This morning I thought I had found the deal of the century on a Sony XBR-75X940E. Placed initial order online, was told to call back. Then the fun began. The rep then says, "You do realize this is the lesser panel from China?" "I strongly recommend you order the UC2 panel actually made by Sony." Seeing where this is going, "Oh? What would that cost? $1000. 00 more. Cancel order, please. "How about the Sony 900E? Instead?" Cancel order please. "OK".

I ordered an LG B6P Series 65" Class UHD Smart OLED TV - OLED65B6P BRAND NEW 1 YEAR LG USA WARRANTY on 5/4/2017. When you place your order, which is really easy to do, they ask you to write a review immediately which is why you see many 5 star ratings. The idea behind JoesAv is that they sell you equipment that is being discontinued by the manufacturer and they wait to ship until the TV goes on sale and discontinued from the manufacturer. The next day, I received an email that I had to call to confirm my order. I did. I was transferred to a laid back easy going guy that said you'll have it in 28 business days. I was fine with waiting even 6 months at the price I paid for the TV and free wall mount $1,645.42. Other users say they were told they should upgrade to a better product on this phone call or opt for faster shipping at a higher price, I was ready for that, but it didn't happen. So I went on with my life. 41 business days later I decided to login and check on my status, it still said processing so I sent a kind email on June 30 "I placed my order 5/5/17 and when I called to confirm the order I was told I would have the TV in 28 business days. It has now been 41 business days. Can I please get an update on my order? Thank you." No response. On July 6, I logged in again to check my status and my order was deleted from my account. Email to JoesAV and of course no response. I was fine waiting. Too bad. Now they have my CC number, never charged me, but that's worrying.
I was requested to call in after my online purchase hit a snag. I have tried 4 times now and after long waits have been immediately transferred to other departments. Not one person has given me their name when they answer the phone. This is by far the worst Customer Service I have ever received.
Same story as many others - order a tv then get an email to call them. When you call, they ask why you ordered this model and tell you it's an older model made in Asia. In this case, they claimed the model I was ordering was a 2015 model, but it's not, it's a 2016. Fortunately, I had already read many of the reviews and was fully expecting this, and canceled the order. I reported them to the FTC. This only takes a few minutes and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same. This tactic is unfair to consumers and their legitimate competitors.
Service, consulting and handling of my order was very professional. If you have time to receive the new equipment for a free delivery, than this is a perfect option.
Called Joe's to order another tv set. Salesman said I wanted this better one and would love it. I do! Was also $500 cheaper than any other price I could find.
I have placed an order (Samsung TV) at May 19th but nothing so far. The status shows in progress as well as the very first day. They do not answer phone or email. I asked them to cancel my order, hope they do what they suppose to do this time.
I found the tv I wanted on This site. I never heard of. But way cheaper than Amazon eBay an bestbuy. And free shipping no tax an a free wall mount and 100 dollars discount!. Wow great deal! Right?. Placed my order I get a email next day to call them to confirm my oder!. I was like huh? Why?. Ok I called them!. Tock me like 5 min for some one to answer. Told me hold another 8min. Then this guy. Sounded like a monster like why you oder this old model tv. I'm like what?. He like I have ether new model way better the one you got no good! Cheap!. Tv panel cheap it's from asia. I was well how much is the new one then 280 more. I'm like ok. He like good enjoy an hangs up. I go an look up this new TV an it cost the same every where the one I had originally ordered was way more everywhere. So I called them right back. Like all the time took for ever to get a hold of them. Finally got them on phone. Told them I don't want the new model I want what I had. He Insisted on the new model. I'm like what kind of business is this!. I stick to what I oder. Naw he's saying theres two models to. This tv the one made in Asia an the one made in Mexico. Mexico one cost way more. That I need to get that one. That the one I oder no good an it would take more than 30 days to ship
I'm like fine! Then hes ok then hangs up. Naw I start to investigate about this two different models one made in Asia an the other in mexico. Find out there no such thing. Now I'm like there just lying to me this a a scam. I called them back like away waiting for ever to get a hold. Then I told them to cancel everything. Now hes like ok hold oh an hangs on me. I'm like hell no. Call again how's he's I got your Information an number I'll call you back. An hangs back I did this line 5 time an they keep hanging on me. I told my credit card about it now we calling same thing with them they argue with them an try to be shady with them too. An hang on them too. Naw my credit card told me don't worried this people are clearly a scam an we are not going to pay for this transaction!. I called them on more time an they said we did cancel it an hanged on me real rude!. Complete hustle an scam!..
My order took a month to arrive. I was given a status of in transit for over a week before I received a tracking number for delivery 10 days later. The first TV received was the wrong item and the replacement was sent by FEDEX a week later. The TV I received was in perfect condition and I am totally pleased with my purchase. I may do additional business with Joe's but I'll be prepared for an extended delivery delay but the lower cost makes it worthwhile.
I had researched and shopped around for the TV I wanted. No one could beat Joe's AV! They were also very patient when, due to a recent move, my credit cards were getting the new address mixed up with the old.
The TV arrived on time, and very well packed. I was able to get it installed beautifully.

I would absolutely use Joe's AV again, without question. Excellent pricing, excellent add-on services, excellent customer service (very easy to get through to and are exceptional to deal with - George in particular), & very understanding.
The wide-range of products & the supporting knowledge was of appreciation for us. The only thing I can say about any negative reviews is that 'case-by-case' basis &/or consider the person writing, as my experience with Joe's AV has been nothing except positive.
I am not the 'typical online shopper' for large purchases such as this, but after this experience, I would place another large order from Joe's.
I bought a Top of the line Pre-Pro. It arrived as scheduled. The price was right. There was an issue. I called and David helped me with no BS. Just understood the problem and rectified it the same day. The price was very competitive but the service is what keeps me as a customer. Any company can discount a product but not very many actually stand behind their name and value their customers enough to take care of us after the sale. Five stars.
Ordered high end TV, they require you to call and confirm order, sit on hold 10+ minutes, to be told to hold and without response on hold I went again 5+ minutes, then the young lady takes my info and says let me transfer you to the person that can complete your order, 10+ minutes later I get that person only to be told to hold again, when I got upset and said I was not holding again I would just call and cancel through my credit card if they did, I was told they would not be threatened and the order would be cancelled and they hung up on me. I guess the reviews on Better Bussiness BUREAU should be trusted they have an F!
Update: received an immediate call back after posting this and after a few attempts at up sales was told my order would be completed. I will adjust stars once I receive TV and confirm correct TV and such, still waiting on shipping confirmation/tracking.
Joe was amazing. He personally helped me select the right product that my kids are thrilled to use with Video games and sports. He even gave me an extra discount since I am so ignorant to this TV tech. That is changing so fast. Great service and outstanding price.
They told me when I placed my order for a new TV that it was the old model coming from China. They stated it would be over a month to get. They talked me into a more expensive model that was newer and supposed to be in stock. It is now over a month after they have billed my card for over 3300. 00 and I still haven't received the TV. But by god I recieved the free mount. Horrible they couldnt track the order and what's even worse is they are now offering the TV for less then what I paid for it! Save yourself a headache go to best buy and use there price match

I ordered a Denon AVRX6200 High-End Receiver on Joesav.com on 11/27/16 and was charged $1534. 00. I was contacted on 11/28/16 and notified that this unit was out of stock and they would need to send me the AVRX6300h (newer model) for $75 more. I agreed and was charged an additional $76 on 11/30. After not receiving any shipment notification, I called several times over the next few weeks (I originally requested by delivery by 12/9). Each time I called, I was told that they didn't have any units in stock and they would be shipping out within a day or two. My unit finally shipped on 12/15 and tracking number sent via email. When unit arrived on 12/20, IT WAS THE WRONG MODEL... The unit that arrived was an AVRX4300h... A unit that sells for $461 cheaper! I called back and was told that they would be sending me the correct unit as soon as one was received in stock. I was told this over and over on each subsequent call over the next two months. Finally on 2/21, I called and was told that I needed to send back my unit before they would ship out the correct one. At this point my trust in receiving the correct unit in a timely manner was at an all-time low, so I just asked if they could issue a refund in the amount of $461 (the difference in price between the model I paid for and the model I received). The customer service rep agreed. It is now May 2nd and I have yet to receive my refund. I am beyond dis-satisfied with Joe's AV. Every customer service rep I spoke to was rude, short, and lied to me over and over again. Despite the lure of low online prices, the hassle, headache and ultimately immoral and illegal practices of selling one product and shipping another are not worth the risk. I will never do business with them again.
I was pleased to receive an awesome TV at a great price! The path to getting there was a bit more complicated, and took much longer than I expected. I originally ordered my TV on Jan. 6,2017. I was told that shipping would take 28 days if I did not pay for 2-week expedited shipping. I chose to wait the 28 days, only to later find out that it was 28 Business days. I felt deceived at that point, but had no choice other than to wait. The TV had still not even made it through customs as of March 8,2017 (41 business days later). I was then given the option to upgrade to a newer model for $400 additional, it would be shipped immediately and I would receive the TV within 14 business days "at the most." I proceeded with this option and the TV was delivered on 3/31/2017 (17 business days from the date of the new order). I did not receive the wall mount with the TV and called the following week to inquire, assuming that it was shipped separately. I was told that it had not shipped and would be sent out right away. I received the wall mount on 4/24/2017. From start to finish, my original order was placed on 1/6/2017 and I received all of my products by 4/24/2017. It would have been nice to be notified that my products may not arrive for 3-4 months.
I tried to remain patient, and I am happy with the TV, but I am unsure if I will order from Joe's in the future.
Deceptive company that uses bate and switch tactics and list items on website that they no longer have available. Steer clear of this company...
Answer: Joe's AV is actually is actually run by the same people who own East Coast TVs in Linden, NJ. If you research East Coast TV's, you'll see they have horrific reviews and really bad customer experiences. Since the company had such a horrible reputation, they registered a new business name with the the state of NJ so they could essentially have a fresh new start. Pretty slick, right? Unfortunately, they deliver on the same awful experience as their previous company name did. Do yourself a favor, stick with the big box stores.
Answer: I was waiting on my order for 3 months and never got it so I called them and cancel my order. These guys don't even have in stock what they show in website. Don't believe them, it's bunch of garbage guys.
Answer: They are fake TV's. Shipped from Asia but for another several hundred dollars they will sell you the real one.

Answer: Because Joe's AV will never send you the TV. They can sell things for whatever price they want. Then when you are sitting there for 2 or 3 months waiting for your TV, you will understand. If you are lucky enough to get these scam artists to send a TV to you at all.
Answer: Too late they filed bankruptcy while ago and closed down both sites (eastcoast completely, joes av half working). Lots of people suppliers, shippers and customers got jacked in that final move. You cant change people like that, except by firing squad.
