I worked at JTV, and all the negative comments here are spot-on. Hosts show the best items on TV, and you get whatever they grab first in filling the order. JTV inspects only 20 percent of its inventory. So, if they have 1000 of a certain ring, only 200 are looked at. Chances are, you are going to get one of the other 800 no one has even touched, and given most of their items are from China or Taiwan, what kind of quality do you think is present? Junk. And all of these responses from Tim M, the CEO, yeah right. I guarantee he doesn't write them. He wouldn't waste his time on something so trivial. They're canned replies a flunky types.
I ordered a turquoise pendent in early April and kept it for Mother's Day. I wanted to show my daughter and she noticed a stone was missing. I called and it had to be sent back by May 3 so I looked for the box and in the little plastic bag I found the stone. I do not think items are checked before being sent out which is disappointing. I have ordered rings which I the find out they catch on every thing. Why are they not checked before being sen. I am almost afraid to order any more jewelry from JTV

I have returned several rings as JTV does not have white graded diamonds
Nikki always toots her own horn on how experienced she is.
I ordered a white diamond ring that she claimed was beautiful only to have my jeweler laugh at the grade of the stones.

Couple years ago I brought this pendant from jtv 4/10/21 is day I wore it
Upon looking at it good I noticed the quality gets a big fat F the pendant is not aligned up right. Ithought I was tripping thought my mind was playing tricks on me, Until I had lunch with a friend all of sudden she lean in toward me she said pretty pendant but is not line up right. She notice it too I took it off at that point. It is a pretty pendant that can I never rock it again. Pay attention to the jerwerly always return it if you don't like I am stuck with it had it since 2018 never wore til 2021. I still will shop with them i will just pay close attention before I trash the receipt.

I purchased several red labradorite stones that turned out to be heated several years ago and when i sent them back for a refund they never gave me a refund or my money back. They owe me thousands in refunds and they have my stones. They are crooks!

I ordered a ring and since i only live 30 mins away from JTV... Was hoping that it would be here quickly. Well they put my time sensitive ring on the wrong pallet. It went all around the country and finally came back to me. Which was not in time to be given as a gift. I talked to customer service guy and he basically told me to get over it. Never did he offer to compensate me. Ive had a issue with other companies that offered a discount for the trouble. They should do that before they loose all their customers.

Returned two items for EXCHANGE. Both times I was charged for the shipping. Websites clearly states that if EXCHANGING item you are not charged shipping. They tell you they want you to be satisfied but they don"t correct their mistakes. I tried emails and phone calls, I still do not have the purchased items.
This is not a good company to do business with.

I was totally shocked when I stumbled across this site and saw so many negative reviews. I have purchased a good deal of jewelry from JTV, and wii continue to to do so happily and without hesitation. I've bought fine quality jewelry, as well as costume pieces, including diamonds and gemstones and freshwater pearls. I have been absolutely blown away by the beauty and value of what I have purchased. I have been searching for 20+ years to find a tanzanite ring with good tanzanite color at a price I felt comfortable with. The attached photo is of my December 2020 purchase from JTV. Is it the best color tanzanite I have ever seen? Nope, but it also didn't have a price tag of 45k. I also enjoyed the knowledge of gemstones that the hosts share with us, as well as the opportunity to see gemstones that I have never heard of or seen anywhere else. Rutilated quartz is unusual, beautiful, available and affordable from JTV. If you buy a $49 diamond ring you are not going to get flawless, colorless diamonds. If you expect the highest quality at rock bottom prices, it ain't gonna happen. But if you want beautiful jewelry at prices regular people can afford, you cannot go wrong shopping JTV. I have also returned several items, mostly because I found something else I liked more. The process couldn't be easier, and I have had nothing but courteous and knowledgeable service reps when I have needed help.

I purchased Bella Luce Rhodum Sterling tennis bracelet and the clasp
Was loose on the first one. I returned it to be repaired or to get a new one with a tighter clasp. To no aval the same thing happened and I ended up losing it. So I'm paying for something I no longer have. I recommend you purchase the insurance If you do purchase it.

Have spent much $ over the years; mostly disappointed by low quality of gems (many are cracked) or the "gold" color on top of brass or silver very often starts to disappear almost immediately. 14k gold prices comparative with other sites, so no bargain there. Only positive were Tahitian pearl items that seemed to be less expensive than at other sights, but you have to know your prices. If you actually manage to speak to CSR, person promises to give a credit, but i've never actually gotten a promised credit. Hard to connect with anyone who has interest in helping customer, so i've stopped ordering.

I have ordered at least 30 or more pieces of jewelry from JTV in the form of rings, earrings and pendents. I have been more than pleased with most every piece I have bought. Since you only buy jewelry for looks anyway all that I have bought is beautiful and looks real even if it isn't. And I love the colored stones, great quality at affordable prices. I really am constantly getting complements on my pendents especially. I would for the most part give JTV 5 stars but I have had 2 rings that have lost a stone but one I sent back and one is being fixed. And a few I have returned because the color wasn't quite the same as it looked on the computer but they were lovely pieces. This happens with anything you order on line. So to me it is a great place and I love the choices.

These pieces are fairly decent copies of much more expensive jewelry. I have ordered from them three times and shipping is ALWAYS A PROBLEM. Items can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. Now they are telling me it is because of Covid. There was NO COVID THE OTHER TIMES. I ordered two items over a month in advance as birthday presents they are not here. The last I heard I will have to wait another week to claim non delivery and then they will think about a refund.

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
