I would give a zero if possible. I arrived at the airport to find out that the flight I booked through Kiwi.com didn't exist. The airline stopped servicing to my destination city after I purchased the ticket through Kiwi. I didn't receive any notification from Kiwi. What I did receive multiple times from Kiwi was confirmation of my confirmed itinerary. I was forced to pay $500 out of pocket to book a new flight to my destination city. Kiwi refused to pay back the $500 citing that my "guarantee" was voided because they sent me a notification... that I never received. I'm on my third phone call with their customer service center and getting the EXACT same response every time.

The Kiwi travel documents stated: "It seems as if you do not need any visas for your journey." It does go on to deny any responsibility for travel documents... however. That statement is misleading... especially to a novice traveler who might not know that some airports require visas to have a layover there! Phone support was NOT available when boarding was denied! By the time they returned our call, it was too late to remedy the situation. First flight issues caused two more flights to be missed. Kiwi customer service did cancel those flights for "extreme reasons" so they said. Total cost was $1,300. We did receive a refund of $100... no explanation of which airline gave a refund. Kiwi accepted no responsibility for this fiasco despite their statement of "It seems as if you do not need any visas for your journey". If they do not want to be responsible for travel visas... THEY SHOULD NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT IMPLIES VISAS ARE NOT NEEDED!

Never use kiwi.com to book your flights. Always just use and abuse them as a Search Tool! People who run this $#*! show are tools themselves so you might as well treat them as such.

I just returned from a flight to Europe and kiwi screwed up my baggage allowance and booked me under a different reference number as my family so I had to pay extra to be seated with them. Then kiwi did not check me in on the way to our destination and did not check my entire family in on the way from my destination. I had to call overseas to get them to fix that. They have a policy of Never Letting you speak to a supervisor and they will not give you direct access to your tickets at the airline so you can manage them. They refused me over 15 times requesting that I get access to Ryanair tix so I may manage my tickets. Ryanair charges exorbitant fees if you don't check in online. Then Kiwi of course didn't check us in on this Airline to and from our destination at all! I had to call them from outside the country to get it fixed. What a joke this company is.

If you enjoy policing a company that has zero customer service and does not solve their issues when they do come up, then feel free to use them. This is the worst Travel Agency in existence. Great sleek website and a great Search tool, but always always always always book direct!.

Never ever book with this company. If my experience just stops one person from booking with kiwi and I have done my job.
I'm about to post this all over the the internet on different review sites.

Long story short, I made 2 booking changes in less then 24 hrs and lost got NO tickets. I was scammed for over 3,000 US dollars. Kiwi. Com. Gave me the impression that they were going to resolve the dispute and only returned me 500.00 a month and a half later.

Terrible
February 25, 2019

Don't book with Kiwi! We booked a bunch a little flight in between the Greece Islands for January. 10 days before we left we got a email saying one of the flights was not operational. Which was finr so we had to find a different way to get there. So being in Santorini, the day we where suppose to head to the airport we got a email from the airlines saying we half to check in. So we went to try and there site wouldn't let us. As we got to the airport we had to pay a extra Euro 100.00 to get on the flight. To find out from that airline that Kiwi was suppose to check us in, it was there responsibly. Now the day we where leaving Mykonos I got no email from Kiwi checking us in to see flight so we decided to head to the airport earlier the usual. As we arrived to find out the airline that we booked through Kiwi doesn't even run in January! So we there was one other airline flying and they had room for us. Which was awesome because that was the only flight out that day and we had international flights to catch. Which we would have missed due to Kiwi. Trying to get are money back for that extra flight cause I feel there responsible for letting us book a flight that doesn't even run in the winter! They say there not accountable for it! With all the hick ups we had with Kiwi in Greece, I hope ppl consider booking through other sites KIWI not being one!

STAY AWAY FROM KIWI!
February 24, 2019

This is the worst booking agency I have ever dealt with.

I always fly around the world and I usually use other booking agencies. I saw a good deal with KIWI and decided to buy a ticket with them. The flight was from Marrakech, Morocco, to Oakland, USA, with a layover in Paris. When I got to the airport I found out that the only flight they could find in the system was a one-way flight to Paris, and since it was not my final destination, and I don't have the French visa, I was not allowed to check in.

I could not understand because I bought a ticket to Oakland and the confirmation I got from Kiwi showed that. But the system said otherwise. I ended up missing my flight and loosing more than 600$.

I contacted KIWI, and they only refunded me 75$, AND WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATIONS.

I contacted them many times and I even told them that I am ready to take them to court, but they always reply with the automatic message: NO REFUND AVAILABLE.

This is a big scam! Please avoid them, otherwise, you will lose your money.

DO NOT USE THEM
February 19, 2019

A word of advise DO NOT EVER USE KIWI.COM. Completely misleading customers by selling cheap tickets but do not advise you that those are separate tickets (if stop over is required), leaving you with a non transit status. Guarantee they offer means nothing as they take no responsibility for their actions and pay no expenses they promised to cover. Got stranded at the airport and had to cover all expenses myself. Kiwi failed to cover anything.

Avoid kiwi.com
February 12, 2019

Don't book a ticket with Kiwi.com under any circumstance. They are a no different from a scam website, especially when it comes to their Kiwi Guarantee.
They will postpone a solution and promise everything will be ok until the last moment, then say we're sorry we can't help.
In our case, our flight with Kiwi got cancelled and they promised everything will be fine, we just have to wait and call the airline directly. At that time, we could have purchased another flight for a reasonable price, but they insisted they will help us if the airline won't.
The airline ended up only proposing a refund and in the meantime prices for the flight went up 5x. Kiwi then said "oh sorry, we can only refund the flight at this point".
We lost the hotel, car booking for our 7 day trip because of Kiwi.
Please avoid and a flight from another agency that doesn't trick you into thinking they'll help but never do.
I will never buy from Kiwi.com again. Stay away from kiwi.com and especially kiwi + Ryanair

Even a 1 star review is more than what they deserve. They promise they would provide flight or accommodation for any delay or interruption but that's not as simple as that.
I was waiting in the airport for more than 3 hrs for their response, but they didn't contact back. So, I forced to book the next available flight next night, and also booked hotel by myself.
When they called after 3 hrs 45 mins, they said as I have booked by myself, so their policy won't allow for ANY refund.
The customer care representative mentioned that they have policy for provide accommodation (more than 8 Hrs stay) and fare for new tickets, but when I say to refund the amount what is cheapest in that airport and whatever the cheapest flight tickets he denied.
The customer care representative (Bilal) not even agreed to pass the call to his manager. He mentioned it's their policy to not pass the call to manager. So weird!!

I would prefer to buy ticket by spending $50 more with better airlines (AA,United, Delta, SW..) than book with Kiwi (Kiwi/Frontier) where one such incidence cost me $305.

Never use Kiwi service
February 3, 2019

Never use Kiwi service.

1. Their online booking has problem and it will make you duplicate bookings.
2. When asked for refund, they refused. When asked to change flight time/date/names, they refused. But when I contact the airline, airline refund to them. And Kiwi charge me BP20 + unknown charges. No break down on the refund statements.
3. Their customer service only reply you with robot-liked sentences. Only keep on repeating the same "official" answers. Never answer your real questions.

This 3rd party agency is terrible! They do nothing at all to protect its customers when an airline decides to modify their travel itinerary. We're now stuck with a significant layover and missing valuable time we would have otherwise spent at our intended destination!
To make matters worse, their customer service is very difficult to get ahold of. Contact info is not readily available and when you do get a response from their email service, don't expect it to be translatable into your language. They do very little to understand or help your situation and only look t protect themselves from any liability.
If you're looking for a cheap flight, go through Kiwi... but don't expect anything other than a useless 3rd party who books a flight for you (rather than just going direct to the airline webpage and probably finding cheaper options).
I will NEVER be using Kiwi again after this experience.

Kiwi knew for weeks one of my flights was canceled but didn't notify me. I found myself stranded in Brussels frantically trying to get things sorted out with Kiwi, who lied over and over again. I only found out they had been notified about the flight cancellation after initiating a claim with the airline, who provided the email they sent to Kiwi two weeks prior about the flight being canceled. As a result of Kiwi's negligence and incompetence, I missed a family gathering and a business meeting, costing money and immense frustration. Had Kiwi performed their contractual duty and notified me about the flight change I could have rescheduled. After immense pressure and hours on the phone, Kiwi did pay for a hotel, all the while trying to pretend they were doing me a favor and lying, saying the airline canceled unexpectedly. Of course, they didn't compensate me for the cost incurred due to their negligence and incompetence, such as of food in an expensive city, incidentals, hotel taxes, and the inconvenience of missing my meetings and family events. Then they tried to offer me a $50 coupon to delete the review... as if I would ever give them more money and another chance to screw me. Avoid this company, not only are they incompetent and negligent, they are also liars. I have the emails to prove all of this and will be escalating it to the proper regulatory authorities.

I pushed 'purchase' on a flight that was supposed to leave from NYC but then I realized it was not NYC but SWF airport, hours outside of NYC! I immediately tried to cancel by calling the automatic system which said it could handle cancellation but after a long process then said they couldn't. I went on the website and they say they will charge a steep cancellation fee and might return some money paid if the airlines are willing to do so! And it will take 30 days. I called again and again and finally reached someone who said they could not help. I asked for the supervisor but that person wasn't available. This company is disgusting and should be avoided at all costs.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM
January 23, 2019

DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI.COM

Yes, it was the cheapest option... BUT:

1. They say they will do the online check-in for you and ask you for passport details. We were not able to provide our passport details due to a technical issue of them and Kiwi.com told us that "we must check in at the airport". The airline we flew with had an airport check-in fee of 55 euros per person which Kiwi.com did not refund us.

2. Kiwi.com gave us the wrong information regarding the cabin luggage weight that was allowed for the airlines we were using.

3. They generate different booking references for each flight, meaning that you will need to pick up your luggage in each connection and check them again. This also means that if your flight gets delayed or cancelled and you don't make it to the next one, you will end up paying for new flights according to the feedback from other customers.

4. Kiwi.com replies fast via messenger (on Facebook) but the customer care service is poor.

I mistakenly booked a flight and immediately called to cancel. They charged me $97.00 and will only refund me $65.56. They basically just stole money from me. They have quite a racket going. Book your flight directly from the airline. This company is disgusting. UPDATE. They refunded my money ONLY after I reported them to Kayak.com and the BBB. Be diligent and demand your money back!
