I purchased a used Nikon D3400 camera along with an 18 - 55 mm lens. I have been wanting to try out Nikon products for a long time. It's a great way to introduce myself to Nikon.

I guess it's not your fault, but the Sigma EX 17-50mm f/2.8 OS HSM lens I received, had the old firmware. There was an issue back in 2013 with this particular firmware version with the Nikon 5300/D3300 camera bodies using firmware v1.1. I now have to send my lens to Sigma to have the firmware updated, which is something I was not intending to do. I wish you guys had labeled the firmware version of the lens.
