I think it is disgraceful how they have a team of people posting FAKE five Star Reviews anywhere and everywhere possible, moreover they control weather or not an actual customer review gets posted to their site or not. Furthermore there is no purchase verification system in place in order to post a review on JTV's site. So what does this mean... ANYONE CAN WRITE A REVIEW ABOUT ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS regardless if you actually purchased the item or not as long as you provide a genuine email address and make your review a positive one... it will get posted. So what has happened here is they have staff posting fake 5 star reviews on everything they sell. They omit (never publish) a majority of the negative customer reviews and the small percentage(of genuine negative customer reviews) that they do allow to slip by they immediately counter balance the numbers by posting 10 fake 5 star reviews to erase and bad ones. IT IS DISGRACEFUL! Look at Googles reviews about them... it's 4.8 out of 5 stars and you can clearly see where the same unknown person who is identified only as "REVIEWER" has posted multiple 4 star reviews over and over and over all with the same time stamp... it is so sickeningly OBVIOUS and it makes me sick! This jewelry is CHEAP CHINESE CRAP and the plating wears away in a week... BUYER BEWARE

Dupped

Their jewelry is WAYYY OVER PRICED, CHEAPLY made, and POOR quality for 10-14K gold. Ring break (split) in less than a month. They do not like to refund money for item(s) that were not received by purchaser (account holder). Customer service agrees to refund. You sign the claim, send it back and get denied a refund and expect you to file a police report on someone you don't know, never heard of, mystery. But they still want to take your money (stretch pays) out of your bank account for 5 months. NOT MY MONEY! They are thieves. Better Business Bureau.

Improving

I have been shopping with jtv for at least 20 years. I have seen them improve in the last few years. To me, their CS is much improved as is QC. The biggest issue I've had is the sizing of some rings. When I order a 7, it fits like a 6. I've never had an issue returning or exchanging. Most orders I qualify for free shipping. They've even started having coupon codes again and unlike another network, they work!

I Asked to speak to a supervisor they said they don't allow that! Do not purchase anything from JTV IF YOU HAVE ANY APPREHENSION! The JTV is a scam their jewelry is not worth a

Cheap ring!

I purchased the ring three years ago. It had a warranty. I sent it back to replace the stone that fell out before the warranty was over. Sent it back a year later but the ring band had turned dark. I sent it back hoping they could or would be able to make it look better. They called and replacing the stone was resonsible but would not guarantee the out come of the band. I could not see spending more money on a CHEAP RING!

Bait and switch

I purchased a sleeping beauty turquoise ring. The ring I received did not look like the ring that was on TV and online. It was a very, very dark color. Sleeping beauty is a very light color. I feel they are deceiving people.

Missing Stones

I have bought a lot of rings with matching pendants and earrings. I love how they looked when I received them. After wearing just a few times they are now missing stones. They will do nothing for you if you don't purchase the extra insurance for them. Now I have earrings and pendants but no rings, I have at least four rings missing stones. Ver disappointed! I would not give them a rating of one they should not even be in business! You are not getting what they are saying you are getting as far as the price you are paying full price if not more. You are also paying shipping and handling every single time. They are trying to charge me three times more than what I should have to pay. They treat people like they're stupid and will try to blame it on the person. I even received three things that were the same out of two different orders I never even ordered. Then they tried to say I ordered them no I did not. I don't appreciate being treated like this by any company. Or whoever they may be. They may be scammers. I'm not sure. But do not trust this place whatsoever I promise you you will regret it. They lost a lot of business from me and my mother. Including other people I had told them about but I've called them all back and warned them do not do it. Unless you've got a lot of money to spend do not trust the sales or the blowouts or whatever they want to call it. Because you are not getting them as I said. Just want to warn you

Diversity

This channel has failed to be inclusive when it comes to diversity of their show hosts. I have watched them for over 15 years and only once for a very short while did they actually have a woman of color as a host. They constantly show the minority helpers to kind of say we have some. QVC HSN and a host of other shopping channel has long long long ago have been diverse. This company should stop catering to their southern watchers and get on the van wagon of diversity.

Bad experience with JTV and return/ exchange
February 14, 2022

Be very careful you fully understand how JTV handles exchanges and/ or returns. I purchased a red diamond ring form them in November 2021 that was missing several stones. I returned It for repair or exchange. They did nothing but send back the exact same ring with the stones missing. I returned it again for exchange. Today, February 14,2022 after several chat sessions with what they call customer service I get a call saying they do not exchange jewelry. They give you credit for what you paid and you may purchase the item again. Well, the item now will cost more money than the original purchase. Buyer beware of these sharks!

Customer service is poor! Wait Times are long! Representatives are foriegn! Their English is less than adequate! The web site works occasionally= sales is fine, everything else is poor!
Beware prices are less if you do web searches on similar to exact same merchandise= often LESS! Much less!

Disappointed

Put item in cart, In the process of checking out and item was taken from me. Can't even get 10 minutes to check out. I guess it's all about money and who's the quickest. Don't want to shop with a company like that! I'll spend my money with a company that at least gives you time to checkout!

I didn't even bother to read the negative reviews because something's real strange with a rating this low. I am not an employee, nor do I know anyone that works for JTV. I'm just a consumer that has bought tons and tons of jewelry from them and I'm telling you there's not any online site, television, or jewelry store that has as good of prices, or offers as good of gem stone quality jewelry as JTV, bar none. Who else let's you pay out a Tanzanite, Morganite, blush garnet, opal, amethyst, or diamond ring out in 4 to 12 months and that's not doing a credit check? They give you 30 days to check out your purchase, so
You can take it to any Jeweler and have it appraised if you like, and if you don't like what they say you can send it back and get all your money back. Just remember there's a lot of Jewelers out there that maybe don't like JTV because they can't match or beat their prices. They don't charge right now to ship to you but
If you choose to send something back you will have to pay a $6.99 return shipping fee. That alarm is cheaper than anybody else. But the main thing is where on Earth are you going to find this kind of beautiful rare gem stone quality jewerly without having to go all over the world. People go to JTV and look for yourself. I can guarantee you'll be happy. Remember this is JTV not The Jewelry Channel. I'm wondering if some people are getting the two mixed up? I've included some photos of a few pieces of jewelry I've purchased from them. Good luck

Deceptive practices

I ordered from JTV for the first (and last) time. I used a code that said I would get $25 off an order of at least $50 AND receive a $10 Kroger gift card in the package. The ring I bought is beautiful but I did not get the gift card. Customer service told me I used the wrong code- but I entered the one on the flyer and I got $25 off so how was that the wrong code? I would be very careful ordering from this company.

Buyer Beware!

My husband bought a ring from JTV and paid $8000. 00 for it for our anniversary wanting to surprise me. It was a surprise alright, I went to several reputable jewelry stores and every single jeweler appraised the value of this ring at less than $500.00, tried to return it but unfortunately it was past the 30 day return time. The jewelers told me we had really been taken. My poor husband who was in very poor health wanted to leave me with something special. I am sick over it, he thought I would be able to sell it if I had to for more money because JTV said it would increase in value. Liars. I tried to get legal help but no one wanted to take this company on and it would cost too much. Stay away from these crooks.

I purchased 2 rose gold bands at the same time. 1 plain and 1 with diamonds. I started to wear the plain band while holding the diamond band for my wedding band to match my engagement ring. Within a week my band turned yellow gold with no pink color left. I called customer service and they DID promptly take care of it and refunded me. I reluctantly just started wearing my wedding band and hoped it was better quality. It is also turming yellow gold after a few weeks. These were NOT listed plated but it seems they may be. Be cautious if you are looking for a nice pink gold these look good for a short time. I don't think they are pure.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am giving them a ONE STAR because I couldn't give them 0. Last year I bought something online and I NEVER received my order. I called and they did NOTHING for me. I chose to give them a second chance this year for Christmas and ONCE AGAIN they disappointed me. They cancelled my order without even giving me the courtesy to send me an email. It was for my mother's Christmas present and now I have to scramble a day before Christmas to get something for her. I am BEYOND upset with how they have handled this situation. I demanded to speak with a supervisor and was told that they're "too busy." TOO BUSY TO GIVE AN UPSET CUSTOMER AN ANSWER OR SOLUTION?! SERIOUSLY! Beyond disappointed with JTV and will NEVER buy from them again. I had put a couple people onto JTV and I will be letting everyone I know not to buy from here.
