I requested adding my Pre-Check numbers through Kiwi ten days in advance. They confirmed receipt and said it would be added.
On the day of checkin, Kiwi sent me my boarding pass without my pre-check info, and said it was too late to add my info since the boarding pass was already issued... despite my request and their confirmation ten days prior that it would be added.
Kiwi hides the airline PNR confirmation number until the last minute so passengers are helpless in contacting the airline prior to receiving the boarding pass.
Feels like a "scam"
My trip was 50% overcharged with terrible 8-hour layover. Had I booked the flights myself, It would save me $300. And the support is insufficient. Disappointed.
+ They want to take down my review. How could kiwi.com just deny the fact, what actually happened? It was my true experience, I have witnesses and booking number for the trip.
Awful customer service, awful app, awful experience. Will never use them again. Flight got pushed UP by over 6 hours, ruining an entire day but they did nothing to help. Didn't put me on another flight or cover my hotel expenses for the 12 hour layover I ended up having. Also lost money due to canceled dinner reservations but they did nothing. This is the 2nd time I've had issues with this company and I'm never going back.
P.S. If the airline offers you another flight or a refund, they don't pass it onto you.
Booked a round trip flight to Portugal this morning and ended up getting a confirmation for a one way ticket to Lisbon at the cost of a round trip and now they are fighting us on a refund despite this clearly being a glitch on their website. Do not use this booking site. Awful and unacceptable service.
Unfortunately booked my trip from ireland to Turkey with kiwi.com. One of the flight was cancelled by airline. Kiwi proposed to me alternative flights for double money... Let me explain... I have to cancel all my flights (3 connected flights, no refund,0€ return) and pay double for new flights! So I bought the tickets directly from airline twice cheaper and apply for refund of my cancelled flight. Waiting for 4 months now, trying everything, emails, phone calls etc no answer at all. Please please please avoid kiwi.com these are scammers
They are layers company messed up with the flights and send us other person ticket the day before flight,when I phoned them up asking to correct the ticket they cancel the flight. Saying cancellation has been made by the carrier not by them, I contacted direct company and received confirmation that the flights are not cancelled. So bought new tickets for the next day flight straight from the direct carrier. Refund also haven't received. Be aware of this scammer. It will cost you your time, nerves and extra money!
I swear I'm not even a person that does reviews on anything but from how much I'm shocked & in denial that a horrible company like this even exists. I will make sure you guys are closed because this is legit a scam. They lied & said they refunded us the $764 flight we booked we've been going back & forth about this since September & they're lying to my bank that I'm trying to dispute it with & Idk how to prove it to them except to show them a screenshot of my account & that there's no credit on there. & they're lying to my bank & telling them that they did send it back. & the worst people work there they will hang up the phone on your face & wil talk very unprofessionally
I've bought a trip with Kiwi, for Jan 2nd 2023. When I tried to check in with the airline company, I found I had no booking code.
Kiwi support then told me they hadn't booked it yet and would do it urgently as there were 24 h left to my flight. 4 h later, they sent me a message saying they didn't book it and that's it. I was left without flight tickets with less than 24 hours to my flight.
All that was offered was a refund, which the support crew just told me I won't even be able to receive it, it will be converted to "kiwi credits"
If I can give this company a 0 star, I would. Worst company ever! I had a few different browsers open as I reviewed different flight options. I entered all my personal information and just needed to push the purchase button. I did this with all the open browsers so I can quickly purchase my ticket. I selected the wrong browser and booked a flight with this company. Realized my mistake and called them within 20 minutes. First guy hung up on me and second person I called said the booking has been processed and will not allow me to change my flight plan. I called my credit card company and they said the purchase is still pending. It has not gone through yet. I asked my credit company to cancel the charge as it has not been processed. Credit card company instructed me to dispute the charges. I called Kiwi again and asked to speak to a supervisor and operator informed me none was available for the next 2 hours. US Airlines typically have a 24 hour cancellation policy. This company literally does not have any refund or cancellation policy. If you want one, you have to purchase their refund policy prior to purchasing their tickets. The policy is another $55. You're better off booking your flight somewhere else. I wished someone would have flagged this company as a fraud.

BOOKED A FLIGHT AND 2 HOUSR LATER I TRIED TO CANCEL IT AND GET MY MONEY BACK. KIWI DID A REFUND OF $10 WHEN I PAID $200, WHEN CALLED FOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT THEY DID NOT BRING ANY HELP, NOT REFUNDING THE MONEY NOR CHANGING THE FLIGHT ALTERNATIVES. IT IS A DISGUSTING COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS HIDDING IN POLICIES SPEACH
Bought a flight ticket received confirmation. Arrived at the airport only to be told they did not book anything for me. Had to pay twice as much in cash at the airport. These scammers have 10,000 bad reviews. I can't understand how credit card companies allow them to operate.
I booked an itinerary through kiwi.com, but due to circumstances that changed, I had to cancel the trip within 24 hours of booking. To my surprise, kiwi.com has a policy of only refunding a small portion of the cost, despite the fact that I had spent a significant amount of money on the trip. In my case, I only received a refund of Eu 10.00, despite having spent approximately $1250.00. This policy feels like a rip-off and makes me question the integrity of the company.
We book a trip with them. Everything confirmed. No problem. But when I decided to check in, the app said that had to go to the kisk of the airline. That sounded weird as the airport for the departure had the option for online check in. So decided to call them. The answer was that the trip had been cancelled (first news) or it was not confirmed (they said yes in a previous email). Basically, I can confirm paying the doubled price or get a refund. All the hotels, trains, taxis booked. No more option. And, as they just intermediate, the regulations apparently don't work for them. Well, let's see what a judge thinks.
Avoid at all costs! I always had issues with booking flights with this company! Customer service is horrible and they are so disorganised!
I have sent a refund request for a luggage that was charged eventhough the details on the e-ticket included that luggage!
I no one could help me at their helpdesk, I talked to different people all the time and they didn't even bother to read my messages. I had to repeat myself a number of times. One assistant told me that I was eligible to receive the refund, but then it got refused be another assistant.
They aren't worth your money! You're better off with paying a bit more and treated with decency!
Kiwi never sent me a confirmation code. Later received a flight cancellation notice less than 48 hours of departure. Called the airline sand they did not have a reservation on my name
Booked a flight with them in a single package using two carriers. The first flight was delayed by two hours so missed the connection. Kiwi.com told me to take the fight anyway so I was stranded in a third city in another country. Then Kiwi.com's only solution was to make me buy another ticket at a higher price than the original ticket [in the range 450-650 euros]. The airline returned me to my home city so I could book a much cheaper flight, but Kiwi.com then said that this invalidated my return ticket too. I am at home having now had to spend over three times what I paid Kiwi.com, and Kiwi.com are so far refusing to refund me even though they did not get me to the destination I paid for at the agreed price. I am also out of pocket for accomodation and a tour I booked. DON'T RISK USING BOOKING.COM.
That's the worst flight ever I seen. Please don't trust them.no gate number.no notification sitting at airport more then 10hrs also if you call them to reschedule then u have to pay again to book flight please don't use kiwi airlines
Kiwi can find cheap flights, but their customer service is rude and unhelpful when issues are encountered at any point along the way or before your trip. I spoke to multiple representatives on their customer service team, and they were all equally rude. After not getting through with Kiwi, I tried contacting the airline directly and found that they did not have any record of bookings under my name and said I was not listed as a passenger on their flight. I travel for work constantly and this is by far the worst experience I've had with a booking agency.
For a long-haul flight from Saudi Arabia to Japan, I paid $1,500 for a return flight. On the final leg of my flight from Bangkok, Thailand to Fukuoka, Japan, I discovered my ticket did not include a check-in allowance with Thai Viet Jet. I was charged $39 for 7kg by the airline.
Upon contacting Kiwi.com about the issue they put the responsibility solely upon me because I did not request check-in baggage allowance.
Since when does the passenger/customer not receive a minimum check-in allowance for a long-haul flight?
Avoid Kiwi.com at all costs.
Horrible company.
I booked a flight. They had a technical issue and cancel the booking. The price of the flight is 70£ more but they didn't give me any compensation for this.
Also once the refund is turn into credit you can't get the refund in your card.
I called the customer service and they couldn't do ANYTHING.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
