I ordered a washing machine about 10 days ago. It was supposed to arrive in 1 or 2 business days. From the day I ordered that would have been either Friday or Monday. Late on Monday I got a message that the item wasn't in stock (a little late for a notice like that, right?!). They promised delivery on Monday a week later. I was home all day to receive the delivery. Nothing came. No news, no info, just a blank tracking link. After leaving a message on Tuesday (because you can't reach them after 5PM) all we got was "item out of stock again". Terrible customer experience! I wasted a whole day waiting for absolutely no reason and I still do not have a washing machine. The order has now been cancelled and I've gone to a different company.

Asked... can you believe... for a Statutory Declaration because I did not receive my purchase!
Never heard such rubbish!
Thank goodness for pay pal who proceeded to get me a refund!
They should not be selling and god help you if something goes wrong with your purchase!
I had proof of not receiving my purchase and yet still they argued I should obtain a legal document Stat Declaration!

Kogan First SCAM

I am infuriated that I was signed up to Kogan First without my understanding nor knowledge, then charged $59 without my authorisation.

Customer service has indicated that I must have selected a button during a purchase, but I have no knowledge of doing so.

I have also reviewed the invoice that they sent out with that purchase, and it DOES NOT SAY that I have been charged, nor will be charged money for Kogan First. The invoice does not say that I have selected a box for Kogan First money to be deducted from my account. Nor does is say anywhere on that invoice that I will be charged at a future date. This appears to contravene our consumer law in Australia.

If I have purchased something, my understanding of consumer law according to conversations with my lawyers, is that I should have been notified in an invoice that I have spent $59 on the product "Kogan First".

Kogan have not notified me of this in my initial invoice that I have signed up to Kogan First, and that $59 has, or will be, deducted from my account.

This is an outrageous practice that appears to be deceptive selling of a product that is not associated with the initial purchase.

The manner in which they get you to purchase this Kogan First product can easily result from the way they have set up their web page, and App. So it would seem to be a deliberate act to sign people up to a product that they may not want, and then continue to deduct money from your account forever.

I cannot even cancel my Kogan First Membership through the app, I cannot delete my credit card or PayPal account from their system. They are locked. This leads me to question the integrity of this company.

I have purchased quite a few items from Kogan over the years, but this has left me feeling completely scammed. They have lost me as a customer.

I will be referring this to the ACCC and Fair Trading tomorrow for reveiw of this practice, as it comes across as misleading and deceptive selling.

I can only hope that Kogan are forced to review their behaviour and are pulled into line so that more of their customers aren't ripped off as I feel that I have been.

Cheap crap... crapier service

Products die shortly after warranty periods. Kogan does everything it can to block and prevent any responsibility to repair or replace. Spend the money buy decent products.

No help at all

I can't access my account as I "accessed my account in a new device". Contacted Kogan, after many emails later, told me they would refer the issue to their IT team. A month later, issue not resolved yet and now no replies to my emails at all. I still have $200+ money on my Kogan account that's why I want access to my account.

If I could give a score of less the 1 star I would. Customer service is non existant. After my account was hacked and items purchased they were uncontactable for days and then couldn't even help with my account. Absolutely atrocious service.

I purchased a well priced multi pack of clothing, free postage. The item arrived very late and of course it was the wrong size. I checked my email confirmation. No sizing on the email to determine if I made a mistake.
I checked the website and did another trial purchase in the correct size but at pre checkout and cart no sizing was shown. I did this with all there multi packs and no size came up but their single packs showed the size. I explained this to Kogan Help and simply the merry go round started that i ordered the wrong size. I showed them the email order confirmation but they would not admit any wrong doing and to sort it with the seller. The seller finally said and agreed they only supply the item selection web page but Kogan supply the checkout pages and confirmation page so not his fault.
30 pathetically vomiting apologetic pacifying emails later from Kogan in denial as i would not give up I finally returned the goods and i paid return item postage. I contacted PayPal as Kogan then wanted to send a partial refund to cover the free original postage. Never buy anything from these stores without Pay Pal. Pay Pal have arranged a full refund and I wonder how many issues there customers have with Kogan. Simply Kogan will wear you down, make you feel ill and ruin every day you fight them as fighting a brick is fruitless. Fight them with Pay Pal they are excellent. Better still make a Pay Pal purchase at a store with morals and true customer support.
Strangely when i tell my pathetic story to anyone they all say ohhhhh don't by from Kogan or $#*! Smith.
After writing this review I tested their multipack purchase now several week later and guess what, no sizing at checkout. I feel for the next poor bugger.

Kogan first member read the fine print completely admits to no refund of $60 membership fee even if you cancell before end of trial period unless you switch off the auto renewal button it's a complete deception

I purchased a phone from Kogan and immediately it began overheating while charging. I asked Kogan to provide a replacement phone and they refused. They insisted that I send it to them for testing. After I did that they returned it and said that it was not getting too hot and that it was normal to heat up. I contacted the manufacturer who said that the phone should only slightly heat up. Kogan refused to swap for a new phone. I will never again buy anything from Kogan

Bad delivery, ignorant customer service

Sofa, lost in post? No wasn't even sent and customer service keeps sending generic responses and not answering and questions. I even connected Kogan with the delivery company to sort things out, they are reluctant to do anything.

My washing machine was ruined in the QLD floods. I ordered one through kogan as the website said it would leave the warehouse within 2 days. That was 8 days ago. Its still "processing" in the warehouse apparently. Totally impossible to contact customer service. It doesn't exist. My request for a callback has been ignored.
Using the app, a computer generated message says there may be delays to flood affected areas. Why? The roads are all open. Shouldn't people be told this before placing their order?
Just searched the website again for the same machine and lo and behold... Its in stock and ready to leave the warehouse in 2 business days. And that's after entering my post code. No warning about delivery delays. It would seem it is not in kogans best interest to inform people about delivery delays PRIOR to purchase. I doubt it's in stock at all. It's blatant false advertising. Very disappointed. People who've been affected by floods are under enough stress. I'm trying to run a business. I would have gone somewhere else if I was aware before making this purchase. Not good enough. Get your act together Kogan!

Fraudsters

I ordered $3.99 litmus papers. And clicked no shipping, and after weeks i saw $59 deducted from my account for Kogan.com
I had no idea they signed me up for their membership which wasn't mentioned anywhere, and charged me their fee which is useless.
The membership (which is forced on me) is non refundable on their website
Pathetic customer service
I think this is how they earn by posting stuff on cheapest rates and then taking credit information of customers and charging them ridiculous fee for nothing

SHOCKING - DONT BUY!

Spent $799 on a pool table. The item arrived scratched, damaged and peeling. Kogan clearing has no control over suppliers listing on their marketplace. Kogan has promised me a full refund a number of times assuring me its ok to return the item. I am now without the item and chasing refund for over 3 weeks. I have no confidence I will get my refund as the seller has decided to ignore Kogans requests and Kogan appears powerless to do anything about it. Maybe if I leave enough of these I will get somewhere.

I bought a pair of womens shoes and the site gave mens sizing so in the confusion I ordered a size too small. I contacted Kogan on receipt, and they wanted a photo before they would action a return. I am a senior and had a lot of trouble sending the required photo! Then they sent 2 attachments in 2 emails to print. OK but I dont have a printer to do this. So I sent an email, which Kogan would not answer. So, I took the phone to the PO after about 10 mins, they managed to scsn the label. The second I wrote out by hand with no barcode of course. I was not offered a bigger shoe size, and they are now have a clearance sale with the price UP $9. The customer service is poor and I dont expect a refund anytime soon

These guys will do everything they can to scam extra $$$ sneakily from you - asking as you check out a lot of questions - some which sneakily add ongoing charges to you.
Unethical.
I would never use Kogan again.

Does anyone work here?

I have been waiting since 26th December for a vacuum cleaner. According to tracking all that has happened is the money is sorted. Not even at the warehouse yet. Think I've been taken! Customer service doesn't work and phone cuts out before you get to speak to anyone.
