Saved $1000 on a OLED TV. Took about 6 weeks or so but got what I wanted and it looks great! Expected a delay based on the other reviews so the delay was of no concern. I do not fully understand their business model but I got what I ordered and I saved 1/3 of the price. Worth the wait.
I was sent an email after ordering that I needed to call to confirm my order. The service rep tried to sell me upgrades on my order and hung up on me or put me on hold every time I tried to cancel the order. When I said this seems very weird, he said " Life is weird." and proceeded to start speaking gibberish. This is a scam of a company and I beg you not to get involved - you will regret it!
Maybe i caught them on a bad week but i saw they the 65 " sony Z9D for $1500 and i was so happy. Reviews seem good. Placed order and got a message 2 call n 2 verify order. Tried call waited on hold an hour 2 separate times. Then i called another day and guy was talking 2 someone else then told me 2 hold on and i gave him my order # said ur good 2 go guy... i said thats it. He was like yea. 3 days later order still processing so i started 2 send cancel e-mails b/c something about these folks seem off. I started this 3 days after x-mas and now 13 days into new years my order still says processing. GEEZ i really wanted that tv not worth all this extra anxiety!
When the package arrived it was great; great product and great prices. The package was lost for about a week by the delivery company, which claimed it had been delivered when it was not. Many phone calls and a week later, the delivery company finally found the package and made the delivery. Joe's did follow up as best it could, but seemed impotent where it's carrier was concerned. Be advised about delays from the delivery company.
9th week now since ordered a LG TV, NO Response yet, despite Emails and several phone calls, once a response was, it could be up to 6 weeks and that was 4 weeks ago, what can you do, fell into the bait and didn't get a less discounted deal from Amazon and a couple other vendors.
Nothing I can say except I just realize this is a crooked company! Every time their customer service gave the same response " your order will be next month". They did not provide you detail information. Try to reach them thru Email; I will never get an answer. Call the company again and again; the same answering message. Eventually somebody answered my call for more than half hour; then he said he'll call me back instead of providing an answer for my question. And he never returns the call!
I ordered a TV on 12/19 that was in stock. My first experience trying to call them was awful. You are on hold forever, they pick up and tell you to hold and then hang up on you. When they do pick up, the canned response is that they will call me back and they never do. Ive sent multiple emails without a response.
If they will eventually get you the product but it takes 6-8 weeks or longer then they should say so and then we all wont have to deal with their awful service repeatedly but we can get the savings. That is if this whole operation is not bogus and all the positive reviews arent from them.
I placed order and I got an email asking to call back. Called back spend hour waiting no one picked up phone.
Send emails no reposnse. Order is still pending. There should be some way to take action against such companies. They waste lot of time and resources.
I received my TV in Good condition yesterday.
I think the site overall has good prices (although the 8 bit vs the 10 bit is not a standard retail issue as stated pursuant to their model numbers in the online advertising). And receiving the TV in a bit over a month was not too unreasonable. Just be prepared for long hold times, difficult communication and twice the shipping time promised and you will receive a good product and a good value. Thoroughly research your model, bits etc. to be sure you are not being upsold erroneously and proceed. I did receive a good product for a good price in in the end!
I contacted Joe's TV to purchase an LG OLED E7 55" tv. The advertising on their website stated the brands and models were the same as any retail outlet. However, once I placed my order a very lengthy delivery time was emailed to me. I called them immediately and was told (after holding for over 20 minutes) that the E7 model I selected was only an 8 bit model and was from China (not an industry standard model as their website stated) and they quickly asked me why I had selected the inferior model? They offered a $400.00 upgrade to the 10 bit (recommended model and said to be in stock) and assured delivery in two weeks. This was 11/21/2017. I have yet, as of 12/27/2017 to receive a TV and am out over $1,800 dollars with nothing for my husband for Christmas. Joes's TV insisted it was shipped and gave me a shipping company number whose mailbox was full and could not be contacted. Each time I had to call Joe's TV I was on hold for over 20 minutes and have yet to resolve this issue.
At the end of the day I saved maybe $200 dollars over other online vendors, I have no TV and have wasted hours of my time contacting this merchant to no Avail.
Buyer BEWARE!
Ordered a smart TV online from Joe's AV. They delivered it so fast and at the lowest price. That was 9 months ago and no problems with TV. I have 2 friends that have since purchased here and now my son is saving up for one... Thank you.
Bought a TV from them Cyber Monday 2017. The TV was never shipped out, they won't respond to my emails, and place me on hold for over 30 minutes every time I call. No clue how they stay in business.
OK I did get my TV but the savings were not worth the cost. Lots of follow up phone calls. On hold 20-40 minutes. Told it was shipped at the very beginning. 10-14 days and took over a month. Did call on TV advertised to find it isn't one I should get and that one is $600 more. Still saved money so ordered it but would not have called to begin with if they hadn't lied about the price. Pure Bait and Switch. Where are the regulators? They should not be allowed to stay in business based on all these complaints.
Joe's AV needs to take a look at their delivery setup. It took way too long for our TVs to be delivered. Until the delivery problem, everything went well. Once we received the TVs, they were great TVs and at a great price. Maybe they have to have a poor delivery system to give the great prices that they have. Waiting over two months for a delivery is pretty bad though.
I wrote a previous negative review on Joe's AV detailing their scandalous numerous devious business practices, and their blatant "BAIT and SWITCH" tactics in attempting to upset me a more expensive 85" Samsung TV back in December 2017.
Combine this with the rude, abrupt salesman, hours on hold, and shipping companies that don't actually ship and this was far and away the worst shopping experience I have ever had.
I have never received the original TV (or any other) that I ordered and am now in the process of submitting an official complaint to the government department responsible for policing scam companies like this one.
If you are one of the thousands of cheated customers in the same position, I invite you to join the bandwagon and complete a simple online complaint to:
FTC.GOV/COMPLAINT

These crooks need to be held accountable once and for all.
We ordered a tv on Oct 16 for an "in stock" unit. Well, then we were told it would take 38 days. After 45 days, we called, and we were told we would get a call the next week for delivery. That never happened. We called again two weeks later, and were told we would get a call the following Thursday. That didn't happen, so I called again. I was told the tv had cleared customs and was on its way to their Scottsdale warehouse. Today (Friday) I called, and I was told that "this shipment" is having problems clearing customs, and we will hear in a week-and-a-half. All of this for a tv that is listed as "in stock" as I write this. A good price on a tv means nothing if you can't get it and all you receive when you call are lies. If the tv ever does arrive, I'll re-look at this review and consider the unit itself.
I guess in life you get what you paid for. Placed order got an email to call them to confirm not sure y? 2. Called 3 times was on hold over 40 minutes lost all my interest dealing with them for saving few dollars. Canceled my order. Probably will be canceling my credit card to avoid them knowing my card.
They're cheaper than Amazon but at least Amazon ships you the product. They hired some Micky Mouse carrier called "One-Way Trucking" and 23 days so far and no product. Absolutely ridiculous.
I placed my order late last night. So, I called this morning to "confirm" my purchase per the email I received. The rep sounded angry when he answered the phone but his tone changed a bit when I told him I was calling to verify my purchase. The 1st thing he said was he didn't have that model of TV in stock but had a different one with better specs. I told him 3 times, politely, I wasn't interested in the different TV and I wanted to just cancel my order. He then said something unintelligible and hung up the phone on me. I called my CC company to dispute the charge but they said that Joe's AV hasn't charge my card yet. So, I had to lock my CC just to make sure they won't bill to it. Avoid this company at all costs!
Wasted my time pretending to have a TV in stock then trying to bait and switch then a week before Xmas admiring they don't have it and trying to ship $400 higher priced one for the extra money.
Bought an 85 inch tv only to find out that they don't have the merchandise in stock and it was a 30 to 40 day wait. Of course the website doesn't say if the product is in stock, that is because is not. Also if you like waiting 20 to 30 min on hold when you call them then this is your place to shop, if not stay away.
Answer: Joe's AV is actually is actually run by the same people who own East Coast TVs in Linden, NJ. If you research East Coast TV's, you'll see they have horrific reviews and really bad customer experiences. Since the company had such a horrible reputation, they registered a new business name with the the state of NJ so they could essentially have a fresh new start. Pretty slick, right? Unfortunately, they deliver on the same awful experience as their previous company name did. Do yourself a favor, stick with the big box stores.
Answer: I was waiting on my order for 3 months and never got it so I called them and cancel my order. These guys don't even have in stock what they show in website. Don't believe them, it's bunch of garbage guys.
Answer: They are fake TV's. Shipped from Asia but for another several hundred dollars they will sell you the real one.
Answer: In 6 months if your lucku
Answer: Because Joe's AV will never send you the TV. They can sell things for whatever price they want. Then when you are sitting there for 2 or 3 months waiting for your TV, you will understand. If you are lucky enough to get these scam artists to send a TV to you at all.
Answer: Too late they filed bankruptcy while ago and closed down both sites (eastcoast completely, joes av half working). Lots of people suppliers, shippers and customers got jacked in that final move. You cant change people like that, except by firing squad.
