My dress just arrived today, and its a wonderful dress! Thank you JJshouse for a wonderful job. I love the design, great quality and a quick delivery. Dont hesitate shopping here.
For people who gets to pay the custom when the dress arrive, its pretty normal in Europe, the price vary depending on the delivery company, but it is stilla pretty great deal than getting a dress in local shops in Madrid. I recommend JJshouse because its the only place I found on the net with such a good quality dresses and good service

I ordered a dress and saw on my invoice how much the dress and shipping was. I in a few days received my dress and my invoice was the dress of a higher price and shipping was more. I contacted customer service and they assured me that it should be what's on the order on internet. I did not think to check my credit card company because I have never had problems with other purchases. I went and checked finally and to my surprise it was even more than the invoice was. I was upset and boggled how could they do such a thing and not even let the customer know what the charges were that would be charged on my card. I am very upset and something will be done. I am basically buying two dresses for what. I want a resolve asap. I have sent a email in and funny how I have not got a response back yet. Wow you do bad to people and trust me it will come back.

I should have known. I should have read the reviews here. I ordered a burgundy dress, and what they call "burgundy" matches another blouse I have whose color is named Lipstick Red. You might call it Revolution Red. Or Corvette Red. But certainly not the color of wine. I went through the process to get a refund and, just like people report here, communication just stops. This is the kind of company which gives Chinese companies a bad name. It's a ripoff.

UPDATE 2/8/2014:
I will have to reassess my opinion of JJs House now. Adam contacted me and offered either I could keep the dress and they would refund 40% of the cost, or if I shipped it back, they would give me 100% refund when they got it. I chose the latter option.

I had just gotten back from the post office when I received a phone call from Adam saying that if I could email them a scan of the customs form number, they would issue the refund straight away. Also, that if I could scan the shipping receipt, he might be able to get the return shipping costs refunded as well. This afternoon (the next day!), I found that the cost of the dress has already been refunded to my paypal acct! I am very impressed! The shipping cost was not there, but hey, I didn't expect to ever hear from them so I am a pretty happy customer, even if the dress didn't work out.

So I will not give up on JJs house, and I would recommend to anyone if they are thinking of buying from them, to leave plenty of time in case there is a problem, and if possible, get a color swatch to save valuable time and headache.

He really did hop to fix the situation. Thank you, Adam!

I ordered this dress for a formal occasion, along with a black floor length dress, not impress and was totally disappointed especially after having to hand over an extra $57.00 bucks to my mail man just to received it and then to realized I had just divested more dollars for the shoddiest dress making I have ever seen. Mind you the website does warn you that they might be some slight color discoloration from actual product display, slight deviation is really an under statement,, not only was the color not at all close to the rich deep color that you see on the website but the stitching was just atrocious the train of the dress was as if someone used a jagged scissors to cut it. It was so uneven and the thread was already coming loose. I could not believed my eyes.

I contacted the customer service right away and was told that their would get back to me, as it was they spring festival holiday season, how convenient for them. I do not expect to received any satisfaction I came upon some reviews that I wish I had read after my purchase, I have to just chalk this up to a loss, I truly would like to urge buyers to beware of scammers because sadly that's what this is, who ships out such poor workmanship, surely there must be inspection protocols to follow. I will not waste another cent posting this dress back to Jjshouse I have given them enough.

If my reviews have been deleted I will make a video to put on ytube giving an accurate and honest review of the dresses I purchase, I will also and look for other non related forums to report my experience of shopping at this website. I hope that this review can help shoppers to make better and more inform decisions when spending hard earn dollars, and weigh they options carefully because when you think your getting a deal sadly your not. I ended up having to rush out at the last minute to purchase a dress after spending well over $300.00 at this site

**Update to message below**

JJsHouse contacted me and, even though they did not have to, they refunded the money I paid for the duty fee. That was very considerate of them and due to this I may end up placing an order again in the future.

My concern, however, is that even though there is a disclaimer about extra fees depending on where a person is having the item shipped, it is not very apparent and I think it would be a good idea to make it noted on the payment page, as well as on the invoice as other companies do (even if it is an approximation). That way it won't be such a surprise to customers.

Other than that, great customer service, especially Adam who I dealt with.

I have ordered from other companies outside of Canada many many times, and any time I have to pay a duty charge it is indicated in writing on the website and on the invoice/receipt. This was not the case for JJs House.

In fact the tracking information never indicated there were fees either. I only found out about them when the item arrived at our house and I was not home to receive it. My husband was and he did not have the funds.

After getting over my anger, I paid the fee that evening and then sent a complaint to the shipping company stating they should be letting people know, if only by the tracking information. Now that I have read others comments it seems that the complaint should be directed to JJs instead.

I would love to know why these fees are not stated on the invoice/receipt and who even receives them?

I paid over $50.00 Canadian, and granted $16.00 was tax (understandable), but the rest were all fees, with $10.00 be a processing fee. Uh, processing what? Isn't the first fee of almost $25.00 the "processing fee". Unbelievable.

The low cost of the dresses is VERY misleading. Not a good way to keep customers. I had planned on buying my daughters high school grad dress from their site but now I have changed my mind. I will not recommend this site to anyone.

The dress was faboulus! It was a great fabric and a really good quality. I am really happy that i ordered the dress from jjshouse.com. The shipping was fast, it only took two days, and i live in Norway. I didntt think i could found cheap and pretty dress, but at jjshouse.com they had both. It was cheap and pretty. Plus it was good quality. Couldnt have been more happy!

Order was recieved in a timely matter and so far, I am pleased with all the items. I still have to get my daughters to try their items on for size, but I like the non-size items (fascinators) and think the quality of the bras and shapers looks very good. I will try to come and update further after I get the girls to try on the rest.

My sister ordered a jacket from JJs House on the 17th of January, the shipment arrived yesterday, via UPS and she was told she had to pay C. O. D. Charges. Her accounts shows shipping charges and the jacket were already paid. This company needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau and to the U.S. Government. This company is a scam. DON'T ORDER.

STAY AWAY FROM JJ's HOUSE. DONT EVER USE THEM. I ordered 8, I repeat 8 bridesmaid dresses form this site. I spent a large amount of money and when we received the dresses the color was completely incorrect for our wedding colors. I contacted jj's house over the phone within 3 days and received a message from a jj's house employee that cut off halfway. I continued to call for another week and finally utilized there website's live chat. They refused to exchange for a different color, even though I haven't opened one dress from it's packaging. What am I supposed to do with all these dresses? The customer service rep told me they "hand make" all the dresses to order. Hard to believe, since I received my order from ASIA in a week. WHAT COMPANY WONT EXCHANGE OR ALLOW YOU TO RETURN ITEMS? An awful, deceitful company.

Please, I warn you. Do not buy from JJsHouse. They do not accept returns and their product quality is very poor.
I ordered two bridesmaid dresses from them. I paid almost $35 in shipping. When the dresses came I was also told by UPS that I had to pay a $47.50 brokerage fee (something to do with customs and the package coming from China). I was shocked since I had already paid so much in shipping. So factor an additional, outrageous shipping/brokerage fee into your order and now the price of your dress or item goes significantly up.
When I opened the package I was very disappointed. The color was totally misrepresented. My lilac dresses were pink. The material was also of poor quality and the cut & tailoring very poor (for example, the "tea length" dress was basically to the floor and I'm 5'7"). My sister, the bride, was very disappointed with the dresses and we decided to return them.
EXCEPT JJSHOUSE DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. WHAT? Since this company is in China, they only offer "customer service" via email. Their first response to me asking to return the dresses was "We are afraid that return is unacceptable." I sent more emails to them and each time got excuses and my concerns about the dresses were brushed off completely. They even told me "We hope you could know that two dress makers have spent days and nights preparing the dresses for you, putting much time and energy on the dresses. With all the respect to their hard work, we sincerely hope you could kindly keep the dresses." Seriously? I don't care. I didn't order customized dresses, so these could go to anyone. I'm not happy with the product and thus, should be able to return it. I can't even imagine an American company being so deceitful with their return policy and then not accepting any returns. I would never deal with this company or another Chinese company directly again. By the way, their final solution was a 20% refund of the price I paid with me keeping the dresses. I didn't want that. I want a 100% refund and to return the dresses. There goes a couple hundred dollars down the drain as I'll be donating these dresses.
So again, I warn you do not buy from JJsHouse. Their product quality is poor and if you are unhappy for any reason, they will not let you return the item. Please, save yourself time, money, and a headache and go elsewhere.

I had a few problems with my order but the customer service at JJSHouse was UNBELIEVABLY good. The dress I ordered was stunning and although it needed very minor alteration (more for my preference/body type - as I didn't order 'custom made') - every single person I met wearing it complimented me. I ordered a wrap and dress and felt the wrap didn't match and had to pay customs duty on my order which is why I contacted them. The customer service at JJSHouse responded to my case immediately and went well beyond just being helpful - especially Adam and Henry. Without a shadow of a doubt I will order from them again - the dress quality was excellent and i do not believe you could buy something like that in a store. I am very very grateful to them for all their help and going beyond expectation.

My mom was so excited to get her mother on the brides dress it was all she has been talking about all week. When it arrived she had to pay an extra 39.99 upon delivery. She paid extra to have it made exactly to her measurements but the dress is way to big. She called me in tears saying it was the most horrible dress she had ever seen. We payed over all 190.00 and she can't afford another dress, so shes at a loss of what to do. The sewing is uneven and crooked. We are both so disappointed and wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. I almost got my wedding dress from this site and I am so glad I didn't.

Omg! Stay away please don't make the same mistake that I did. I ordered my wedding veil and it was the wrong one the material is super cheap and the beads fall off easily very disappointed. They are sending these from china so you can't contact customer service only by email and their rep told me we are sorry about that we will give you 40 % off you next purchase as in buy another veil and if I wanted to send back the wrong veil to china that I was responsible for the shipping. I just called my bank to dispute the charge. Website looks great but it's all fake ** the good reviews you see they aren't real these people just want to steal your money *** I can't believe I'm going through this before my wedding horrible experience.

UPDATE: please note that I complained about the quality of my dress and I relieved the most professional service from Adam and the team in returning it. They refunded the duty tax I paid, which they didn't have too and have processed my refund.

Adam was with me through every step of the way and even with the time difference made it easy for me. Please, if you are unhappy with your dress or any item you've ordered please talk to them before giving them a bad review as I've learnt that communicating with the website proved to be easier then getting upset and angry.

I received what I thought was going to be my dream dress and was very disappointed to find that the stitching in the dress was coming lose, the hemming and lace frayed and extra bits of material, which if important or not, is well noticeable. Am trying to get a refund and will seek legal action under the goods and services act
