Quick testimony on KEH. I bought a Fuji mirrorless camera from KEH a few months back. After using it for several days I changed my mind and decided to invest in a micro four thirds system instead. It was one day past the grace period for obtaining a full refund so I just sold the camera back to KEH at a loss. To my surprise they gave me a full refund anyway. Great service. Since then I have purchased from KEH a couple of Olympus Pen cameras and a Panasonic compact which were like new.

This LENS ARRIVED SO DIRTY that I do not believe it was inspected. At first I thought the lens had fungus, but after considerable gentle cleaning, I got the gunk off the lens. The metal rear of the lens was filthy and Q-Tips came up black for an hour and they grey for another. The filter threads were filthy. I'm not exaggerating. Q-Tips on the filter thread came up black for over an hour. Seriously, over an hour before the swabs stopped coming alway black and started being grey when the filter threads were wiped.
So I phoned KEH and Arthur grabbed another identical lens in better condition and sold it to me for the same price as the first. As well Arthur shipped the replacement lens to me free of charge and promised reimbursement of return shipping on the lens I am returning, as well as my money back on that first lens.
The replacement lens came up dirty and then grey on the filter ring and the rear metal, but it only took 20 swabs, not the 600+ Q-Tip swabs I needed to gently clean the first lens. Truly I am not exaggerating, over 600 Q-Tips to gently get the first lens clean.

One thing that could be improved is a prompt for the sales staff to add the recipients FedEx account number to the shipping WayBill for the purpose of charging the duty and taxes to the recipients FedEx account. This saves the recipient the $10 collection fee charged by FedEx. On this exchange the FedEx fees that I would not have had to pay had my FedEx account number been added to the Waybill by KEH, total and extra $20. Over the last several orders the total has come to at least $50 just for the FedEx tax collection fee.

This used lens was rated BGN but I haven't noticed anything that would warrant that rating. I guess that's why I don't rate lenses. LOL I was a little concerned with the shipping as the shipment was scanned in GA and it wasn't until 6 days later that it was scanned again in OR. I was just being a "nervous Nellie" as I thought it would bounce around various distribution centers on it's way to me. Apparently FedEx had a full trailer of stuff going from Georgia to Oregon and the North West. The order was delivered by FedEx within the expected time frame. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my total shopping experience.
