The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I've tried all kinds of things to help Kramer, my dog become calm & social. Nothing worked till now. Thank you
I have received any helpful tips and useful information to help train my poodle puppy. The only problem I have with it is they keep asking for more money, constantly trying to sell me things. I'm not a fan of that
I have used some of your techniques and have been amazed to watch Archie's progress. He is much more obedient and calmer. I woukd like to join the master class, but can not afford it at this time.
I'm already using the tips for jumping and pulling. Although my stubborn girl can still pull a plough, eventually I think the walking away will work.
I opened the Free dog training thinking I would see an ad to buy a training manual or something. How very wonderful to actually get some excellent training tips I could start using right away. Plus they sent me some more in my email. Very helpful.
I have watched their intro video and found it very informative. They seem to be very professional and offer support. Their email follow-ups are friendly without being pushy and I would imagine the total course to be well worth the value and would produce great results.
I just rescued my dog, Zeke and he seemed to have had some training. He walked at my side and looked up at me without a leash which is highly unusual for a rescue. I was trying to teach him sit, stay, etc but he wasn't quite getting it until I accidentally touched my right shoulder to scratch it. He sat immediately. I was unaware of which hand signals ment what so I started investigating on the internet when I came across the free video. I am trying to absorb as much as I can to catch up to Zeke's training. He is a wonderful dog and I have learned from him. He is a 1 1/2 yer old mix Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever.
I love all the techniques, so easy to follow
Hunter enjoys learning and wants to please mom
Have put into practice of moving into Shelley's space and not looking at her. In a day she started to get the message.
Thanks to K9 I now have a better understanding of why Enzo behaves the way he does. Together we are both changing our behaviour & making it fun during our retraining process HaHa. Now we're having good behaviour & lots of good interaction with visitors. It's a pleasure to see how fast the results happen when you know what your doing. A great investment for Enzo's happiness.
I have been adopting the tips from the free workshop and Thor is already making great progress. He is trained as a Deer Dog, tracking deer and as such, pulls massively on the lead and has relatively poor recall. Providing him with jobs to do maintains his focus and the touch tactic is improving his recall all the time. I would love to subscribe to the remainder of the course however, cannot stretch the budget at the moment. Maybe in the future.
Very good in explaining the course and teaching how it would work. What i really liked was that he took his time to see how the puppies would react to each other and how he would be training them. Other people would come sign and leave but he changed the meaning of good customer service. He took his time with us and the dogs.
I just signed up for the program. I have a 4 month old mixed breed( part collie I think) puppy. I am excited to start the program
I'm only just enrolling on the master class but just the introductory videos have helped me already I'd forgotten how I taught my adolescent assistance dog through body language but then it all went to chaos when he had a drug reaction leaving him with ptsd making him anxious in public so I started mantrailling with him which is highly successful giving him a job to do but i miss the walks in the park so using body language and his watch and touch commands again has calmed him down enormously so I'm hoping for huge success from the rest of the master class thank you
So many helpful tips on how to train my puppy. I have never had a puppy and I will take all the help I can get.
I have a well behaved and obedient dog. However, there are a few little behaviours I wanted to work on and this workshop has given me a few great working examples and insights on how to address them.
