I'm a high school senior, and a plus sized person. I wanted a pair of the sweatpants josten's offers. I order a 3x, which should be a bigger size than I need. I got them, and they are to small and barely stretch. I can't get them pass my thighs, and they are also very long. It pretty obvious that their "3x" was meant for tall people and plus sized people. Very disappointing.
Good luck placing, paying or receiving any sort of customer service. I wish Balfour had the high school contracts! WHAT A NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY!
How is this practice of being the only cap and gown provider not a monopoly endorsed by the schools?
Not to mention, you are required to buy the upswell of their invitations that look like crap.
$295 for cheap polyester and cheaper card stock.
F-Jostens
Good quality. I used them from m Good quality and used them for my past 2 diploma frames. I would use them again in.the future.
This company should be ashamed of themselves. I ordered cap and gown for my child's graduation and they added $12.00 service fee. Really? You are doing nothing extra that sending it to my child's school along the with all the other students cap and gown. This company should not be able to sell.
Wanted a refund from making payments on my daughters class ring and decided to cancel it do to my bill being a different price every other month. A month later still waiting for them to process my refund. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company…..
I've been trying to order my cap & gown multiple times since the school posted the link & I might end up not even being able to be in the graduation ceremony with my cap & gown since we have it virtual & have to submit our graduation pics by a deadline, because after putting in address, I click continue, but it doesn't continue; it stays stuck on that. I called customer service & it took so long to get through, the lady tried on her end & said it was doing the same thing & putme on hold to check with another employee, but the call went to an automated customer review line. I called back, long time to get through but a guy finally answered & he gave me a very bad attitude, practically yelling at me saying your graduation isn't until December & your deadline to order isn't until November 2nd, which is only a couple weeks away. The site says it takes 2-3 weeks to ship, so I might not even be able to get the cap & gown in time for my graduation because I have a deadline to put in pictures for our virtual graduation & mail delivery is so slow where it's taken at least 4 weeks just to receive mail from the zip code right next to mine. I might as well order a cap & gown from somewhere else if I want to be in the ceremony. I reported them to the school on a phone call, but I don't even know is they can do anything other than contact them but the lady from Jostens was having the same issues with their system. Schools need to cut this company because it's not worth missing one of the most special occasions of your life, your college graduation, just because their company can't get it together
I like how I was charged a 5 dollar service and delivery fee even though it's getting delivered to the school with 400 other caps and gowns. Enjoy the $2000 "delivery fee". Also I can't even submit feedback on their website using the button to "submit feedback". Good job!
When I tried to order my daughter's yearbook, I kept getting a script error or the page would not advance. I tried calling customer service but could not talk to someone. If you select yearbooks, your only option is to pay. I tried the corporate office and they sent me to customer escalation so obviously they have a lot of complaints to have a department with this name. Will recommend our school go to another vendor.
When u eat at a company u want to go where they have a 5 star review, then why would u use a photo company that has a one star review i could not tell u why. My childs school switched to this company last yr and it has been nothing but headaches... from the glare from the camera in my childs glasses to my child was not even posed in the picture straight he was standing at a sideways angle, would of gotten them retaken but with everything that was going on with covid they kept pushing back to picture retake day, so i gave up and paid 18.00 for the smallest package i could get. I pray this years picture is better then last yr if not ill find someone else to take the pic and summit it for the yr book etc.
Jostens has a monopoly over schools & therefore tries to take complete advantage of customers. When ordering a yearbook, all the options are already pre-selected, greatly increasing the price of the order beyond the base price. The customer has to ensure they UNSELECT the extras to get the base price. Then there's the nice service fee added to the total at the end.
My first order never arrived and i received a UPS notification they had sent my package to someone else in colorado. They acted like they were doing me a favor and shipping me a new one at "no cost". When I finally received mine, it was dented on the top frame. The box had no damage and perfectly wrapped. The company shipped me the thing damaged. The coin was off canter. Also the website shows a tassle. There is no fine print that says the tassle is not included. I assumed since the picture shows a tassle, that I would have a matching one with my associated college. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to your local shop like micheals or hobby lobby, etc.
Ordered All-in-One Announcement Bundle early as part of a "special" price. Had ordered the same thing two years earlier for my other graduating son, and expected the same contents. They raised their price and this time around did not include "Thank You" note cards. Some deal. Paid over $100 for 25 announcement cards. Also, they aren't a standard size, so if you want to include a 4x6 photo you will have to hand trim about 1/4 of an inch off the 6 inch side. The announcement measures 4.5" x 5 7/8". You are better off going to ANY other retailer for more creative options for far cheaper (Walmart, Walgreens, Shutterfly, Peartree.com). Then because of Covid my son's graduation time/date/place all changed and they would not reprint. Told me to go online and print out an insert myself. What if I didn't have a printer? Horrible company. I kick myself for wasting money on their garbage.
I hate to write bad reviews, but it was warranted. My step daughter graduated in May and we wanted to have her class ring ready by that time, but we didn't order soon enough. I was told a couple weeks and said OK, paid the bill, and two weeks later, no ring. I called, and they only took a quarter of the total payment when I called it in and said they will take 4 monthly payments, then make the ring and this was after being told we can have the ring possibly in a couple of weeks, LOL getting the picture here? So, I paid the rest of it and once again they said maybe a couple weeks. I then decided to take them up on their quarterly payment option for a second ring for myself and if the first one came in good I would finish paying for the second one. Well instead of applying the recent payment to the first order like they were supposed to, they incorrectly applied it to the second order. Even after talking with them 2 days later about the delivery time, never did they mention they applied the total payment to the wrong ring. They just are NOT listening! So after losing confidence in their ability and seeing similar reviews, I decided to pull the plug and end the order. They charged me $75 per ring to cancel the order. It was their error, but they decided to make me pay for it. If anyone receives a ring from this company after paying for it, consider them really lucky.
I will not buy from Jostens and will make sure our high school does not do business with them either. Poor customer service! I tried to reach an associate prior to buying my son's class ring online -a surprise for graduating with honors. I had a promo code for $50 which was not working at the time of sale. I called the company before 5pm to inform them that the promo code was not working; the voice mail asked to call at another time. I emailed them and did not get a response until 5 days later, AFTER I purchased the ring without the promo code. Their response was that I should use code: SENIORSAVE50. This is the same non-working promo code that I used during the purchase. The representative insisted that since the purchase was already made the day before getting the email, the company would not honor and give me the discount. After repeatedly asking her to review the 3 emails I had sent, she still refused to honor the $50 promo discount. Apparently, the company would prefer having an unhappy customer over honoring their own discount promo code. Shameful, since I've been buying yearbooks from Jostens through my children's high school over the past 8 years. Time for our high school to look for an alternative.
This is the worst company you can deal with what should be a happy time in a students life they make terrible hope they have to shut down for the way they treat their customers
UNHAPPY PARENT!
$129 for this book.
1. His name is spelled wrong on it on the outside.
2. Message in the 1/4pg for my son was not as provided.
In the 1/4 pg ad you put "All that you know - love you!" Clearly below, that is wrong and not properly edited.
This is what was supposed to have been correctly in his 1/4pg ad.
All that know you - love you!
This is lazy and lousy.
Cap and gown orders are outrageously expensive for the quality of the items; the fabric feels like cheap curtains. There was a choice of three colors - approximately 1/4 of the students (out of 520) did not receive the color they requested.
Yearbooks are expensive and delivery is slow - one week out from graduation, still not delivered.
First of all dont make people wait over a month for an item that's on back order and have rude customer service when a customers plans get ruined with gifts because " we will not place an order for these items till the end of the month" and that's have I have already waited 3 weeks!
I have bought twice through jostens, unfortunately the items aren't what was I expecting. The worst thing is that you can't get any exchange or refund. Jostens should at least refund you with half of the money you have spent on them, or at least give you a good and decent discount.
Answer: Very difficult. They lied and bullshit on your order. Have the worst service ever
Answer: Total scam.they are supposed to be legit but companies dont do what they do if its an legit company, its been a year since i sent stuff back and cant get a return on my stuff or even get an email thur to them and havent heard anything since i got my email with the return label from them
