I contacted them and asked if I could get a prescription for an anti-inflammatory medication. The AI or person chatting explained nothing except sent a link for completing a form. It also had no explanation but was a form to charge me $5.00. I figured I would get to ask a live person if they could help me with my request and if yes, then I would be quoted a charge a reasonable fee. After I submitted the "$5.00", someone called and she told me they couldn't help me. I thanked her and thought that was the end of it. The next day I found out that they charged me $51 and would be charging me $46 monthly. Mind you, I have not clue what specific services they provide, did subscribe to any membership and only authorized a $5 charge. I was on the site for about 3 minutes and spoke to someone for about 1 minute. I subsequently contacted them 3 times and each time, their second response was to tell me to fill out a form for refund. The form their link took me to each time was that initial form that fraudulently charged my card. Then the site that I iniated the request for a refund would stop working. I promise you, thanks to me, this company will be the most well known telemedicine service ever, but the popularity will be their worse nightmare. I will make sure no one use them ever! Services should be honest and ethical, not crooks.
Shocking experience from a "legal" support. They said they would charge me $5 for a question being answered and then had hidden T's & C's that also bill you for a month's membership. My question NEVER got answered, I just got the headache of having to try get my money back.
The support box locks and you're unable to ask any further questions for help. Then when you follow the maze to try find support again, they tell you that you're stupid for not reading the T's and C's and advise you not to give credit card info out online. ONLY SOLID LEGAL ADVICE RECEIVED!
They will give you money back after trying to sell you a whole story as to why they aren't a scam and who has supported them. After then belittling you some more, they will keep trying to tell you that you consented to pay them.
Insist. Insist. Insist. And eventually you will get a full refund.
Absolutely shocking - I wish I could give -5 stars! This company shouldn't be allowed to operate. And anyone who advocates for this phishing practice is absolutely shocking too.

Site advertises get an answer to a question - in my case trying to get a valuation of a painting I own - for $5. Unbeknownst to me they also charged me a $65 membership fee. This is a monthly charge that will continue until you cancel.
Sadly the "expert" they paired me with had no knowledge of the type of painting I had and ended up vastly undervaluing it. He didn't do any research to find the answer, just took a guess.
Deceptive and not worth the money.

I asked a question and was told to join for $1 and would be charged $46 a month until I cancel. Joined to continue speaking with an expert and the expert responded quickly. Wasn't much help but worth giving it a shot for $1. Then my account says I was charged the $1 and $46. When I spoke to customer service, they said I had a non trial account, even though that was not mentioned or shown any other option for a trial account and they wouldn't refund my money. I wouldn't recommend anybody use this service unless you need to get answers regularly

There is a HIDDEN membership fee which you unknowingly sign up for if you agree to their small fee to answer your question. And it's no small amount either. I was charged RM5 for my question to be answered by an expert, which I was fine with. Weeks later, I check my account and find I was charged RM196 by Just Answer. I canceled my "membership" immediately to avoid further charges. When I complained to their customer service, they just said I agreed to it when I gave them my billing info. Apparently it's all there. Yes, the RM5 is prominently displayed to lure you in but the huge membership fee is deliberately obscure. These people are greedy and want your credit card info. DO NOT agree to pay anything even if it seems harmless. It's daylight robbery if you do.

They promised me and others a R15 refundable amount to ask a question. I agreed. Gave credit card details. Next thing R365 was taken off. Without my permission. And also you need to check all your emails and somewhere in very small print they state they will be charging you every month.

The live chat lady said it was a $2 refundable charge to keep asking questions, and it automatically charged me $86 Australian dollars. When you ask a question, the lawyer asks for a phone call which will cost you another $85! When I found that they had deducted money from my account, and cancelled the subscription immediately, the service lady said very sorry. I argued that I didn't know there was a hidden membership charge, and she stopped the conversation suddenly.

Please proceed with extreme caution when utilising this website service. They offer a refundable $2 fee, without fully explaining what they are actually taking from your bank account! And then, without full knowledge, a monthly charge seems to be drawn from credit cards, that are not really explained well at the time of asking your questions? Please just be careful, as they cut off the service without offering to complete the month that is paid for! Their customer service people are a little deceptive in nature, and the advice actually recieved was very very wrong! So please be careful!

They show only a 2$ charge to post the question but there is a hidden fee of $53 monthly. I contacted customer services as soon as I realized it, but they disconnected in the middle of the chat saying I was not responding. I was replying to them and I was typing, it was not even 30 seconds of delay.
The second time I contacted they were reluctant to refund me even though I made a purchase a few minutes ago and had not used their service. They eventually refunded $53 monthly fee but not 2$ fee when I told them I will call my bank and report this fraud.
I should have read other people's reviews on Quora or something.

I used JustAnswer for the first and only time at 3AM on 22 Sep 2023 (east Australian time) regarding a leg injury that was bleeding heavily. The Drs Basu and Ardeel on duty advised me to go to a hospital emergency department.
During the interaction, I gave my credit card details and was charged $2 on 23 Sep 2023, $66 on 26 Sep 2023 and $66 on 26 Oct 2023 plus international transfer fees.
This business is not the open information service that it proclaims to be as the business model appears to set out to gather Membership revenue from unwitting clients in an emergency situation, who go on to never use the advisory service again but keep paying the monthly subscription until they wake up to this racket.
In my case, the decent thing to do would be for JustAnswer to reimburse AU$132 but for others so deceived, there should be a reminder - perhaps an email - with every account draw down transaction.
I see that a response from JustAnswer refers to a reminder email being sent 3 days prior to a monthly fee being taken; this was not the case in my experience.
Clearly, JustAnswer has a stake in playing down the subscription payments and retaining inactive members for as long as possible.
If this model is not illegal, it should be. It is deceptive and if the service is so appreciated by the reviewers who write favourably, there would be no need for such veiled practices.

I was not only overcharged by this business for a fee on their website, which was also an incredibly deceptive and awful marketing scheme. Their online chat says that you pay a $1 fee plus a $55 membership fee, which is still under $60. When you pay on their regular online page for legal advice, it is $5 plus a $45 membership fee. Somehow I was charged a $60 membership fee PLUS the $5, which is not stated anywhere. In addition, the answer to my question was generic, not helpful, and quite literally reiterated what I was told by my apartment complex regarding how to handle the situation that I was dealing with. The website says specifically that you are entitled to a refund if you are not satisfied with the answer from the lawyer, and yet I am still not being offered a refund. Their website is deceptive and they are not following through with the exact information that they note on their website.

I called to cancel my membership. The CS agent stated she couldn't help me and I asked to speak for to the supervisor. She lied and said that the supervisor told he was in a meeting. And she proceed to hang up, then I can back and the new CS lied and she was investigating my complaint. What could you be investigating, if your on the phone with me. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
