I ordered a made to order dress which just never showed up. I spent over 2 weeks writing emails to jjs house in which I repeatedly had to explain that it never showed up but they kept just telling me that I had it.
JJsHouse refused to send me a refund or a replacement dress until I updated my review on this website to a 3 or 4 star review and said I had a good experience. I did this because I needed to have this exact dress because I was a bridesmaid.
I received the replacement dress almost 3 months after my original order. The dress was supposed to be a free replacement for the original dress that had never showed up. However, when they delivered it I had to pay an additional 30 euros to the deliver person because they had not paid the delivery cost.
This was a terrible experience because I had to pay extra money for an item that was extremely late and also because I wasted so much time writing tickets to jjshouse. The fact they pressured me to change my review was a particular low.

Scammers
Im going to every media outlet-and small claims court until i get my money back-from the reviews i can have people form a class action lawsuit.

Ugly dress. Material appeared cheap. No problem, I thought-- I bought the standard size so I could return it.

JJ's House refused to take the dress back. See below for their responses:

We are so sorry that you want to make a return, but it is really hard for us to take back the dress made in the correct way. Since all of our dresses including the standard size dresses are made to order, we do not have any dresses in stock. Your understanding will be highly appreciated. And we also would like to offer you a special 10% discount coupon.

The coupon code will be issued once we get your confirmation.

Please contact us if you need any further assistance.

Then I say:
Thank you for your reply.

I do not want a coupon, I want to return the dress. It does not look good and I will not be wearing it to my event. I specifically ordered the generic size so that I could return in case the dress did not look nice in person.

For a business that is mail order only a good return policy and good customer service is essential. I have taken care to rewrap the dress perfectly so you will be able to send it to another customer. I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me by responding with instructions for return.

They say:

All our dresses including those in standard size are made to order. Therefore we do not have dresses in stock for exchange and our return policy is different from those off-the-racks'. We are afraid that it is really hard for us to take back or exchange the dresses made correctly. Hope you can understand.

1. We would like to offer you a 10% refund of the product value, and you can keep the product.
2. We can offer you a 20% coupon which is valid within one year. You can use it for your next order on our website.

I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and used the size guide but the shoes were still too big. In order to return the shoes to get the correct pair I had to ship them back to china at my own cost but they don't want you to use UPS, FEDEX, or any delivery company like that. So I had to spend over $60 to send these shoes back, which the 3 pairs of shoes together only cost $110, so i am paying$170 but I only get store credit back. Why would I want store credit if I am having this much difficulty?!?!

Purchased non custom dress that was of very poor quality fabric and construction. No side seams in dress exposing very cheap slip undergarment. Slip lining also protrudes from neckline due to poor construction. Contacted JJs house customer service via email which was incredibly difficult and requested the refund and return form as per their policy. I was told to send pictures of the defective dress and have been given the run around with numerous emails delaying the process. Was finally told to take the dress to a taylor to be fixed and they would give me a 15% discount. The taylor would not even touch the poor quality garment but even if they did it would have to be totally remade with costs well over the pitiful discount the company was offering! After 5 requests I am still unable to obtain the refund and return form that I requested ( as per their policy). Please DO NOT buy anything from this company!

Ripped Off!

I ordered an empire dress (fitted on top and flows below the waist and stomach). A slip was sewn into the dress and zipped form fitted for a Barbie Doll (MAKES NO SENSE). I asked for a larger size, after a week of e-mails back and forth, this is what happened... I was asked to take a picture of myself to show where it didn't fit. I refused. I was told they wanted me to take it to a local tailor and if they could do anything for me they would pay 15 %. If they couldn't help, they wanted me to pay for a new dress and they would credit 25% for a another dress. I'VE BEEN PUNKED? I have learned a lesson- read reviews first and ALWAYS order from a local/professional company who takes pride in their work. Obviously, JJshouse does NOT!

Never ever use this company. Their returns policy does not exist and the fit is extremely bad with the zips not even doing up and horrible scratchy lace.

I ordered a made to measure as I am a 14 up top and a size 8 waist. I am absolutely over the moon with my dress, it fits, the material is brilliant quality more than met my expectations, it took about two weeks from order to delivery, Recommend expedited service to UK, planning to order two more gowns for my Orient Express Journey. Thank you so much JJ for a fantastic dress.

I ordered a beautiful dress, in what I thought was a size that would fit me - it didn't. I had an extremely hard time even fitting it over me in fact.
When I tried to follow the steps to return it, they kept telling me I needed pictures of the issue. -How am I supposed to take a pic of myself attempting to fit into the dress - are you kidding?
They refused to accept my return because I ordered that size so tough crap for me I guess. Thanks JJ house for taking 3, almost 4 days to tell me to go screw myself even though your website absolutely leads you to think that you can return if it, YA know, doesn't fit.
I will never use your site again or recommend anyone order anything from you.
Your "policies" are ludicrous and not customer friendly whatsoever.

So after receiving the dress I had some issues with the dress, I contact customer services and after sending some pictures I had my case resolved. So I send the dress back and I'm just waiting for my refund.

DON'T DO IT!

The dress is fine, quality is okay, not fitted at all as expected and NOT the right color. I had to have blue for this wedding and the dress that was sent was teal green, not even close. I have to say I loved the wrap and the lines of the dress, but wrong color.
I'm fighting with returns now, I wish I'd found these reviews before I ordered.

I purchased a size 14 dress. It was too small so I ordered the same dress in size 16. After 5 days of numerous live chats and numerous "we will get back to you in within 24 hours" responses, I received the message that I can receive 10% or 20% back. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered this cape for 100 dollars and what they sent me looked like something you would pay two dollars for in a bargain bin for Halloween. Their returns process is a joke. It has been a month I have been waiting for a refund. And I started a case with pay-pal and even pay pal cannot help me.

I ordered a dress from fairyn.com and was very disapointed, years ago already. Now my sister ordered a dress from jjhouse. SAME $#*!. The dress was not as on the photo. Even material/colour not same. Cheap quality from China. Size too small!
I ordered a dress for 200 and received one worth 25. They do not even have the dresses on the photo, nor the right to use the photo. They send you a cheap copy of what they show you! This is fraud!

I ordered a custom MO Bride dress and flowers to decorate. I wrote to them several times about the wedding getting close I received my order the day before the wedding and the flowers were cheap, falling apart, dress too big could not have altered and they refuse the refund with the order being left at the wrong address, their fault after threatening with the American consulate and USA Attorney general they offered full refund but would not send refund slip and address for return. Don't trade with them it is fraudalent and it is out of US so no arguing with them. You order you get what happens to you.
