Reached out to Apple Help when l was charged for a free trial l had already cancelled. They said l needed to talk to someone with Tech & said there would be a $1 refunded fee. I agreed & gave my CC number. I was then connected to a chat session with JustAnswer. His advice-reinstall program then cancel it again! After disconnecting l checked my CC online. There was a $49 charge l was NOT notified of, did NOT approve or authorize. I IMMEDIATELY called my card company & said it was unauthorized & do NOT process it!

The SW tech did a great job sorting out all my confused logins, p/w's and questions. I wish he was my best friend as he was great about finding the route to the solution to the Bitlocked Windows. He also advised me to install malwarebytes.com to solve the initial issue that caused my W11 to lock up.
The advice I received was very helpful my puppy dog buster had a bruising coming from his ears very satisfied with the recommendation that he's given his ears are much better now
After confusion on how payment is applied for a trial, a response was quick and I received credit back on my credit card. My question was not able to get a helpful response but I hope others do better.

Tech was helpful and very informative. I was able to understand what he was talking about and he took his time to answer my questions. I feel much better prepared to go to the garage to have my vehicle worked on.

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
