I purchased a sterling silver ring from the Artisan Collection of Bali, item# SRA4040-7 on Sept. 27,2020. When my wife decide to wear the ring, it caused her finger to turn colors. My wife wears silver jewelry all the time, and it never happened to her before. When i contacted a representative of JTV, to explain what had happened, they informed me that the silver ring might have gone through a chemical processed. Is that a usual process for jewelry made of a precious metal such as silver? I also purchased a set of silver ear rings and a thick silver bracelet from the same collection. This was my first time making a purchase with JTV. I was not very pleased with the product for the money i spent.

I have been buying from JTV for about Three to Four years, I NEVER had an issue, and never sent anything back. Just received a 36 inch long stand of pearls, they are gorgeous! Can't say enough on how beautiful they are. A few months ago I ordered and 18 inch strand, they were gorgeous also. I also love JTV's black spinel, it's so sparkly, and rich looking. I purchased a ring on 11/8/2020 recieved on 11/17/20 on 11/27/2020 it was on sale for half price they would not do any kind of adjustment because that is only good for m2 weeks and it took a week to get it. Poor customer service anywhere else you have 30 days the supervisor was not helpful just said over and over nothing we will due now. I have spent alot of money will cut up card and never by from them again. Buyers be ware!

I've been purchasing from JTV for about three years and have had a wonderful experience. I really don't understand all the negative reviews. I love the diversity of jewelry they carry, and have purchased from a lot of their collections. I have had to return items occasionally, but this has always been promptly dealt with or replaced. Bought a channel set diamond ring. Have been at my local jewelry store 3 times now for diamonds that have fallen out. Jewelry is trash I have spent more on repairs then this ring is worth. Stick with reputable companies their stuff is cheap for a reason. Like jeweler said you get what you pay for

The negative reviews here shock me! I collect large diamond gold jewelry and I have never been disappointed in a JTV purchase. I purchased a ring and returned it to JTV. My tracking no. Shows they received the item, however, according to customer service they tell me they did not receive it.
I have jumped through hoops to provide them the documentation they requested. I spoke with USPS and they gave me a firm no. To give to JTV. It is a number that USPS provides to JTV on a daily basis that shows the items that have been delivered to them. Seems JTV will not crosscheck it to verify delivery.
I received an email today saying they will not refund my $2000 because they do not have the item, even when my tracking no. Shoes they received it.
They want me to file a claim with USPS and do their work for the.!

I ordered DOD485,0.40CTW white diamond 10K yellow gold studs. Within 48 hrs of receiving the discovery of the broken backing on my floor and the one earring was now gone. I called JTV and was totally disappointed in the answers I received as a solution, that I could not return it, I could buy another pair, they would take another 20 percent off. I feel that any company should honor their craftsmanship, of their workmanship, if the workmanship is faulty, and in this case it was, otherwise the earring backing should never have broken, I would still have 2 earrings instead of only one..

I send back a ring within one day of recieving in mail, I called a week ago to make sure they had it and they did I called again a week later customer service told me they were behind in processing due to I don't know what she said at that point because I had tuned her out she than told me it would be another week to return to my card!

So, I purchased a ring from JTV in march of this year. In August the whole top piece of the ring fell off! I was devastated and hurt. I was reassured that they will repair the ring and or send me a refund. I sent the ring with the instruction given to me. I have now been told that they do not have the ring I sent back. I contacted the UPSP to gather the info for the track (I lost the tracking but was able to redeem it). I provided the tracking info to JTV. It clearly shows that the package was scanned into their warehouse and was received on 08-28-20. JTV can't find it and instead of refunding me, they are telling me that I have to go through a bunch of procedures as if I misplaced the item. I have purchase another ring from this site. I have had many customer reps tell me they will have a supervisor call me back and never did. No one cares about my item or my loss of money. I am being handed over and processed and not treated like a valued customer. I have been waiting on hold for a supervisor for over an hour.

I've been a loyal customer of JTV for 20+ years. Of course there have been things I returned over those years... Heck I've returned items to Kohl's etcetera. They have the greatest customer service folks! Always go above and beyond. The mark up on gemstone jewelry is 500% NORMALLY. They don't have to do this. But hey... Bought 2 rings over the last few months. Each one had to be exchanged due to damaged stones! Very frustrating. Quality control needs to step up when shipping jewerly.

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods.
