This company is horrible. Their customer service is subpar, and after booking a $1,000 trip with them and after being promised a refund, I have yet to receive one and it's been over 5 months since my request. This is unheard of and quite frankly, it's unwise to hold on to someone's money for so long. Please fix this issue.
Shortly after the cruise ship company refunded our cancelled trip(Venice - Bari) because of the corona pandemic, Kiwi.com informed us that they are keeping open one leg of our post cruise return flight(Bari - Rome) and cancelled the other leg of the flight(Rome - Dubrovnik). We live near Dubrovnik so this would not get us home, but Kiwi.com nevertheless refused to refund us. As much as this is appalling, its worth seeing what Kiwi.com is really like when the customer is disadvantaged by them: no access to customer support(no one answers the phone), there is no way to email them a complaint or lodge it in any other way; but once we contacted our bank to get the money back, Kiwi.com had plenty to say how wonderful they are but are still unwilling to refund the flights.
Horrible service, my flights got cancelled (fair enough to due covid), however their Kiwi guarantee is absolute BS, they just refuse to help you with any of their promises like rebooking flights, or covering hotel and food costs which is the only reason I booked with them.
They'll just flat out lie to you and avoid you until you go away. Just put your money in a pile and burn it instead, would be better value.
Absolutely ridiculous company. The deadline to check-in into your flight is 30h before departure, of course they never warn you and when you try to check in it's already too late. You are left with no option rather than checking in at the airport, paying the respective fee (55 euros for Ryanair). Don't go for Kiwi, you'll end up paying more than what you think and being stressed during your holidays
I had a flight booked from London to Amsterdam to Mexico City to Cancun and then back with the same transfers. My flight got cancelled from Amsterdam to Mexico City to Cancun and back the only flights that were left for the Amsterdam ones and Kiwi is now saying that they will only refund me £90 in kiwi credit. They have not made any available wait for me to contact them whenever I called it said they won't help anybody unless you're travelling and they have basically stole my money. I am now seeking legal help from a lawyer which is going to help me Sue kiwi as they have stolen my money. Also I paid through PayPal and on my itinerary there is a credit card on there and it says show this credit card as the credit card you booked with but it's not my credit card it is all a scam. They're also saying I have to pay money for them to try and recover my funds. Do not ever use them again
Warning. Never, ever book a flight with kiwi.com. I had a flight since March and had been cancelled by airlines due to lockdown. Kiwi.com requested £20 to refund, which was paid, but nothing returned. On April
2020, Airlines emailed me that refund done, but kiwi.com not responding to any email. They are a group of thieves. I don't know why the review is 3.8 despite all these complaints from the clients
Do not travel with them, it is a scam, they are not respecting consumer rights, they are no transparent, they are hiding conditions and not refunding the money. Beware

What a joke I paid 700 dollars for one way short trip 11 hours and my alternatives are 608 canadian dollars and 900 and all over the world stops I DID NOT GET ON MY PRIOR TRIP. Then they expect me to pay full price so actually I am paying double for a completely crappy trip stops in LISBON and CDG and then to ORY airport I transfer by taxi or bus. CDG is going on strike. They still have the same flights for sale and the second part of your trip is separate a far away country hhhh. That will not cancel or you can not till 48 hrs and you can not contact them by email phone anywhere. BAD BUSNESS PRACTICES. They ask for your booking number nd say we only take people 48 hours before flights call. Try managing your life around their protocol. Stop blaming your practices on the other Airlines your out for profit plain and simple. Then THEY TRY TO OFF YOU 154 DOLLARS AS TRIP MILES ONLY. If you accept it say goodbye to what you originally paid for the trip read the fine print people/if anyone is interested in working together to stop this crooked way of dealing with customers contact each other via this the more we get the better it is to stop this.
The whole company is a scam. I claimed my money back as my flights were cancelled. They sit on your money for months, promising everything which is possible. No answer to your email, useless to call them, not even one responsible person, manager, whoever works there. AVOID this company. I hope they will be out of the travel industry completely.
Been waiting nearly 4 months for my cancelled flight refund. Had no replies to emails, no return phone calls and no money. Was promised a refund within a week, that was 2 weeks ago, still no communication from Kiwi.

I booked a trip to Rome with Kiwi.com, they booked Stansted to Eindhoven, Eindhoven to Rome - return journey Rome to Genoa, Genoa to Stansted. Our outbound flight was cancelled, I was assured by Kiwi that the airline would refund all our travel as we were unable to go on the initial flight, I have contacted them numerous times and been assured but still no refund. I have now contact the authorites in the Czech Republic to report them! My contract was with Kiwi.com and not the airlines, they never gave any information for me to contact airlines directly to resolve this matter and now they site says I have travelled. Absolutely disgraceful. Stay away from this company and do you research, lots of bad reviews out there regarding this company.
Booked 3 tickets for my family and 4 days before the flight I checked in with the airline company to check the status of the flight since there is a lot of uncertainty with covid. I was told by the airline representative that the flight never existed and it was a fraudulent ticket. Couldn't believe it so I walked in to the local office of the airline company and sure enough it was fraudulent. Called kiwi and explained but the rep ( Krishna) refused to take my word for it. He couldnt get hold of the airline but assured me that someone will get back to me by the day ends. No call back received for another 24 hours. This time they are saying yes it was cancelled in the last minute which is a lie. Told me to wait for 3 months for my refund. What a world we live in
Got the Coronovirus and they still did not let me get a full refund. The worst. It is not my fault. Never booking with Kiwi again. Worst customer service not helpful either.
Those that intend to buy Flight ticket thru Kiwi.com MUST BE extremely careful. They sold you Air Tickets that the Airlines already cancelled flights and my goodness, even inform them about it and they still put up for sales for the whole period of time. When asking for refund, they conned you to pay a express charges to quick settle your refund, but this is another scammed! They will never process for you and giving all sorts of reasons to to delay and push all blames to third party flight operators etc etc. This is the first time that I encountered such a frightening online company and all my money is gone!
I bought flights back home from my Asia trip long before the covid situation got bad. I had a layover in Italy and 2 out of my 3 connecting flights were cancelled when the quarantine started in Italy.
I booked last minute flights with another company in order to get back to the US and requested a refund for my cancelled flights from Kiwi.
I have been given the run around time and time again, and have an email thread with Kiwi that has been ongoing with no progress for 5 months now (I check in every couple of weeks).
I have called many times and when I was able to actually reach a person they were extremely unhelpful.
I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and letting them know how this company operates, by stealing money from working class people.
They don't have a customer service line in Canada so I have to pay $40 for international calls and I have to keep calling them for them to take care of the problem otherwise they don't do anything about it and just keep saying that they will "help" you. IT IS THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

Booked a fligth from Airlingus with Kiwi. After booking i realized that only kiwi was offering this connection.
The flight was never meant to take off due to lock down!

Do not use Kiwi.com. I booked flights and paid for them. All should have been fine, but had no confirmation from Kiwi, so contacted them a couple of weeks later, only to be told that the flights were now £400 more! Holiday completely ruined as I had to find new flights, could not get my son out with us as there were no flights for him, I'd booked hotel and car hire by this time. Absolute disaster. DO NOT USE KIWI.COM!
I applied for a refund for a flight in May. In July I was told that it takes 3 months to get a refund and that I cannot be given an update. They blamed the airline for being slow to offer a refund, then claimed that the company has so many claims that it takes 3 months, then I was told that I should have paid for refund service if I wanted better service. There was no commitment to returning my money even in 3 months. This is clearly not a reputable company. I would suggest buying elsewhere regardless of the potential savings.
Kiwi.com's guarantee and customer support are rubbish, they're the most unaccessible service around cutting the phone call if your departure date is over 7 days away and flights are cancelled, charging extra fees for even email contacts, no guarantees whatsoever over the standard airlines policies let alone refunds. DO NOT USE THEM or you're on your own with your money paid going down the drain. The estimate refund times from airlines are 3+ months (!) nothing is guaranteed(!) Their instant refund is $163 on the $1348 tickets, what a piece of rubbish!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
