Placed an order on 11/19/19 for a tote with a price that seemed to good to be true. A Christmas gift for my wife. On 11/29/19 I get a confirmation email telling me that they are getting my order ready. On 12/7/19 I get an email telling me my order has been cancelled. On calling customer service I am informed my order was cancelled because the item is out of stock. Apparently it takes Kate Spade over a week to determine they have sold more items than they actually had? When I ask if I can get the tote in the other color that was advertised for the same price on 11/29/19, I am informed that the sale has ended. But, I am encouraged to visit the Kate Spade website and purchase something at full price. To me this sounds like the old "bait and switch!" In my opinion, a very lousy way to treat customers!
Ordered a bag on thanks giving spoke to the most disrespectful rep her name was Desiree she was not caring to provide right resolution. And when asked to transfer the call to supervisor mentioned that all sups are busy and will call back in 2 business days. My item is not delivered and no refund after 6 calls and counting. Hats off Kate spade
Item placed over a week ago still no updates on shipping. Customer Service is HORRID! No longer will KS receive my business!
Tried to use my e-gift card to purchase online and it deducted the amount from the gift card but the order was not placed due to network error. Still waiting for refund since 2 weeks and the service is horrible.
Bought a purse that came damaged. The leather is rubbed off and there's scratches all over. Attempted to get on chat with a customer rep and they were ABSURDLY rude. She essentially ended the chat on me, in the middle of me typing. I was told my only options were returning the product for a refund, or keeping it as is. So that's what your money will get you folks... damaged goods, rude representatives, and no options to fix it really. I don't want to return the item, I wanted one sent to me that wasn't $#*!ed up. That's not a lot to ask for, considering that Kate Spade is a LUXURY brand. I'll never be buying anything from them ever again. Sad that they focus on doing whatever they can to take your money, rather than the quality of their goods.
I was in today (Black Friday) All the items were 70% off plus additional 25% off. But somehow all the purses and wallets I've bought it just doesn't add up. It wasn't 95% off at all. One customer service was very rude to me think I was stupid! Cuz I asked her what was the discounted price was. Love the brands, but just one employee just ruined my day!
Do not buy from their website, once you pay you are no longer valued by customer service. I'm still waiting for a refund from a purchase made over 30 days ago.
I have purchased many Kate Spade items over the years and was always happy with their unique, long lasting products. I have had several purses last many years and still have them today. Until last November that is. Bought a beautiful blush colored purse from Kate Spade online. Waited until Spring to use it. Used only three months, and part-time at that, and the purse began to wear along an outside pocket. Went to a Kate Spade store and they told me to contact Kate Spade directly. Online chatted with them. They told me to email customer service with pictures of the purse. They emailed me back to call them. Called them. Told me to take it to a store. Just a vicious circle Told them that this was terrible customer service and I am very dissatisfied. They told me they can refund me 15% or I can return the bag for a refund. WHAT?! If you can't replace the bag, do better than 15%, especially after of hours of my life wasted at this point, dealing with Kate Spade. I will waste no more time and will NEVER buy Kate Spade again. Shame on you Kate Spade!
I ordered from katespade.com a pajamas and i didn't receive it on time. The dishonest customer service told me if you don't receive on certain date you can keep it and we will refund you. So I called them and they told me we will give you a credit within a month. After a month I called them that I didn't receive the credit yet and they told me wait another month. Basically I never receive the credit and I called the supervisor Mr. Will to follow up. He was very very unprofessional and told me we won't give your money back. It seems not only the customer service but also the manger is very dishonest and very unprofessional. Avoid shopping from katespade.com you will regret
It was my second time to purchase an item from them online. First time was ok. But I had to return the card wallet cos the stitching was bad. Till now, almost a month and I havent got my refund yet. Not worth my time and money. Cos I had to chat/email them about the item, return it and the refund etc. The price was a ripped off too esp if you're in canada. They wont show you the full price, only the estimate amount even at check out. It will just deduct from your account. You wont even get a full refund cos they said usd is lower which is the opposite when you purchased the item. Pls dont buy online! Bad experience.
I bought 4 purses on sale to use throughout the year. One began falling apart a week after I started to use it. I followed the guidelines on their site and submitted all of the purchase information and photos. No response EVER! It's been over a month. They do not stand behind their product. Not worth the price. I pay for quality, this is junk.
Im waiting for my refund for a couple of days already. Ive been chatting with their customer service they always end fast. $#*! that and I already emailed them ive got no reply. They get the money fast but its hard to get a refund!

I have ordered an item and after a couple of days the order status did not change from "processing order". I called customer service and they told that it will take at least a week to ship the item. I asked to cancel the order but I was told that it is impossible due to "how fast things are going". What a terrible service!
Ordered a phone cover on line, received a handbag instead, contacted the company to let them know as I am sure the hand bag is more expensive than the phone cover. Should not have bothered, they want me to organize returning the handbag and are telling me that I then need to re-order the phone cover. As I have not made the mistake not really sure why I would need to do this, I would have expected a company like Kate Spade to deliver the correct item and collect the handbag, obviously I was mistaken. There are plenty of companies who are much better to deal with, do not order online from this company
I was at The Foley, Alabama Kate Spade store and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products. It was my second visit to the store and my second purchase. I will digoxin back and recommend the store
I purchased myself a wallet for my birthday which I assumed I was paying $90 AUD for. When my payment was processed I found out that that the price was in USD, meaning that I was charged an extra $50!
Not only that, but 2 payments of the same high cost were taken out of my account. This took my bank account into negative figures and I couldn't afford food and travel to work for 3 days! Kate Spade did NOT mention a double payment on their website. When I brought this up with customer service, they did not apologise and did not guarantee getting me my money back.
Please don't take the risk of buying with them, especially over seas and / or with PayPal!
The store manger is atrocious. Lacking all qualities of being a manager. ZERO customer service skills. Clearly the wrong choice for such a quality Brand.The hiring manager missed on this one.
I had bought Kate Spade for years, having spent thousands for handbags, shoes and accessories.
First week of December 2018, the metal zipper pull to my wallet broke off and was lost. The next day, I went to its San Francisco store expecting repair service. Staff took my wallet, said it would take 2 to 3 weeks, I said I was willing to pay.
Returned after 3 weeks and my wallet was not returned. Then after 2 months, still not returned. I called, not in. On April 19, after 4.5 months, they had my wallet and said due to a repair policy change, they could not fix it. COULD NOT replace the parta small, metal zipper pull for a wallet that I purchased from their company. The store staff... no apology, no sympathy, not friendly. The zipper pull breaking was a defect and they would not accommodate me. I wrote "Customer Service" (yes, in quotes) about my experience and never received a reply. Yeah, I'm pissed!

One of the worst customer service I have experienced. When you call them. Theh have such cold answers that you would think why did you even call. I placed my order a d it's been 7 days it's showing label created. REALLY? Why you will not ship it? It should have arrived by now and still sitting at their warehouse.
Answer: Good luck with that! Once they make a sale that's it. Good luck getting in touch with a person. The brick and mortar store maybe easier to deal with, but the website is the worst. Don't do business with these guys online
