I used IJL many years ago and the improvements they made the process. I appreciate the addition of how the screening process has improved and can accept or decline an option. Being able to get that additional information is helpful compared to my prior experience being more of a blind date. Also accepting the date and synching with availability with my calendar. I like that they added a dedicated person to go through the process to help find the best possible matches.
I highly recommend this services and especially every one is very knowledgeable about your relationship and looking for your perfect date

So far its been a great experience. The process was in-depth and thorough in order to gather the information necessary to arrive at appropriate dates. IJL has delivered on what they said they were going to do. Jaiye and I have had several candid conversations and I believe he got me and listened to what I as looking for.

I was a little apprehensive in trying a MatchMaking service, but the onboarding process left me with a good feeling, I recently went on my first date with them and enjoyed the experience!

I had a wonderful experience with James, who I then signed up and was given Marina as my matchmaker. Although the right person hasn't shown up yet. I have to give kudos to Marina for being very responsive, as far as answering emails and phone calls. But most importantly, her compassion in the way that she explains what the process is, and the confidence that she instills in a love future for her clients, ME!

DON'T DO IT!
IJL is such a joke. The sales woman, Jen M., went on and on about the amazing matches she had for me, including - of course- ha - the well traveled handsome doctor she had just signed up that day that would be perfect.
Well, guess what I got? Don't even bother. The guys were so bad, especially the one who looked like my dad and was wearing gray sweats in his selfie. BTW, even though they are supposed to give you 2 pics for each match, they didn't have another of him…wonder why?
Their contract is so broad that you don't have much recourse, except for the fact that IJL is supposed to only give you Matches that meet your 3 parameters of age, religion and parental status. All 3 of mine did not meet those parameters.
Obviously that means THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE MAN THAT WAS ACTUALLY A MATCH FOR ME!
Also, FYI, you get NO information about the match (except he's a nice guy blah blah blah) so you are totally flying blind before your first date. At least with Match.com, you can learn a lot about the person so you can make your own judgement about compatibility etc.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I want to express that if you're considering giving them a chance, be cautious. I once did, and when I wanted to cancel due to issues with their matchmakers, they assured me they'd improve, particularly highlighting Tanya's good personality. However, the overall experience with Just Lunch hasn't been effective if you're serious about finding a match. They lack accurate information about potential matches, and sometimes your date may not even show up, leaving you waiting at the restaurant with no support available.

Very professional services. Jaiye and the IJL team undertook several interviews of me to better understand what kind of person I was looking for. The experience has been great so far. I've had a couple of wonderful dates and have enjoyed working with my matchmaker on honing in on what a great fit looks like. It's been a fun process and I'd recommend the service to those have busy schedules who are looking for serious partnerships.

I had my very first date setup by my matchmaker and it was the best blind date ever😍. There was no pressure, everything was completely setup from the time and place. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. We talked about everything from our upbringing, family, values, etc. Not saying we're feeling married tomorrow but definitely we're open to continue to feeding to know each other. And that's how adult dating should be

AT YOUR OWN RISK! (I'VE HAD THE WORST DATING EXPERIENCE WITH IJL, NO EXCEPTION TO THIS STATEMENT).
My name is Sophie, I would just like to say, that I am very, very disappointed with the service that I received throughout my membership since 2021, and feel it was the worst $3,000, I have ever spent! Diane signed me up, and made wonderful promises, that did not materialize.
I was promised to meet 12 men in 1-2 year, and only met 7 (both combined virtually and in person), and it took 3 years of dating to meet 7 men, unheard of! This was because, I was told later in my membership, not upfront; that if the men or I either cancelled or rescheduled a date, it was a lost cause and you would not get to meet anyone else in their place. They do not reschedule dates! You either go when scheduled, or you lose that date!
The matchmakers also kept changing on me and they were all non-responsive. I had to email them several times, and finally after a month, they would reply. I felt many promises were made but were not kept. I was also sent men that lived far away from me. The men I dated, also expressed how unhappy they were with the IJL dating service.
Anyway, I just want to say my peace and tell all potential clients, that IJL dating company is the worst dating company I have ever signed up with. I surely hope they change their ways and stop lying and manipulating their clients, like me and others, and do what they promised in the first place! The worst experience I ever had with a dating company!

To be fair, it took about a year for me to get the right matchmaker on IJL but once I connected with Jaiye, my experience changed from disappointing to delightful. Jaiye is interested in getting to know who I am so he could arrange proper matches for me - and he brought a lot of caring to his work. I have had about 8 dates in 2 years which was far less than I expected but the dates arranged by Jaiye were all worthwhile. No perfect match yet, but with Jaiye on the job, I expect the best is yet to come
