I have given a 0 score if this option would have been available, as my recent booking with Kiwi.com has made my travelling back from Moldova to Edinburgh very challenging and extremely expensive. I am sure that using Kiwi.com to book just one flight to a destination might be ok, however it can be pretty challenging when having to book several flights with self transfer to get to a destination. Perhaps this also can be ok if everything runs smoothly and there are no delays or cancellations otherwise the information you get from an automated help desk that Kiwi.com provides is confusing and unhelpful.
In the end my one way trip has costed me almost £1000 and it took 24hr to complete.
It would have been helpful to have a human being helping me with all the challenges faced than a robot giving me wrong guidance.
You have to request any changes to your flight 48 hours before. That's fair. BUT they'll just ignore you until it's too late and try to get you to book an entirely new flight.
They blew me off for over 24 hours saying they were "busy". Once it was too late, they were perfectly happy to respond.
They added no value whatsoever. I couldn't check in, couldn't get my flight information, couldn't make changes. Just book through the airline or a different company. Don't give these people a cent.
I'm astonished about all these negative reviews. I'm thinking, are they actually real or is this a ploy by another site in competition with them to make them look bad. I only discovered kiwi.com a couple of months ago and so far they've been amazing, I booked a really cheap flight from Abu Dhabi to Edinburgh via Santorini and back again with no issues. In fact, Kiwi.com automatically checked me in which was a massive help to me. I got regular updates telling me they checked me in, or if there was a delay with the airline. Kiwi.com has by far been the best website to book travel on I've ever come across. I've told about a dozen people how great they are. I honestly think that these bad reviews are a 'set up' to make kiwi.com look bad because another competitive company is losing sales because of them. This kind of thing happens all the time on the internet.
Stay away from this company. Easyjet cancelled my flight, it happens, especially during these post covid consequences. However, even though Easyjet have refunded the flight to Kiwi.com, they only offered me a credit with them and only a third of what was paid. This is a common story, there are so many people in this situation, shame on you kiwi.com
Stay away from this company. I lost $1400 because they sold me a fraudulent ticket without taking responsibility. Stay away from them and buy your ticket directly from the airlines. Kiwi is running scams.
Recently booked 8 flights to Barcelona, there was a slight issue with the spelling of a surname, we tried to change via Kiwi (over 48 hours before flight) the service we received was shocking, live chat was ignored when you spoke to CS they didnt understand what you were asking to do. When I did speak with someone after 8 attempts they wanted to charge me over 300Euros for the pleasure and there was no guarantee the change would be made. I advise everyone to Avoid this company!
We made a booking Cairo-New York-Tampa and at the same day trip price was changed. We didnt know that the payment was taken twice, we knew it after some days after freezing the amount in bank. Anyway we paid 1300EUR and as well as price was increased the system of kiwi offered cancelling and fully refund because its never been booked. We agreed but nothing helped. System error. One week passed the status is still booking processing. No answers, no call answers (robot says wait for your booking we will answer during 24 HRS). Now we have 400% additional problems. We debited 2600EUR instead of 1300, its going to be a dispute in bank, that was passenger's money (not the payer's). $#*! company, $#*! support. NEVER DO. Claim everywhere where you can.
I got caught in their scam. The website even showed the times for departing flights and return flights, so I bought it. Then my confirmation is only for the return. They got me. Their call center is in India and zero conversational progress can be had through that channel. Filed a complaint with BBB. Stay away.

La única respuesta fue "los sentimos mucho, contacta la aerolínea". Te cobran la vida $$$ pero cuando tienen que dar algun servicio al cliente te dicen" lo siento no hay nada que podemos hacer" ESTAFA NO COMPEN ACA A NO SER QUE QUIERAS PERDER TU PLATA Y PASAR MALOS MOMENTOS"
I booked a last minute return flight from Hannover to Athens to be presented to a funeral of a family member.
The first part of the flight was through Corendon Airlines (Hannover-Heraklion on 09.07.2022) and the other parts were from Aegean Airlines (Heraklion-Athens on 09.07.2022 and Athens-Hannover on 10.07.2022). Kiwi website confirmed the booking and sent me the e-tickets for all 3 parts (file attached). Few hours before departure, they sent me an email, that the Corendon Airlines cancelled the flight from Hannover to Heraklion and that I should search for another schedule and the informed me that I have no refund right as I didnt book the insurance they offered.
I called the Hannover airport and they informed me that the flight is scheduled and is not cancelled. I informed the kiwi.com with an email that the flight is not cancelled and that I am waiting for my refund in case they dont resolve the case.
The same time kiwi.com were selling tickets through their website for the same flight tha same date and same time. I contacted the Corendon airlines and our booking code and e-ticket (shared through kiwi.com) could not be find in their system. The day after, the Hannover airport confirmed that the flight was performed as scheduled.
They are scammers. I have regreted booking with them.
I booked flights with kiwi and the departure time on return flight changed so the connection no longer works. Since then I have been unable to get any response from them and they have £700 of my money. They offered £100 Kiwi credits or flights a day earlier for several hundred £ more. I contacted their help desk 7 days ago no response, there are no tel numbers to try and speak to someone and frankly no customer service. DONT USE KIWI unless you want to loose your money. We

We are Ukrainian refugees and back in May we bought tickets to come from Poland to Canada for 7 people. 6 000$. Kiwi never booked tickets for us. And we left in the airport without any response from the company. No refund. Im definitely taking case to court
Terrible company, steals money from people! If your flights get cancelled there's no way to get ahold of anyone and they will tell you you can not get a refund - SCAM!
One of the worst phone customer experiences I've had in my entire life. Lack of communication between Kiwi.com and airlines so if you need to make a change on your trip, I'd suggest contacting the airline directly (even though most likely you won't able to because Kiwi withholds information).
Nothing gets done on Kiwi.com's end and they don't provide the information you need to make the change with the airline. The chat support takes hours for a response, and the phone support agents have zero information they can provide and goes in circles with you. After 4+ phone calls with some going over an hour, nothing was resolved. False promises were made by staff saying issues would be GUARANTEED to be resolved yet they weren't.
0/10 would never recommend to anyone.
Do not trust this company. I booked flights for my mother through Kiwi.com. Kiwi made an error and my mother was not allowed to board. She had to buy another ticket. I have contacted Kiwi and they refuse to give a refund even though it was their error.
This Kiwi site is a total scam. Thay canceled my flight and said that I will have information about refund 3 months away. I did not get any information and now they do not answer to messages.
This site is one of worst website for ticket booking. They cancel tickets and do not help in refund. I have been chasing them for long time but no luck.
I booked a air ticket through kiwi.com and airlines cancelled the flight. I have a relative in the airline and came to know the airline refunded the full amount and also have the proof. I only got a partial refund from kiwi and that too not in actual bank account but through kiwi credit. They informed they refunded whatever airlines refunded which is a lie I was cheated and hence please be careful and avoid using this kiwi.com for booking any tickets.
Kiwi confirmed my booking but never assigned tickets to that booking, i. E. the tickets are not "ticketed" so I was denied entry at the airport security checkpoint because I did not have a ticket. Kiwi never provided me with a ticket even though it promised that I would receive one. I called Kiwi customer service about 5 -6 times, who kept confirming that my ticket was still being "ticketed". However, this never happened. Until the time when the check in for the flight was closed, so I could not take my flight. On fault of Kiwi.com, because they had only sent a booking confirmation to me, but they had not assigned a ticket! This is really so stupid!
In addition, Kiwi provided deficient services. In a conversation I recorded with a Kiwi service representative, the representative promised me five times that he would offer me an alternate flight after he was unable to provide me with a ticket at the requested time. I was never offered an alternate flight. Kiwi's customer service representative did not keep his promise and does not meet generally accepted industry standards for similar services. I had to purchase a new flight due to this defective service, which cost me over 1,700.00 EUR in additional costs! I'm speechless!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
