The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

Our experience was extraordinary we all felt really cared for, especially Elvis so loved! Elvis returned home with high self esteem, ready to share his training with us, showing us how much he learned and so proud of it!
A "for ever"learning curb for Elvis,
We enjoy him and all he knows and how to listen to us! Our lives can be shared with our dog every day!
For ever we thank this wonderful training team at K9.

I have been through training before but not to this degree. So far the entire course has trained me to actually know my dog and his needs.
I cannot believe the difference just one day has made with Lola, my 14 month old german shepherd. She was giving me bruises on my arms from what I called love bites. I used to tell her NO! And push her away. That didn't help at all! Using your technique of ignoring her and turning my back to her, she got it! She not only stopped the love bites, she doesn't try to chew on my grown daughters feet either! She is also much calmer. It is almost like she was trained before but I got her from a shelter.
The free workshop offered contained very useful tips as we have started our journey with an 8 week old puppy! The blog posts also offered free have been some of the most useful training advice we have read online. Thank you!
I have a rescue who is in high anxiety mode almost all the time. She loves to lick and jump on you. I have started to implement the walk away and it's working. She is a work in progress. Thank you!
Found ot very interesting especially about the dogs need to have something to do.
I'm aware we found our dog in a very unhealthy situation, so I have good reason to suspect he has trauma triggers. Someone did care about him at some point though, because he came pretty much trained. The only thing I struggle with is the whining. Some days it's minimal, others it's constant; the decibel level gives me a migraine almost immediately. Also, as he grows old (we suspect he's maybe 4ish?) he's starting to ignore things he never has before in the 2 years we've had him. I wish I could commit to the full training - trust me - it's just not possible right now. If you ever have scholarships available, please let me know! Kari
I have not bought the program. I am currently in between dog ownership. BUT I have a family member that is working through the K9 program with a dog that will be a service dog. I am aware with the on-ground procedures that go into a service dog and this online program aligns perfectly with those procedures. Even if you do not need a service dog, everyone needs a dog with some manners instead of being out of control around people. I recommend this product because even the sample online video offers many ways to help train a dog, young or old, that would make people astonished with your pet. Dog owners should spend time with their pet; K9 guides people in many areas for even working owners to have well-manners dogs.
The introductory recording to the K9 Training Institute is so helpful. I can't wait to try it on my dog because I believe based on the evidence they presented during the recording that my dog will respond quickly to these techniques.
My experience with K9 Training Institute has been wonderful. Lots of information and tips to help my rescue, Petra, learn what is expected of her in and out of our home. We're very grateful for all of the dedication and effort put into all of the content and are excited to continue to implement all of it day by day going forward! 10/10!
I am very interested in joining an online class that you have going that is on special but I have to wait until my pension comes in. I want my dog to be very obedient and of course totally house trained. She is part Yorkie and part pomeranian so I am told they learn really fast. I kind of believe it she seems very smart.

They were they were clear, professional, and knowledgeable, and seemed very interested in my dog, which impressed me when I receive my puppy. I plan on using them to help train her. They seem very trustworthy, which means a lot to me.
The first 20 minutes of the video is filled with practical and helpful advice for training a dog. It was clear and included great demonstration videos.
I have a fairly well behaved dog and now we have a new puppy. I was hoping by watching this video it would help make Larry's training a good experience. I believe that will be the case. Also after watching the video I believe there have been somethings we have changed with our adult dog and he has been very receptive.
Learning so much about training a dog the dog's behavior dog's personality and how to make the best life for the dog. Appreciate all your help
We have a German Shepherd who runs the house and I can't control her. I've watched the video and tried a few of the many tips given and it worked! Obviously, we still have a long way to go, but I'm excited to train her fully. Thank you!
We got our new puppy a week ago. He is 8 weeks old and full of life (and teeth). Your help has been wonderful. We are still working on the biting but he is getting better every day.
My companion, Alex, she has done extremely well with the training. She was a 17 week old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois with absolutely no training at all. I have had her for 3 weeks today. She now walks on a leash obeying the command "heel" very well. She only peed in the house 3 times in her first two days here. She plays "fetch" from the teachings she learned. Now we can start on some of the "in house" behavior. I have high hopes for her K9 Training endevors.
The training information was the best I've found to date. It goes into detail of how to begin training my dog Ozzy. Only 10 to 15 minutes a day spent on training. I learned the key is being consistent. Ozzy has been receptive to the techniques and is better behaved already.
I have not signed up for the course yet, as I'm pending adoption, but I watched the entire video and I'm still drawing on what I learned from it. Upon adoption, I will pursue this further as I thought it was a great presentation.
