Kijiji is not the issue i love it, but the people that buy need to do learn how it work. Like i sold a womens winter jacket to a man for is wife, i come without is wife to buy the jacket then 2 hours later i call me back to get is money back because it to small for is wife. Now is pis that i wont take it back. It not my responsibility to make sure it the good size for her. When you by use clothes from a privates u better make sure it goin to fit, if it doesn't it not the seller faults and as soon as you live whit what you buy it yours.

I'm from california and craigslist is what's used and it's great. I came to MTL in November and learned that craigslist wasn't as good as back home. People came to tell me about kijiji being this great website. Well, My girlfriend and I are trying to move out of our place, we made an ad and have had nothing but problems. We were told the ad was posted and it wasn't we have contacted customer service for help and they told us that kijiji is not the right platform for us to use. WHAT?!?!? This website is wackkkkk. I want to see kijiji crash an burnnn. If I could I would put no stars. Any other sites out there like craigslist and kijiji that isn't full of spam?

Horrible search options, there's no option to view according to the most relevant, or price high to low etc.
The spam adds for multiple locations and search words spam all over the results. For example, when searching for "Coffee table" in Toronto, out of 20 results, 10 are spam ads repeating themselves for weeks.
Many many more flaws that I have no time to mention.

This service since eBay has taken over has gone nowhere else but DOWNHILL. Most of the Canadian reps/service personel are on a power trip in cancelling some postings that don't agree with them. The staff are "Legends,... in their own minds"!
There are many other alternatives,. Just Google to find out.

You list something and ten minutes later its on page five and a day later its on page 30? Because the greedy day holes can't stop spamming the sight with their nonsense and I'm talking these greedy corporate pigs that have more money coming out their day holes, but have to monopolize a sight where people are trying to sell things. Shoppers Drug Mart is a fine example of a billion dollar corporation totally monopolizing page after page, like the greediest drug lord

I've written numerous times to the Admin staff at Kijiji, to ask them to actually go in an look at the ads some of these idiots post online. If someone can't tell the difference between "Wanted" and "For Sale" do you really want to deal with them. I mean seriously, if you want to sell a table or other item, why do you put it in the "wanted" section. Idiots.
Kijiji is outdated now, and there are many better options available. Whomever they have operating their site should be fired immediately, and replaced with a 14 year old who actually knows how to build a functioning website. Trying to place an ad, or browse an ad is just too slow and time consuming now. I don't see this company operating much longer if they continuously ignore the concerns of their users. I agree, several years ago the site was much better; but now it's just tedious. They deserve to go under, and the idiots who work there should put in a resume at Starbucks.
