It seems it takes some time for the score to update after a resume with the suggested changes is uploaded/rescan done.
It would be better if I could scan in bulk instead of individual cv. For example I put a collection on 5 CV against requirement and I get a rate for each then I'll decide which one to keep or run against 4 other CV.
Great site, I'm not sure what I would do without it.
I really like the ability to use your scanning tool to bring my percentage up for a match however I have not had any luck yet with securing an interview even with a 90 to 98% match for an opportunity.
The overall experience is good and thank you so much for providing such a good software and helping job seekers like me.
Jobscan has changed the way I approach job searching & resume editing. I feel much more informed about the process through using the tools as well as reading the articles. The only thing that gives me pause about the service is the pricing structure, so I hope that, like with the product itself, that that is being regularly re-evaluated and adjusted accordingly with the customers in mind.
The site and information just doesn't seem to be providing me enough information on how best to utilize the functions you offer. Perhaps I've missed some important details, but my experience has been 'okay' so far. Help me get more out of the use of your site please!
Great app. Great help matching the skills for my position versus my resume.
I have a complete profile on linkedin and I still can't use it."Missing experience and education section - please double check the uploaded PDF."
Surprised and glad that such a useful and helpful website exists... I will definitely recommend it to friends, relatives and colleagues.
While I don't understand all the criteria that comes through in the scan report it is helpful towards understanding how a system reacts to a resume.
I have gotten interviews when otherwise my resume would have gone into a black hole. I never knew the importance of using the exact keywords in tailoring resumes.
Jobscan has assisted me in focusing on the key responsibilities of the job posting.
Sometimes, jobscan picks-up irrelevant word combinations. You have mechanism to correct that (but crossing out the irrelevant combination).
Your tool certainly helps
I feel more confident advertising myself using Jobscan; it gives me a chance at getting pas the ATS and into the hands of a person. No luck yet though.
I've been using it a lot in the last 3 months with no results at all. Didn't improve anything so far. I still believe but still need to see real results.
Good site to help cut through with CV and applications
Jobscan is having more technical errors than it used to, I feel like the results are less reliable than they have been in the past.
Jobscan helps me out to keeping my CV optimized and up to date. Also finding best skill matches for the positions available in my area.
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
