They detected money from my account twice. I paid over 100$ for nothing. They said they will charge 56$. When I asked fir detection doublr they were just sorry for that. There is no accountability for that. Very disappointing

The site is not upfront with their pricing. I was told that there would only be a $5 refundable fee for the service however I was charged a $5 membership fee which was not refunded to me upon request, plus another $39 membership which was a surprise to me. I contacted their customer service and this is what they answered me:Unfortunately, all membership fees are non-refundable. It was indicated on our website before you key in your card information. That's also clearly stipulated on the Terms and Conditions that you accepted before using our service. Memberships that are cancelled within the membership period will not have pro-rated billing, refunds or other credits also subject to be in a pay per question basis.
Do you have any agreement from me that shows I have requested or agreed to a monthly membership for $39 a month?

Did a 1$ deal, canceled my membership directly after (took screenshot) then a month later my card is chatged 34$ (luckly it was not an okayed charge so it didnt go through) checked the site and it tells me my membership was canceled now on a different day (so I take screenshots) wake up today to another charge this morning of the same amount checked the site and now my membership says it was canceled today the 29th which contradics all the other screenshots! Horrible horrible

In chat bot they specified 5 dollar refundable amount. Once we gave card details they have charged for monthly subscription which was not specified in the chat. Don't loot people money. Please charge genuinely. Don't say in next page we have mentioned those details. In that case why you are specifying about refundable amount in specific. Don't mention that also. With out reading reviews in Google I just went ahead with the payment and lost 50 dollars. When I reach customer care they are disabling the chat. Wow what a service. If you run your business in same way I long run it will not work out. You may get some amount now in un ethical way. But once every one knows about you you are gone. In chat only mention it is subscription fee. Wo ever wants to purchase subscription they will only continue. This is very cheap.Many people are looted like this. I am just reading all reviews.

I engaged and hoped to benefit from what I thought might be a good service. They said $2 to pose a question and then proceeded to charge me $79 without me knowing it. Customer service refused to refund and disconnected and I have seen multiple reviews noting this service does this to their customers. So unfortunate.

I have tried a number of times to get help about a 20V Dewalt Leaf Blower problem. Twice it tried to redirect me to a small gas engine specialist. I could not work around the AI algorithm. I kept getting the exact same respone.
The next time instead of "Dewalt Leaf Blower" I typed "20V Dewalt Leaf Blower". It could not grasp the fact that it was not a computer problem.
This site is a complete waste of time. It's only purpose is to get $2.00 out of you.

I signed up with these guys in November, paid the membership fee, asked one question and the answer was 'any attorney should be able to answer your question.' Seriously, that was their answer. I cancelled the membership immediately on the website, and watched it cancel. I got another charge yesterday for next month's membership. I called in and the response was can you prove it? Did you get an email confirmation that it cancelled? No, I didn't. Well, so I am told, apparently I didn't cancel correctly or completely, and none of the membership charges are refundable, period. So my lesson for $85 was someone can tell you that anybody can help you and after that, customer service says you can just go fish. Be careful.

I used this site several months and paid $37 for advice on my HVAC problem. Answer was very insufficient and did not work. Since then I have been charged $37 per month even though I did not sign up for the monthly fees and never used the site again. I have tried to get a refund of these monies but the customer service person said there was nothing available. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was promised a call back but did not receive a call back from him/her. Big ripoff for no service rendered.

I joined to ask a question and then received the bill for almost $50 for the answer in which I already knew the process discussed. I will say though the ability to actually chat or speak with a lawyer is comforting if it is a lawyer that you're chatting with.

Our non-profit organization joined JustAnswer November 10,2022 because of an issue we were having with Zoom Meetings. The issue was never resolved after hours of trying. At my request we decided to try again the next day. But before that could happened, we further investigated the matter ourselves and found that it was not a technical issue but rather a new feature by Zoom. We decided that we really didn't need JustAnswer tech support at this time and so we cancelled the membership December 12,2022. However, December's payment was still processed. When I called and spoke with a customer representative as to why, his answer was because we cancelled after the 10th. We can certainly understand that. However, although we cancelled December 12th and the payment was processed to cover the full mouth of December, then why does the tech support stop immediately without any refund? If we are paying $55.00 for a month of tech support, it only seems fair and right that our service should be covered for the entire month and not just for the two days. Therefore, as we are conscientious consumers, we cannot and will not recommend JustAnswer to any person or organization until they take a closer look at this business practice.

Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
