Blower Motor

My blower motor stopped working in our 2005 Chevy SilveradoTruck. When the engine was off and the key out the motor still ran. I new that if the motor kept running it could run the battery down. It was a Saturday afternoon and no motor technicians were available. I called JustAnswer's sitejabber for what to do. The technician was so very helpful and stayed with me until I was able to take care of the problem.

Michael was a great help. He took the time to locate the links on amazon for the products I needed. He is an asset to your customer service. Didn't like the set up of payment. I can see $1 to join,but $$55 a month after that. How many times a month does the average customer call for service? I guarantee you you will have alot of cancellations

All responses are to get your money. I even paid the money and they were still generic responses not applicable to the information I was providing them and passed me onto a lawyer, and after talking to the lawyer, he stated he not really a lawyer.

Calling for help.

I had trouble understanding how to make my buttonhole attachment make a longer buttonhole. While waiting for someone to help, I began to read my Bernia booklet again. I think I worked out the problem. About the time someone came on, my thread broke and I wasn't able to connect. I think I can make it work now. Thank you for being there.

I was transferred to JustAnswer from a Moen plumbing fixture chat site. I was looking for information about an installation problem with a specific Moen product. JustAnswer said that I would be charged a $5 membership fee and a $40 monthly fee thereafter. The answer from the plumbing expert was that I should submit a warranty claim to Moen. I wanted to share a photo of the connection problem that necessitated my call, but the attachment feature in the JustAnswer chat did not work--it simply gave the file size limit and did not allow me to upload a photo.

If the "expert" had provided actual expertise or if the site had permitted him to analyze my specific problem, I wouldn't consider the combined $45 fee to be unfair compared to calling an actual plumber. But it's unconscionable that your company is charging me $45 for what's essentially non-assistance.

I will advise friends and family members against having anything to do with JustAnswer, because for me, your "service" has been an utter rip-off.

HP Printer problem

I have 3 separate emails from Just Answer, so I am sending this response to all 3.
First of all, I want to thank you for trying to solve the problem of my HP printer "losing" the network. Your suggestions to reboot the router, computer and printer were good, as was downloading HP's Print and Scan Doctor, however nothing worked. I even tried to delete and then re-install the printer, and that didn't work. I am not faulting Just Answer because I know you did your best and even followed up, which I appreciate.
I wound up hiring a local technician from Hello Tech, who was able to restore the network connection. He left instructions should the problem recur, and said I should consider directly cabling the printer to the router with a switch.
I am 79 years old and retired and I cannot afford a $55.00 monthly fee for possible future problems. Please unsubscribe me from the monthly service, or respond to indicate how I would need to unsubscribe if you cannot do it for me.
I will keep your information on file, because I believe Just Answer is a company that genuinely wants to help people.

Big surprise

Curiously, my problem got solved by outside help arriving unexpectedly. I was just at the stage where the JustAnswer expert tries to understand more about the problem. The questions were thoughtful, and I believe the experts would have, quickly, solved the problem.
