Giving my new pair of Garret AA battery holders a 5 star rating as they work great as a replacement to my old cracked original battery holders.
The fit is very tight when you install your new batteries in the holders, more so than the fit to the originals, and I found when I first inserted the holders into my metal detector it didn't power up on the first attempt.
Removing the holders and inspecting showed that one battery had not touched the positive post inside the holder due to the tight fit, and the spring for the negative post didn't slide the battery over to the positive post side to complete the circuit.
Just applied a slight bit of pressure to the battery sliding it into contact with the positive post and all was well.
I don't see this as a problem myself as I would prefer to have holding strength as I know with a little use and time this will wear in and the resistance holding the batteries will ease.
However, if you purchase and your unit does not power up. Just make sure the batteries are in fact in contact with the internal contacts.
Works great and the pricing is very fair!
I won't hesitate to buy again if I wear this set out.

Focused mainly on beach detecting. Lots of information with details to process that can be adapted to different kinds of hunting. Only provided limited information on fresh water lake detecting in shallow water. Would like to see another Dankowski DVD with similar detail specifically on fresh water lake detecting using scuba.
Not opening box because it is a Christmas gift for our grandson. I think it will be a great gift and give him memories each time he makes any kind of find

Not only super people to deal with but the shipping was amazing. I tell everyone that the items were on my door step before I hung up the phone. Now that's fast.
I used to use Nautilus Metal Detectors to locate septic tanks. Since it changed hands, they went to detectors that make multiple sounds and I could not find one that I could locate a septic tank with. Finally, I tried the Fisher M-97 with the 11" coil. It works about as well as the old Nautilus. I can find tanks now 3 feet deep and, if I pay close attention, 4 feet. I just received my second one and will probably order another one soon. One advantage over the Nautilus is the simplicity of the Retune Button. The service is very prompt. I have enjoyed working with Kellyco!
So far I like doing business with Kellyco because of the prompt processing of my order of the Whites metal detector! It is a Christmas gift and wont be used till a month from now. So that means I cant give a performance rating on the unit yet till after X-Mas.
Prompt service. Little disappointed with all the unexpected "extra" costs like shipping and the customs and duty which kind of soured this purchase a little. None of my other US purchases (all over $100) ended up like this. May look elsewhere for the future - just too much plus, plus with Kellyco. Advice to Kellyco - tell your Canadian customers up front about this stuff.
