I am in Kijiji more then 8 years still great some how of reverse mode yes
Also some of costumers are very cheap and they want something for free even new item for sale they offer less then 1/4 Quarter of current price in store be fair commmmm
And If you want the Saler to reply to you don't low ball fair price be ok Kjij still the best yes its hard to satisfy every one and if you don't like kjiji go some where else no one force you...

I just signed up for Kijiji for the first time. Posted my old camera, lens and filters to sell. A note said my items were pending a review because I was new. Later in the day they became active. Took me half a day off to learn the ins and outs of Kijiji but all seemed good now. A few hours later all the ads were gone!

I contacted customer support chat and a Sarah types she is looking into why my ads are not there. After some time she types the following and abruptly cuts me off.

"Upon review of your account, we've made the decision that we are not the appropriate advertisement platform for you personally or your business model. We do appreciate your understanding and cooperation. I deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and we thank you in advance for respecting our decision."

I am a hobby photographer who has never posted or sold anything on Kijiji before and I certainly won't waste my time with them again!

Kijiji is a decent place to go find something you quickly need or have been saving up for. What sucks about this site is the amount of old degenerates that are on here. I swear these old people will NEVER learn how technology works or how to communicate online. Get the hell off the internet you ancient beings.

Funny isn't it that most of the negative reviews are from the old people. God this is pathetic that I even have to write this to tell these weak whiny old people to shut up. This isn't the place for you and your light-hearted bs.

A year ago, they made it mandatory to have an account to post ads. This year, they made it mandatory to have an account to REPLY to ads. So they went out of their way to kick me off the site and I know I WON'T be going on that site ever again because all it did was cause high blood pressure and heightened stress.

This site and all the psychos wronged me, so I went around sending inflammatory messages to random users: just so the rest of the audience members got a piece of my mind even if THEY were not originally involved in my misfortune.

They didn't give 2 thoughts about customers when they WERE using the site and only made changes AFTER the customer leaves the site? What kind of logic is that?

I remember when I first discovered this site OVER 7 years ago, they had over 500 socials ads. These days, they struggle to get to 200. That's like a 70% decrease, right? The site has become a total joke and clown show, it is now a breeding ground for the crazy population and robbery crews to operate on and they ALLOW this type of behavior!

So I'm sure it goes without saying that all the level headed people obviously got pissed off and left!

You may have noticed it change from bad to worst, with the biggest mistake they made: being the anonymous email concealment system. How easy is it to send inflammatory messages to people using fake names? But the biggest problem is with the staff posing as potential customers and sending bot replies and blanket messages to customers, to make it look like the site gets legit traffic when it doesn't.

The behaviors initiated and reciprocated by the audience members on that site is nothing short of deplorable and I am honestly embarrassed for them and their lack of ethics on how they conduct business. Needless to say, everyone who operates and uses the site, are the lowest level of scum and compare with filth in the sewers. That is honestly the NICEST way I know how to put it.

If there was a vigilante justice program that had the power to make CORRUPT companies FORCIBLY SHUT DOWN, I would 100% be the 1st to protest against them.

I wonder if they're proud of themselves, for implementing a large presence of bots and crazies? Eventually, I hope everyone with more than 2 brain cells will slowly leave in droves and they'll be left with psychos/muggers/bots messaging back and forth, trying to one up each other...

I'm sure that you can see from reading the other posts, how pissed off other people are with this site and their experiences are probably just as terrifying as mine. This is NOT a joke. Please stay away from this site at all costs.

Kijiji has fallen to the very bottom scum when it comes to customer service (nonexistent to be exact) and your private information.
Their help desk agents are unprofessional, unhelpful, condescending and plain rude. They remove your legit ads arbitrarily; when you ask them why, their answer is that it's their 'internal policy' which is whatever they say as there's nothing mentioned in their terms and conditions:

As you can see Evil Grant believes his words are law and he's above the law himself.

Because I questioned his action, he then locked down my account, ie I can no longer edit or delete my ads, respond to other ads or be contacted by other kijiji users, or remove my account altogether. It's a direct violation of Canadian privacy act - the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It's pointless to put anything on Kijiji. It used to be very localized. Now It is useless for selling anything. It has gone commercial, just like Google. I think they send out phony ad responses by email because the only inquiries I get from Kijiji read like this "Is this item still available?" and then you never hear back from the so-called buyer. I feel scammed. Apparently to delete your account you need send a request to support>other.

I've had many replies to ads I post "I'm interested in it" and then I don't hear back, over and over again. Usually a 3-word text to my email, some send many of these and in the end nothing happens. They never respond again and it's totally a waste of my time as a seller for simple cheap items. Even FREE items at curb, I get "I'm interested is it still available" and in the ad I say if the ad's up it's still available again total waste of time. Then they want more details... it's FREE at the curb, the picture tells it all. Also I've gotten replies stating I'm asking too much for something, even when I post to sell it with "best offer", how is that too much? I've had enough of the waste of time when someone does answer and we go back and forth for days with these tiny emails end on end with no result. Over many years I've only had 3 cases of buyers emailing: "Is it still available? I'll be there in 10 minutes" and they actually show up with cash in hand and cause no trouble.

Most of the jobs posted are $#*!ty that no one else wants to take. Good ones are scarce with requirements next to impossible to meet. Staffing companies are everywhere. They advertise a lot of jobs which are myths. Sales companies have been infesting every page with $4500 salaries for entry level which are too good to believe. Let alone scam ads to attract desperate job seekers. I have wasted a lot of time and a few gas tanks to go to the job interviews that were a joke. BTW, 80 % of the jobs are unadvertised. It's not Kijiji's fault but people who post ads.

James Chinese cell *******679 claimed can fix washer. Took some money to buy new part instead ruined our washer more.at least it was washing before.
