Ordered a standard size... even went UP one size based on reviews. The dress was way off on measurements for a 'standard' size--all you have to do is measure it yourself with a dress tape to see the discrepancies. Poor quality--very cheap construction. Site photos are very deceiving. Out over 200 bucks but that's what I get for ordering from this company. Lastly, their advertising says 'from the UK'. This crap is from CHINA. Buyer beware.

After reading the horrendous reviews, I was sure I was never getting this dress, I was going to have a headache returning it, or the quality would be bad. I was thrilled when it came earlier than expected, and it was beautiful. Because I was worried about doing business with JJs, I only ordered one dress. I would have ordered several. I will definitely be ordering again from them.

I am celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary and wanted a special occasion dress. Since I take a Size 16, finding a dress in the malls is almost impossible. Everything out there is for a 15 year old that takes a size 2. Thank goodness for JJ's House. I was able to find a beautiful dress at a great price. I was able to get my size in a dress that didn't look frumpy, but was age appropriate. I have purchased three dresses and several wraps/jackets from JJ's House, all of which I've ordered within the last six months. I would recommend this company to anyone who wanted reasonably priced dresses. The only drawback is that you do have to wait for your dress to be delivered, but it is not an unreasonable amount of time. My first order was delivered within two weeks, the other orders were delivered within a month. So, plan ahead and use this website for well-made, reasonably priced dresses.

I was very hesitant about ordering online, especially without the girls trying the dresses on.
I went for a bigger size in both as we don't get married for 6 months and would recommend measuring and sizing up if you are unsure.
The dresses arrived yersterday after just 2 days and are beautiful! They are so well made. They have 2 (maybe 3) layers of what I would call under skirt material and a petticoat type layer as well (I have shared a review on the dress I purchased as well)

I bought a dress for my daughter on Sept 13th. As I was checking out they asked about the event date, which I put I needed the dress for September 25th. I never read this dress was made to order since I never gave any measurements, only a standard size of US2. Nowhere in the website it specified that the dress was not going to be ready for the event because it would take 12-15 days to make and 5-8 days to ship. If they are asking the event date and this is sooner than the date they could deliver, why they don't tell you right there? Long story short, as I realized the dress was not going to be here on time, I send an email requesting an order cancellation and a full refund. To my surprise, they replied they would only refund 40% because the dress was made to order…. What? I never asked for a made to order dress and the website didn't say that. So beware…they make all dresses as they are ordered and whatever time it takes to make and ship is the time you will be waiting for your product. Refunds only 40% if you change your mind or need the dress before the time you receive it…. Which is uncertain. This is a total scam.

I was very pleased with the quality and style of the dress HOWEVER they sent the wrong size despite Keith in Chat confirming the size 14 I was ordering was available. I did not receive an email confirming my order and was also charged Duty which Keith advised rarely happened, but if it did I would get it refunded. The Return website is difficult to find and the process certainly not worry-free. I have not had a response to the emails I have sent to Returns. I would still like to have the dress in size 14 and get the Duty back. I would like to know how we resolve this situation.

Told me it'd be $8 to return, but charged me $25 and refused to honor it. I spent $119 and only got $85 returned. Also, they sew bra cups into their garments not taking into account that all body types are different. I had 4 breasts in that dress. Also, the hem for the lining was straight, the top layer was handkerchief chiffon, creating an ugly silhouette.

Waiting on my product not sure if the sight is legitimate hope I get my dress in time when I do I will never use their site again

This is the second dress I've purchased from this company and I love them both the second one was for my daughters wedding and I needed a mother of the bride dress and the dress was of great quality, great fit, and fast shipping! I highly recommend this company for any formal dresses at a reasonable price

I ordered a dress 9/3/21 for a homecoming dance that's date was changed to 9/18/21. I ordered this dress because the "sale" stated that the dress would be shipped in three days. Come to find out the dress will not be shipped in three days, but will take 12-15 days to make and it will be mailed out on 9/18/21 which will be pointless because then we have to add ship time. So I will probably not see said dress for an entire week, making the dress pointless because homecoming will have passed. This is a ridiculous practice, do not say dresses will ship in 3 days blatantly online when in actuality the dresses all are made to order. No one is able to expedite the sewing to assist me. I will never order another dress from them again, they will never see another dollar from me. Buyer beware. Very shady company with poor communication skills. All of the apologies are the same in every review. I think they just copy and paste. Shop out of a reputable store or reliable online store, don't waste your time, money, or stress level on this online store.
