Ordered a TV without receiving the upselling most have, but was notified it would ship from China. Should have been a red flag, but I was willing to be patient. It has now been THREE MONTHS and I have not received the TV. Be prepared to wait on hold for 15-20 minutes if you need answers, and to get really short responses from the very sketchy sounding person on the other line. This business is a complete joke.

I first ordered an 85" Samsung TV and was very happy with the price. Figured it would take longer to get but at the price I just couldn't pass. Well it's now been 3 weeks since the order was placed and it's still pending. Like many others on here I tried calling multiple times, emailed 3 times and never any response. I finally got through on the phone and was irritated! When speaking with someone they got very defensive and I told them I just wanted to cancel my order cause this was BS. The guy told me to go F*** myself! So order still not cancelled and when I called back I asked to speak to a manager... they obviously knew the number because he started in on it again. I've since called Wells Fargo to cancel my card and also report them as thieves! STAY AWAY from this backyard outfit! Pretty sure they are just stealing CC#'s and ripping people off. I will be writing a review on every site I can find!

Rude customer service

I made an order an they sent email asking me to call them. You can not talk a rep properly.

You will be put on hold constantly and each hold for over 30 mins. And one the customer service put me on hold multiple times and said they will call back and cut the line without waiting for response. Next time, again i was put on hold and got message saying office is closed. Tried again, same thing. Every time, the rep are always rude.

Avoid ordering.

I ordered a TV 15 days ago and it is still being "processed". I have received zero word after several email queries. And calls made during business hours end up on what seems to be permanent hold.

The deal that was offered was really good. But if it can't be fulfilled, why offer it? And if the intent is to upsell, well at least respond to the customer queries.

Worked out ok

Got an outstanding price on a Yamaha receiver, shipping time was longer though, and after it was a week late decided to email them on it. Seemed like the right hand didn't know what the left was doing since they told me it would arrive in another week but it arrived the next day. Worth the wait and it all worked out in the end so I'm satisfied.

The reviews are accurate

Placed an order 10/27, followed up numerous times for a delivery date(s). 4 distinct promises for delivery dates, numerous stories, sometimes the companys employees contradict each other. As an example, at Thanksgiving, the unit was on a truck being transferred to a local carrier. Late last week, they tried a bait and switch as The Sony unit is better than LG for OLED. The people are courteous, but obviously did not deliver and the stories were just shy of a unicorn sighting.

Really Bad Service
December 10, 2017

After over one week of hearing nothing after my order was confirmed, I emailed trying to get an order status. I heard nothing. Then I started calling each day. Each time for three consecutive days, I was on the phone for over an hour before I was connected with anyone. Then I was told the TV was coming from Asia, and needed 38 business days to be shipped. I cancelled the order.

These guys should be shut down due to deceiving business practices. After order was placed, received email stating confirmation via phone was required. Phone rep tried to upsell different model, said order would take 37 days to complete. Refused and order was never processed.

Reminds me of the eCommerce sites of the late 90's. Puts up a low price. Makes you "call to confirm" after you do all the work. If you don't purchase the upsell you are "in process" for months. If you reach them, they will say they don't have it and will try to upsell you again. Masters at manipulating "reviews". Check out BBB and you will see the real story on these guys... Oh, and if you want to speak to someone and not be on hold for 30 minutes, here's their direct *******130.

I won't waste your reading time because all has been said by others. My experience is much like all of the negative reviewers have already stated. My advise to you is to make your purchase from a reputable company. Save yourself the stress.

After placing an online order for a TV whose price was "to good to be true", I got an email requesting to call back to verify CC. Called back and waited 40 minutes on hold and verified my CC info. Order never appeared on my online account. Emailed them several times during the week and received no response. Order still did not appear online. Credit card was NOT charged. Emailed again after a week, with no response. I decided to call about a month later. I waited on hold for about 15 minutes, then the person on the other line told me I needed to speak to someone else. The person verified my order number and told me someone would call back. No one has yet (it's now 2 weeks) called back. I'm no longer interested in purchasing this TV or anything else from this place.

I bought an LG G6 in October. They told me it will take 38 days for it to get to me which I have no problem with. 38 days passed, I didn't hear anything. I called them, waited for 38 min to finally get somebody on the phone, got transferred and had to wait another 20 minutes. I finally got somebody who asked for my order number, I gave it to him and he said he was going to get back to me, never heard from them for a week. I called them again the same thing happened, but this time I was hanged up at the end. Please do yourself a favor and buy from others more credible website. It is not worth it and they are not even honest enough to tell you what is going on. I should have known.

Do Not Waste Your Time

Yes, their deals are incredible. Getting your order is another issue altogether. I ordered an LG 86 inch 4K HDR TV. After of week of showing "processing" I called several times and on the 4th or 5th call was able to talk to someone and he told me it was a model from several years ago and wasn't HDR, but he could sell me another newer model for about $800 more and they have it in stock and would be here in about 10 to 15 working days. I still have not received a confirmation email about the new order and do not expect to ever see this TV. The excellent reviews are probably from family or friends or actual staff members. Go to another, reputable company and place your order.

This is the worst business I've ever dealt with. They advertise a TV with a very low price, and then tell you AFTER the ordered is placed that it is out of stock and will take weeks to get in. And of course, the TV they want you to get instead costs $1500 more. In the more than three month period I was dealing with them, I never received a return phone calls or email-- or the product I ordered, which, by the way, is still being advertised on their site at the same price and is shown to be in stock.

DON'T EVEN TRY...

I bought a TV. The only feed back from the store was "Processing"... I've been on the phone for 1 hour, costumers service keeps transferring my call to other people (3 by now)... Worst costumer service I've ever seen! They finally hanged up on me!
I am reporting this site to the consumer financial protection bureau
Don't waste your time!

Despite all bad reviews I had a nice experience, the delivery time ins't good like everyone tells and sucks, really, but in the end i've saved about $1100. 00 if compared to a local retailer, so yes, I'm satified. Also everything that suposed to come with is in good shape including my super big tv, thanks joes!

My title of this review sums up my experience. Pretty much the same bait and switch tactic everyone else mentions in their reviews. Paid $2198. 00 for my TV August 1st, I waited 6 weeks for my TV to arrive on Sept 15th. Every time I contacted Joes AV was always told my TV was in the warehouse and was being shipped out later in the day. Finally, after waiting 6 weeks my TV arrived. Thought all was good just looked at my charge card statement and noticed they re-billed my charge card on NOV 9th another $2198. 00 almost 2 months later. I believe JOES AV also operates under the business name of EAST COAST TV's, because when my TV arrived the return address was EAST COAST TV'S. So BEWARE of both companies
