Kinded hard to navigate the system, but the information given was very detailed and helpful.
I don't believe that many of the keywords pulled from the job ad were relevant.
Hasn't given much value as of yet for the initial work put into the system
I always heard about the bots, but I didn't realize how bad it was until during my current job search. I was able to make revisions to my resume as suggested and see my score increase for my resume. I like how it saves your resume in a format for the ATS.
Please make it free to check the resume and LinkedIn profile
I wish I could see a demo of other features that are not included in the free account
I've used jobscan for the very first time to check and optimize my resume and found it incredible.
It not only tells the compatibility of your documents with the job description but also highlights the errors and gives suitable solutions to resolve them.
Such an amazing thing for your quality manuscript.
It was really nice to use and the speed of the scan was really appreciable
Instructions were clear enough, but there is always room for improvement.
Thank you
I signed up for 2 free scans a month. Your message says I have 5 scans left, however, your step one does not allow me to paste, and doesn't allow me to download my resume. While I am trying to paste, it keeps showing it is scanning.
I've only just begun to use jobscan and I haven't landed a job yet. Not sure why I've been given this survey now. The program, in theory, is incredible. After watching a youtube tutorial, I found the program easy to use. The idea of a program that makes you rise above the noise is amazing in these times. We'll see if it helps.
They changed the UI and the algorithm to see the scores recently. In the new algorithm, it only shows important and high scored words. Some of the words do not even exist nor match the job anymore. New UI makes it impossible to see those words unless you zoom out and scroll through each word. It is impossible to use it. Customer service is crap too. I sent them details with screenshot and they asked me to provide video saying they cannot repopulate the issue, why not pay me to do their job too.
Looking for alternatives now.
Quick and efficient. It is a great starting point for resume help
A great tool to help vet the quality of ones' resume when applying online with systems that utilize ATS (applicant tracking system). You've got to get past the AI before human eyes are likely to take note and Jobscan may very well help! Good luck to all job other seekers out there! Oh, and I reached out to support and got a prompt response with an explanation!

Its solid and useful. The percentage is not accurate but the jobs I had low match rate for I recieved interviews

Your stuff keep auto putting a jd and a resume before I even upload anything
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
