I have been a member with IJL for 11 month (since the end of November 2023). For the first 7 month I was very unsatisfied with the service I was getting, in other words I was not getting any service at all. In July 2024 I was contacted by agent Marina who was a matchmaker for the guy who was interested to meet with me. I really liked Ms. Marina's approach and professionalism in matchmaking and for the first time I experienced the best service in IJL and I requested Ms. Marina if she could be my matchmaker. I started getting more and more dates with great man in town since Ms. Marina took over my case. My rate for Ms. Marina is 5/5.
Rate for IJL is 3/5 for the bad experience (for no service) I had for 7 month.
I have been working with Tayna from It's Just Lunch for over a year, and my experience has been exceptional. From the very beginning, Tayna has been incredibly responsive to my calls and always takes the time to listen to my feedback. Her friendly and approachable nature makes our interactions comfortable and productive.
Tayna is proactive in arranging all the logistics of my dates, which has made the entire process seamless and stress-free. While I J L is not for everyone, I found that it is working for me. Though a bit expensive for a 12 to 18 month experience, the staff seems truly out there to help me find a perfect match. I have been assigned a life coach. EYRINA. She has to b the best there is. She has experience and it shows. She cares about me and she cares about the matches she makes for me. Tough position…. To worry about both people in the match. I am convinced after just one successful match that Eyrina will b successful in matching me when it is all said and done!

I am very early in the process and Jaiye has been helpful. I would like follow up communication on dates to happen closer to the proximity of the dates. I will be able to communicate more after a few more dates. All arrangements that Jaiye have made on my behalf have worked out well.

Could have a little more communication and checking in and following up on dates or matches in progress. Starting to feel like my must haves in a match are just now really being considered after a few dates.

I signed up with IJL about a year ago. Overall I am disappointed with my membership because I have not been able to find a potential partner. I signed up for the de luxe program and spend a lot of money. I have only been on 1 date and the few other times that I was interested in meeting someone the dates were cancelled last minute.
My matchmaker Amy was absolutely delightful. She really took the time to get to know me and I know that she did her best to find a good match for me.
The problem was however that there were no men in the network that I was even remotely interested in. That was the biggest disappointment for me in this whole experience.
I know though that Amy had my best interest at heart. I was extremely satisfied with her work.
Before joining It's Just Lunch, I had no problem getting in touch with someone - even on weekends - with any questions or concerns. Now that I'm a member, it's almost impossible to get a response from anybody. I've been on one date since I joined (two months ago). I can't get any feedback or new prospects - just no response. I'm feeling like I've been scammed.
