATH? RETURNING ITEMS, NEVER PURCHASING AGAIN AND REVIEWING ALL OVER THE INTERNET. BEWARE SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS AT KOHL'S!

I opened a Kohl's account 3 years ago to establish credit. I have excellent payment history. My goal was $3000 credit availability. I paid off my account in full 10 days ago. According to Kohls credit online, my payment posted 8 days ago and cleared my bank 7 days ago. Yet my account still shows a negative balance. My goal was to raise my score from fair to good, so that I can get a car loan with a better interest rate this week. But tomorrow the credit agencies will report my current score, and because Kohl's wont update my credit status, my credit report will reflect a negative balance. That, plus the fact that I haven't been able to use my Kohl's credit to make any purchases because it is showing that I dont have any available credit, even though I paid almost $3000 ten days ago. For that, I'm out. I will cut my card in half, open a Macy's account and boycott Kohl's for life.

Ridiculous

So I was in Kohl's today shopping because ordering online was acting extremely difficult, so while I was there looking for an area rug, which they didn't have any in the store. When I was at the register the cashier told me that I could save money if I got a charge there. I was reluctant cuz I don't like charge cards, but I was convinced and she said that if I shopped only today online or in the store I will get 35% off anything I bought. So I tried to get a rug online the area rug I had originally went in there for. Well the information she gave me to hold me over till my credit card comes in the mail won't work online. So I spent the next hour trying to order two things and it kept telling me that my credit card information was invalid so how am I supposed to get 35% off if I use my Kohl's charge if it's not valid? So I called the customer service number, they're not in, they tell you that after you listen to the phone voice recording for I don't know 15 minutes. And their products are overpriced anyway in my opinion, that's why they give you all these coupons and Kohl's cash because they want you to feel like you're saving something, but really you're not because everything's marked up. They have really nice things honestly they do, but they're overpriced and all this hassle trying to order something and never even getting the products is ridiculous! So when I get ahold of someone in the morning I'm going to cancel my charge card what a waste of time & they ran my for nothing

Returns NOT easy

I returned a faux-leather Rosetti purse today (too small; not enough pockets) with receipt. The lady asked me if I had the Rosetti tag. I said "no". She proceeded to recreate the tag--WRONG! Deal with the customer in front of you FIRST then print the tag. I demanded my refund. She finally "woke up" and gave it to me. The lady next to me, seemed to be arguing with the clerk about her refund also.

For two months I did NOT receive a statement for $33.90 for a charge in July 2019. Then I had a charge on September 8 for 38.00 totaling $71.90.
On September 9 out of the blue a woman from Kohls calls and said I owed $143.99 and it needs to be paid immediately. She wanted my debit card number. I hung up.
I called kohl's customer service to verify and clear it up if necessary. I was told $143.99 was the balance that included $54 in late fees. I told the woman I wanted the late fees waived because I never received a statement but I did get the deluge of Kohl's advertisements. She waived the late fees but since she waived them I had to pay a fee of $95 to clear my account.
I paid $95 using my debit card just to get rid of them. I have never heard of paying a penalty like this. (Michelle #6327 confirmation number **************).

One of my favorite stores

My last two orders had to be returned because if sizing issues. Customer service was so helpful in returning the orders, placing the new orders for me, and adding free shipping as an added benefit. They also made sure that I got the items for the same price I originally ordered them for, and making sure that I received my Kohls cash back. I received the new order within two days. I shop at Kohls constantly, and they have never disappointed me with their customer service, products, kohls cash, and discounts. They go above and beyond in any situation to make things right, and to make their customers happy.

I made an online order and they charged my card but the order stayed cancelled.
And now they are not refunding the amount saying that they have not charged.
When I checked my account the amount was deducted.
When I contacted the customer care they are not even understanding what am I saying.
They say that they have refunded when my bank account does not show it.
Bunch of incapable people sitting in the customer care bench. They just say what they taught about and not seeing what is happening

I contacted the bank and bank is asking for a confirmation from Kohls on the refund made so that I can get the amount back, but Kohls is not giving that as well

If I could rate lower I would. Never have I experienced such a gross display of service. I was purchasing 4 pairs of pants. After asking about a sale price "buy 1 get 1 for $1" that was on display I showed the clerk who proceeded to argue that it must belong to other merchandise. The promo card was prominently displayed in many surrounding items of the Dockers shelves, and he said very openly that I need to learn how to read because the digital display was different. I asked for a manager who was standing right there and just got a blank stare. The neighboring cashier found the whole thing funny, laughing and adding insulting commentary. He'd already run into the back of me with push carts which he found hilarious. In no instance was there an apology from anyone. Needless to say I left and will not purchase ANYTHING from ANY kohl's ever again. It's bad enough their merchandising is a total wreck to shop but I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like this!

Pretty cool store

Really cool webpage overall, the only downside is that sometimes the webpage really gets slow. Besides that I've never had a problem with returning a purchase at Kohl's, even if I can't find the original receipts.

I bought an air purifier and used my $30 Kohl's cash as part of the purchase.

When I returned the air purifier, I was supposed to get my $30 back, which never happened.

I wrote to Michelle Gass, the CEO and she had six different people email me about this matter and nothing was ever done; Her emoyee's gave me a song and dance that it was on my credit card. I just called and spoke to Ron in Mexico City at 10:02 am on August 6th. There is no Kohl's cash and my credit card, Michelle Gass's employees said it would be on my Kohl's credit card.

They provide good value for money and decent deals, and a really convoluted reward system that makes you come back. Kohls is addictive. Good human (finally) customer service on the phone, although the chat server wouldn't connect. This software gives me headaches.

The site has been having various usability and technical problems throughout the years. I order merchandise to be picked up in stores. Sometimes, it tells me an item is available in a store, but then when paying, I get an error that it's not. And it's still shown as available. Sometimes, after completing a purchase for an item in a store, I get an email "sold out". You would think that if an item is sold out, you can offer the next option - ship to the store. Wrong! The software doesn't care and you can't modify the order. And ion top of it, it messes up your rewards.

I had signed up for paperless bills and Kohl's never sent the bill to my email, then sent me to collections for a small balance I completely forgot about because I hardly ever use the credit card, I used it for the discount. They did however send me a "collection" email after they destroyed my credit by sending me to a collections agency. Once I received the collection email which was flagged in my in-box I immediately paid the balance. If I had received any bills I would have paid it immediately. I need to refinance my house and get a new car, now I have to wait for my credit to go back up from the 40+ points it dropped. I am cutting my credit card and will NEVER shop HERE ever again! They want to screw you and they don't care... I called and the customer service reps aren't helpful. Thanks a lot Kohl's, I am spreading the word to everyone... DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I use Coupon Cabin quite frequently. Not only for the great coupons but you can get cash back on top of reduced prices. If you don't use Coupon Cabin your missing out on some great deals.

Kohl's charge card is NOT a safe card to use online. They don't follow payment card industry standard to verify the billing address.

I placed an order of less than $100 with my Kohl's charge card.
The system auto filled with a very SIMILAR but WRONG shipping address and BILLING address. The transaction went through with the wrong billing address.
I talked to the representative regarding the issue, Joshua with ID 9I5Q, he told me Kohl's charge doesn't verify the billing address for online transactions.
I have made many online transactions with other cards and know that billing address need to be 100% match the address with card for all cards, even a typo will not go through. Credit card companies use this to protect the consumers, that is industry standards. Kohl's charge is the only card not follow the industry standard.
I will never use this card to do online shopping. It is potentially NOT SAFE!

I don't ever usually review companies, but I've had so many problems with Kohls.com that I have finally decided that maybe other people would benefit from hearing some of my experiences. I almost always have nothing but trouble placing an order with Kohls.com! They send me emails offering me discounts and say they give you "Kohls CASH" for your orders, but when you try to apply them, they NEVER work! Then you have to call in to the call center and hope that you get a helpful rep that can finish placing your order for you. Otherwise you just waste a ton of time and it is all for nothing. It is not worth the hassle. Save time and order elsewhere online since they try to lure you in with CASH BACK that never works and your reward for all the trouble is nothing but more headaches! And then to add insult to injury, if you actually can get the order placed, the quality of the items and packaging are HORRIBLE! On more than one occasion, I have ordered shoes and the boxes came completely ripped up and smashed. Once I even received a shoe box that had holes stabbed throughout it like a child (or maybe a disgruntled employee) punched it through with their pencil repeatedly. I received a top with the ink tags still on it and had to drive an hour away to the closest store to take it back. I have ordered three of the same exact kind of tops and every one is sized so drastically different that there is no way that they are even in the same range, but when you check the size guide on their website it is all the same. The guides don't match the brands or the actual items, just a generic guide that is meaningless. Unless you live next to a Kohls and have lots of time to run back and forth for returns, don't waste your time or your money. They charge you for mail in returns even if it is there fault!

First, this is of course a totally legitimate website. My only issues with their webdesign is sometimes it loads slowly, and sometimes it is hard to open links in a new tab. I've used both ship-to-store and ship-to-home and both work great. If you don't already have a coupon, be sure to check coupon sites as they often have discounts. You can return any online purchase to any Kohl's retail store (not sure how many days you have to do this). I've gone through the in-store return process several times, and have not had any problems.

I was short on time and thought oh I can pick up a few things at Kohl's and save time, I took my time made some choices a couple skirts I Iiked I get notification ill receive a text give my c. F. info. I get said text it says part of your order ready for pick up you'll receive another when the other part is ready. I waited 2 days and nothing so I go in and was told thats weird I guess they couldn't find it. You. Should prob tell people all of its not available! So let me now go and shop for what I need and have literally no time to do it
Thanks but no thanks Kohl's by the way I'll never trust your process again. Very disappointed in your online shipping practices! Walmart is beating you on this and that is sad! Disappointed in Ga.

One of the worst eCommerce experiences I have had. I also called customer service and they hung up on me. Kohl's you need to get this fixed and hire better people! The entire experience was frustrating and after speaking with an incompetent sales associate it made it very difficult day.

Sorry, I was a fan, not so much anymore.

Last year i ordered two European pillows and with cotton and lace covers for my couch for pick up at Kohl's. I ordered them for pickup because i'm busy and wanted to make sure I could just pick up my order and come home. Right after I paid it showed me that I would have to go to two different locations to pick up my order. I canceled my order right at finding this out. The troutdale location canceled my order, the mill plain location did not. I have spent way too much time on the phone trying to take care of this only to be told they would have to open an investigation. It's been 9 months. No one has ever called me, kohls owes me like 70 bucks and I'm sure i'll never see it. They are thieves do NOT do business with them. Horrible customer service, I hope they go out of business.
