Ixl is the aboloute worst i am convinced that ixl is run by the ccp and neo nazis and the vatican whoever made ixl is more stupid than adolf hitler makes me want to shoot up an airport (exaggerating) ixl has killed my brother he commited suiside because of ixl after he got to 90 on his smart score and got one wrong and went back down to 70 after that i saw him looing depressed and he went down to the basement and put the.90 in his mouth and pulled the trigger. I am crying while I am writing this review.

The smart score is tarrible it brings you up by 3 atmost and dropes you by 7 at least it also destorys my selfesteem I can' even get through my homework without braking down in tears.

This app is downright horrible. Please do not waste your money on this, it turns your day upside down, and leads to intimate depression. Instead of making me like a specific subject, it makes me hate the subject, even more, there are other websites out there that deserve to be used, unlike this one.The examples don't even make any sense. Yeah, it helps me with what they show me, but when it's a problem, that the example doesn't show, how am I supposed to know the answer! It is very frustrating and is a app from hell.

All of the questions are repetitive. There is a point system IXL uses that is called SmartScore. When you get a question correct, your SmartScore goes up by a number determined by how many questions you have answered. Ex: I have done 1 question so the score will go up by 9. I have done 4 question so the score will go up by 5. When you get a question wrong, the score goes down by A LOT. If you went up by 3, you will go DOWN by SIXTEEN. All of my friends hate it and get extremely stressed by it. DO NOT RECOMEND

Ixl is the worst website I ever have done. I would rather be on any other website than ixl. But my stupid teacher gives me 3 so I got to 80 on one stopped, and the second one is basically the same one. Ixl, I hope you die out. I hope a hacker puts inappropriate content so It gets banned on my school Chromebook.

Just don't even waste your time on IXL. You learn nothing and I have wasted 81 hours of my life because of it. It is 75$ per student( and that is to be payed yearly) So in a school with 350 kids, that is 26,250 dollars per year. That money could go into things that could actually HELP kids, not make them feel stupid and angers because of the unfair IXL grading system.

It is terrible it is in accurate most people hate I don't recommend it and no one should please don't download

This app gives some kids anxiety and/or depression.Me,a person who does use it has a lot of challenges with it.When you get one write you get about 1 or 2 points but when you get one wrong you get 7 points taken.This app should have never been a thing.

IXL when you get it right in the 80+ "smartscore" you only get 2 points! Per question correct. When you get it wrong it bumps you down 10 points! And has false info. Counts it incorrect even though it is correct

IXL literally made me shed tears. I've been doing this Math work for over 3 hours and I keep getting the last question wrong. These questions are not made for kids. This is the cause of mental health problems. IXL is haunting kid's lives. You even killed student's will to be successful. Like literally 13 million kids are suffering right now. Please I DO NOT RECCOMEND IXL.

Hello. I am a fifth-graders mom. Anyways, I think IXL is an average learning website to use but it has many downsides. I might've said that IXL was a great website to use, but it actually is getting worse and worse. However, since IXL is semi-decent, I have to give them credit for not making kids cringe. My son actually liked this website and he usually doesn't refuse to use this website but after some time, he started to smash his computer. It is also very easy to use. It contains quite a good amount of skills to learn, unlike Zearn with only one skill, math. Unfortunately, it is very expensive to get unless the district has it for free. (I think) The main problem I am having with this website is that it has a very unfair and questionable diagnostic and "Smartscore" system. It literally took him 2 questions while at 85+ "Smartscore" due to the fact that he loses like 15 - 25 "Smartscore" just from getting one question wrong. My son is very smart so he can get to 1,000 stars in vocabulary and writing strategies in fifth grade. Even though he has lots of stars, he lost 100 stars just because he couldn't log into his account. He has recently reclaimed his title, but he will never use IXL again unless he loses his stars. All in all, I think this website has some potential for being good, but at the same time, not really.

I do not recommend this because you can't get to a 50% on certain subjects and math its just a monster I hate it and its coming from a 6th grade student.

I have ended falling under immense stress and ended up failing a quarter 3 of my algebra 1 class because i couldnt get pass the 90 mark because i would get 99 out of 100 get 1 wrong them drop to 88 or sometimes 80 LIKE WHAT.IT sucks and im having to work my $#*! OFF and my teacher likes to be $#*! ABOUT IT AND I CANT STRESS ENOUGH IM TIRED OF IT MY CONFIDENCE IS LOW AND SEEM TO BRING MYSELF TO DO ANYTHING ANYMORE I DONT WANT TO DO IT I JUST WANT TO PASS MY ALGEBRA 1 CLASS but i barely hanging on and my teacher just gives me 0s whenever i dont finish it even if i get 80 out of 100 or 90 out of 100.For all kids if your teachers uses this website dont be scared to switch out of that class or go to a different school if you were changing schools anyway.
