My daughter ordered a dress for her Winter formal and cannot even get the dress over her head because the neck hole is several inches too small and it gets stuck on the crown of her head. I was asked to send pictures and basically received a "sorry about your situation" response from them. They blamed my daughter's hair as the reason the dress wouldn't go over her head and told me to find someone local to do the alterations. I can certainly understand having to do minor alterations such as taking the dress in or letting it out a little, but these alterations would be pretty major - cutting the dress at the neck and inserting a zipper or buttons! Terrible, terrible business. I, like many others on here, wish I would have done a little more research before ordering and saved my daughter the heartache. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM JOLLY BELLE!

My mother, a former steamstress, measured our daughter for her custom ordered dress for homecoming. The dress came with a completely baggy top - several sizes too large. We immediately took photos and sent to Jollybelle, saying we needed to return it. They asked for photos. We sent. They asked for measurements. We sent. We had two other seamstresses look at it, and both said it wasn't something they could fix. We had to purchase another dress in a panic before homecoming - I was in touch constantly with Jollybelle from 3 weeks before the dance and they kept leading me on. Finally offered 8% of the price of the dress - which they never followed through on - unbelievable! They refused to stand by their return policy which calls out "wrong size/fit". I have several photos which show the baggy top. BUYER BEWARE! We were completely duped out of $140... plus the price of the dress we had to buy last minute from Nordstrom! My 16 year old learned a difficult lesson... but will never buy from Jollybelle again - TOTAL SCAM!

I ordered a dress for my daughter 2 months before it was to be delivered. Smooth transaction, Confirmation email, dress is being processed. Great! Week 2-- dress still being processed and a thank you email for being patient. WOW! They're wonderful! Week 4 dress complete and has been shipped. Nice... Week 5 an email stating they don't ship to military APO addresses. WHAT! Did you not realize this when you took my money and I thought the dress was shipped?! Asked to find an address for someone who live off base. Okay received the off base address from post office. Jolly said the address is incorrect. Double checked the address is correct. Around and around we go it's now week 8 and my daughter didn't get her dress in time. Angry but passive I just gave them a family member's address on the States. Week 10 and email stating that my dress has been destroyed. OMG! I am beyond belief that I was rubbed out of $200 that easily.

I really wish I would've checked reviews before ordering from them. Now I'm out over $300. Before I placed an order I checked the return policy and it said you could return if the dress does not fit or is not what you expected. I ordered two dresses for my daughters homecoming, one was not the color it appeared on line (and it's stupid that you can't see the dresses in different colors). It looked nude or tan on line (didn't state what the color was on line) you could click "color as shown" but it was pinkish peach. The other dress would not zip up in the back. She is a size 3 and I ordered a 3/4. I emailed the company for a return form because they don't send one and I was asked to send them pictures proving the dress was too small. I sent pictures the best I could without showing my daughter and then was asked to send her measurements. I kept getting emails with requests until it was past the seven days and then it's pass the return date

Poor fit, cheap

Ordered a size 2 dress from this company. The bust was huge. It measured a 38 across the chest instead of the 32" as documented. Company would only give a 5% refund! Don't order from them. Cheap product!

THIS IS THE BIGGEST CON ON THE INTERNET. UNFORTUNATELY IF YOUR READING THIS YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN RIPPED OFF. Ordered a dress for Homecoming for granddaughter. I Had a seamstress measure her before we sent in measurements as she is a size 0 and smallest they offered non custom was size 2. When we received dress it is 6 inches smaller through the body of the dress than the measurements. So she can barely pull up over hips. Emails from them are barely 1 sentence emails. First they asked for pictures with the dress on, so I sent pictures (after several emails of me protesting sending pictures of a 15 yr old with a dress that she cant pull up over hips) I asked for a supervisor that never happened.
8th email from the 6th CS rep asked how did she measure herself. So again i explained that my 1st email i sent to them explained everything. Now they are asking for more pictures of her with tape measure measuring herself. Emails from them as mispelled and barely1 sentence long like; need pictures... I HAVE EMAILS FROM 6 DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS. I ALSO WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH THESE PICTURES OF YOUNG GIRLS BEING MEASURED. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I HAVE TRIED FOR 6 WEEKS TO RESOLVE. THERE IS NO RESOLVING. THEY TRY TO WEAR YOU DOWN SO YOU GIVE UP..

My daughter ordered a dress for her engagement pictures. We just got it and it's HORRIBLE! It doesn't flare out like the picture, the fabric puckers on the chest, the fabric is super cheap quality, and the bottom hem of netting was extremely jagged. Can you people not cut straight?! We contacted them and they wanted to see pictures. We sent pictures and they said to take it to a seamstress to fix the problems. I'm demanding a return label, but they're not cooperating. I plan to dispute the charge with the bank. There's got to be something that we can do to put these thieves out of business! I plan to pursue this for as long as it takes to get my daughter's money back.

After multiple attempts at returning a dress that was sent to me that was ordered in Hunter Green, but arrived in a horrible shade of celery/aqua/booger color, I found this company to be entirely unethical and unwilling to honor their guarantee regarding customer satisfaction. I would suggest that anyone that is at all anticipating the ability to return an unsatisfactory item - for any reason to BEWARE. They are HORRIBLE.

Jollybelle should not be in business. They are completely unethical and lie about their sizes, shipping dates, colors of their product, and return policy. I ordered, what looked to be the perfect homecoming dress for my daughter with express shipping (which was costly!). I am a seamstress and know how to measure so I ordered the dress according to their size chart. We picked a burgundy dress. Not only did the dress come after the expressed shipping delivery date as promised, but it was cherry red and nothing like the burgundy color they promised on their website.
To make matters worse, the costumer service is absolutely horrible! They said if color or size wasnt up to par I could return within 7 days. Ive been emailing the same rude person every day and trying to call to no avail. They just dont care about their consumers and should be put out of business. Ive never been treated so poorly. I will never order out of country again and suggest to every single person I know to avoid Jollybelle.

I usually do not like giving bad reviews to anyone. But, I bought a dress from jolly belle for my daughters sweet sixteen court. The dress they showed and that I ordered was a deep purple the color I needed for the girls. When I received the dress after 3 weeks I was horrified because the color was not a purple like on website but more like a burgundy. On their return policy it clearly states refunds for mis match in color. Which this clearly was. I have been fighting with them for days back and forth and they are choosing to ignore their own policy and are refusing to refund my money. This is a big buyer beware. Do not by any means use the JOLLY BELLE website. Please learn through my experience not the hard way.

Ordered my daughter's Homecoming Dress, asked for color in the picture and they sent a totally different color, no phone number to contact them. Had to email and they said the dress looked fine to them... wow, it was clearly the wrong color I sent an email showing a picture of what we received and what the dress was supposed to look like. It's ridiculous that they have no phone number, I wish I had read reviews before ordering from them. Never again!

Same thing happened to me as most of all the other reviews I read (wish I read them before I placed the order.) I ordered a burgundy homecoming dress for my daughter and it came 3 days late in red. I paid $73 in shipping & handling for guaranteed delivery before Oct. 1 and it came on Oct. 3. I emailed them a picture of the dress next to an actual burgundy shirt showing it clearly doesn't match. Then, I sent all the documentation showing guaranteed delivery date and the date I actually received it. They won't give me a phone number to talk with a live manager person. Wish I had known that they were in Hong Kong - if they were in the U.S., I would report them to BBB and do everything in my power to SHUT THEM DOWN!

SO BAD

SO wish I woud've checked Reviews! Ugh. Ordered dress - came HUGE and wrong color --the color that was shown on the website, and what we selected for the color, was deep purple -- what we got was dark pink -- and OBVIOUS to be an unmatching color. Anyway, sent all the pics they requested, all the measurements. To no avail. Now no one will contact me back. There is no phone number, and no address for a reason. The package arrived from Singapore. They will not let me return the dress. Stay Away from JollyBelle. The $150 cost for the dress(including $28 regular shipping fee) is now down the drain. Plus have to spend More now for something that will fit. Extremely frustrated.

Ordered my daughter a dress for homecoming and it came in horrible stitching and the dress was not center at all. The dress was also missing beads on the one sleeve. Tried to return it and they will not allow me to. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A DRESS FROM JOLLYBELLE! They will not let you return the dress!

After my daughter anxiously waited for 4 weeks for the dress, it was a total disaster. What we received was not a match to the picture or description at all. To start, the description stated it was a sequined dress, there was not a single sequin on the dress received, rather it was covered it cheap plastic beads/mirrored jewels. When my son saw it, he said it looked like a costume that a 3rd grader made, he was right. The size and color were also off. I took the dress to our local tailor shop to see about having it altered to fit, thinking I could take off most of the gawdy beadwork to make it at least wearable only to learn it would cost $110 for alterations! Wasn't willing to do this on top of the $174 spent for the $149 dress and shipping. I made countless attempts with Jolly Belle for a refund, they finally offered a 6% or $9 refund for what they described as 'subtle' differences. What a joke, this company is a scam, unfortunately my daughter had fallen in love with the photo of the dress she thought she was getting and I didn't find any negative reviews at the time we ordered (they were probably operating under a different name during the last homecoming season). I don't normally post reviews but hate for any other young girls to experience the disappointment that my daughter did!

Dress came quicker than expected. Was a little big and longer than it should have been. The color was off from the picture... was supposed to be champagne but more of a cross between nude and peach. I got the dress for a good price for homecoming dress but I severely underestimated alteration fees. To have dress shortened and other alterations, the alterations ended up costing more than the dress... so it went from $140 to $300 after alteration fees if $160. So I would not purchase again. But otherwise dress was fine. As far as complaints on returns... that is stated on site that once purchase is made all sales are final.

Horrible return policy

I ordered a burgundy dress it came as red. I sent picture to them and they said " oh well, looks to us, sorry" Horrible. What type of company won't reimburse a dress for wrong color also if you dont' like it once your daughter put it on. Horrible, terrible.

DONT ORDER FROM JOLLYBELLE!

Ordered dress to my daughters exact measurements and also a specific request on the length to be 2 inches above the knees. Received dress... 2 sizes too big and the dress was down below her knees! After numerous emails and sending pictures I was told to have it fixed. At my expense! A relative ordered a dress from same company, was charged for the dress but never received it! STAY CLEAR OF JOLLYBELLE!
