I came across the free introductory workshop online that was put on by the K9 Training Institute and figured that I had nothing to lose by attending. I found the material and the training method to be extremely valuable as I am in the process of training a 10-month-old Border Collie, Panda, that I recently adopted. He didn't have any prior training and if you've had any experience with Border Collies, then you know that they can be a handful due to their high intelligence and drive. Panda is quite independent and has a stubborn streak. The workshop was very informative and gave a thorough explanation and rationale for the method they use. I've been using the basic techniques that I learned in the workshop with Panda and I already see a positive change in him even though it's only been a few days since we began. I plan to enroll in their full workshop after the holidays and am looking forward to learning how to successfully transform Panda from a little monster to a model citizen. I highly recommend K9 Training Institute, the effective method they use, and the way they present it.
Very useful for me and my pet. I m very happy to get an amazing experience. I would like to keep connecting with you.
I love the materials presented in your webinar, I believe your training package is the solution to training my dogs.
I will like to know how to apply the training techniques to two small dogs, I need help with my 10 months old mini poodle
Easy to follow. Positive energy. I look forward to having a delightful relationship with my dog, especially being willing to adjust my training habits from previous two dogs.
I've had many dogs in my lifetime and have trained all of them and felt like I have a good grasp on how to train a dog, and even I learned new things in this webinar! Things that were simple, duh moments! Things that I'm now telling my kids to do in interacting with our 7month old labradoodle. It was definitely worth listening to even if you consider yourself a seasoned dog owner and trainer!
I love it. It helped me with me my dog. I love that you can sign up for free.
Finally someone understands that I want to get the job done, but I do have other responsibilities in my life. Everyday Weezee and I are building a stronger relationship based on respect. It is a life changer. Oh, Weezee is my 6 lb Shih Tzu, not my 120 lb wife
I really like your site but it is to expensive for me. I need to also have a computer to store the lessons.
Having had many dogs in my life and taking them to doggie school, I do know the value of a well trained dog. The before & after videos are great. I cannot make folders on my laptop. Price & being able to review the class are important to me. Angel would love the classes. She is a special little rescue dog that we got as a baby. Mutt was not a choice on your selection of dogs. There could be small mutt or large mutt or some other way to tell you what she is. Thank you for caring about our dogs. I am old, my husband just died, & Angel makes my life worth living.
Sincerely,
Martha Munger
I think it's a great experience that u dnt have to command ur dog to sit or lay stay where as your commands differ from other dog trainers
Looking forward to just start daycare right now. Communication through email has been amazing. Can't wait to set the date for a evaluation of his temperament.
Very good and informative videos and information. You really learn a lot from the lecture and videos
Awesome work shop Athena loved it. Help me too
Hope to do it again
Quite interesting and informative of course. Learning something new every day.
Everything makes perfect sense if you take the time, commit and remain consistent. Time well spent!
I adopted a rescue dog from Flagler Humane Society (wonderful organization) in the middle of August. She is a year old Chihuahua/Whippet mix and full of energy. She's very affectionate but has a bad habit of nipping the hand that feeds her. I learned how to change her behavior with very easy instructions from K-9 Institute. I look forward to increasing her good behavior and teaching her to behave everywhere.
I am very impressed with this information as my dog responds very well to verbal commands without a treat.
This has been very helpful with training and i can't wait to learn more.
I have been using the technique for me and to give my dog a job when she jumps up. I move forward ignoring the jumping up and I just keeping trucking forward. I did this a few times while telling her to get to bed. She knows where the bed is and after two or three tries, she is very young, she found the bed, in other words, she did her job. Which was going to bed. I love the process of training owners to comprehend that dogs need to have "jobs" to do and that they are happy having these jobs. That is new learning. As is not using the off or down command but instead plowing forward whilst telling the dog to get to bed, in my case. Excellent principles. And 10 mins per day consistently should bring about good behaviour. Thanks K9
