The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

Intro video caught my attention and interest, I do not yet have my puppy, he will be here April 3. Have devoured module 1 and look forward to doing homework.
The free information and videos were so helpful. It certainly showed me how I could do things better. I would love to take the master class. I just don't have the extra money at this time but if I get it in the future it would definitely be worth it to take this class.
We do volunteer dog transports, helping move dogs to new homes or rescues. This training helped me understand some of the behaviors of our passengers while giving me some tools to help them move from transporter to transporter. I'm looking forward to using the tips with Ginger, our little chiweenie stray that adopted us. Thanks so much!
The workshop was well presented and supported with good video demonstrations. Was worth it.
Good info. Been training adult dogs for a long time. Just got my first puppy in 25 years and this was very helpful. So many people try to convince me that the positive training techniques will never work. They're wrong. Thank you for the good advice!
I've been reading K9 daily emails and love the insight each provides into how I interact with my new puppy.
We havent had a pup for many years this helped you forget over time what is required to gain the pups respect
I've have and still trying several of the things presented in the training
Learning the small and simple tips have been enlightening and very helpful. Glad I found this site to help in teaching my puppy
This has given me useful tips on training my Chittenden puppy. Very informative!
Most have been positive. He is learning and so am I.
After listening to the preview we tried some of the techniques and for a 4and1/2 month old puppy he did pretty well. We look forward to learning more on how to train a dog with therapy techniques.
This course makes sense because it's based on dog behavior. I was impressed by the free training and am seriously considering getting the masterclass. Actually I'm 99 percent going to get it today!
Easy to follow and can review at anytime. Took all the guesswork out of the training for me. Didn't have to go to so many sources to get what I needed,
Though haven't yet implemented training, am pleased to see the collaboration. Am very interested as having inherited a 14 yr old PTSD service dog but know nothing of her training.
I was amazed how much I did not know regarding the training of a dog. Having raised 3 and on to my 4th I hope to amend my ways. I don't have to simply take bad behavior from my pet.
