I changed from recieving products from Birchbox to recieving products from Ispy. Im getting the clam bag and been happy until 1 of the 5 products a moisturizer I received this month has effected my eye's so bad. The first time I used the moisturizer it hurt my eye's so bad I could barely open them all day, so I thought I got it in my eye's but the next day I used it I was very careful not to get in my eyes, but It did the same thing, im sitting here now barely able to write this cause today is my second day of using the moisturizer and ive washed my eyes out several times today and still having problems so im going to the eye dr tomorrow to make sure there is no damage. Ipsy not very kind or caring of their customers, I went to Chat with one of the reps bout my concern and if others have complained of this product but I was offered to join a chat room to talk to other customers for $5, wow! Slap my face. No more chat rooms for me, they could of act concern atleast.
Maybe I should go back back to Birchbox. Trust me Ispy doesn't care to loose a customer, im sure i will have a hard time canceling.
I cancelled Ipsy subscription 1 year ago. Suddenly a week ago I see 2 random charges of $94 on my account and it just said paypal. I went to look on Paypal and saw that it was coming from Ipsy! I found out there's no phone number to call Ipsy. I wrote an email to them and waited (24 hours!) for the response that just said they will forward my email to "billing email" as soon as I provide them with screenshots of my bank account saying that it's from ipsy... I provided them with pictures and did not receive a response, so I wrote 2 more emails asking why this money was taken out of my account and no one response AGAIN! A week later, Ipsy responds saying that they apologize for not responding right away and that they see that money was refunded (they are right, money was refunded at this point, but it took almost 2 weeks to refund). They never provided an explanation of why this money was taken out in the first place... and at this point I was done and did not want to respond anymore because I didn't want to wait for another week for a response... Beware of this company!
I'm old/new to ipsy witch means I use to have it long ago. Never had this many problems! A simple mistake tunes into K os. Since last 2 months all I wanted was to pause a bag of my 2. There's a plus and a regular 10 dollar one for ppl that don't kno. So I really wish they would get a real 1800 number to talk to a human bc emails are terrible! They canceled my order charged me 2 times and this month told me I can't pause bc of my cancel that "they" did. They charged me again and its not even my fault! Bottom line all I was trying to do in the month was pause one little bag 2 months ago. And now it 3 months later of crazy ness. And Emails I am going to cancel. And all I get are same samples and one that are bad colors, stuff for face I don't use. That's why I pause. Can't blame me for not wanting. Or if I don't use them! I don't want to waist the money;!
I subscribed to the normal glam bad subscription and I loved it WAY better than the Sephora bag. I had the Sephora bag for about a year and the stuff started to repeat itself. I had three shades of the same lipstick that I never used and the products just weren't pleasing me anymore. I switched to Ipsy and the glam bag is MUCH better. I'm not too much for veering away from what I like meaning I wear the same makeup pretty much everyday, but if I find something in the glam bad I like, I'll opt for the full sized product. If you like sampling different products at a low price every month, I suggest Ipsy for you. Now, why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Probably because some of the products can be found at cheap drug stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, etc. However, as long as no more than 1 of the products in the glam bag are cheap, I have no problem with that. The way I look at it, if I like the makeup enough and I'm willing to buy it (which I don't do often) why not go the cheap route if it makes it that much easier?
I just subscribed to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus in June 2019. I got my first month with no issues. This is my second month and my bag has been sitting in some town in my state since 7/11/19 (I'm writing the review on 7/19/19). I emailed Customer Service, the person copied/pasted an email written by somebody else with that person's name, saying to wait until 7/22 to contact them. I'm not optimistic about this whole situation. Also concerned about whether my add-ons are going to be included and whether the products will still be usable given that they are probably sitting in limbo in some over-heated warehouse somewhere that's probably over 100 degrees. I subscribe to 7 different subscription services and have NEVER experience this type of shipping issues. They also advertised a free HUDA Palette which they never sent. As much as I think their products are a great deal and better than Boxycharm, it's useless if I won't ever see my box. I think people should be more aware of Ipsy's shipping problems and that when you subscribe with them, you are gambling with whether you'll actually get your bag. I never thought this would be an issue with my account because I live in a major metropolitan area and it's already a problem in month 2. Also read comments from a lot of user Ipsy subscribers about how difficult it is to cancel and to stop the charges from happening. This subscription service has given me more headache than I could've possibly imagined. Hope I won't have to get my credit card company involved.
Missing a bag. I have emailed and no response week after week. I originally cancelled but I guess they choose who gets to cancel and money refunded.the samples are what you can get at any cosmetic store for free. I know the missing bag is only 10 bucks but it's the fact that they won't acknowledge my request for it.
I just received my 1st $25 ipsy box and it is ridiculous! Broken eyeshadow, clumped up mascara, crap I wd never in a million years put in my fine thin hair! I'm so mad, I cannot believe these ppl
What a hassle! Never again. I ordered an Ipsy bag for myself and my grand daughter. She has moved and I don't care for the products. But I can't seem to cancel. Even after I thought I cancelled I received an email that read accept a free bag or confirm your cancellation. But there was no link to cancel. So I replied that for God's sake cancel me already! We will see. I stopped payment thru Paypal but they are linked for one of the accounts to my bank. Oye, what a pain in the neck.
I received an email from Ipsy sayin I will get free Huda palette if I sign up. I love, love Huda makeup so I signed up just to get it. Confirmation email even said I will received the item together with my glam bag. Too good to be true. It turns out there were only very (very, very, very) limited quantity and I did not get one. The glam bag contents are not the items I want and the makeup are all made in China. I UNSUBSCRIBED immediately. Never again!
i subscibe coz im interested to the product and offer me with the free gift on my email..i pay for my first month and expecting my free and glam bag..glam bag arrived but non of the free gift..contact them it saying that i cant recieved the free gift coz i paused may subscription..i dont like the item for the nxt month that why i paused it and now ending for unsubcibe,,i'd rather go to ulta than to pay monthly for the sample that idk like..even the syle of the bag not makes me interested for it..just wasting my money though!!
Took my money for June and still no bag or update on shipping. Customer service is a joke. I have canceled and will. Contact my bank for reimbursement from this horrible company. Steer clear cause it will eventually happen cause I am a long time member so
They charge you the first day of the month and dont deliver until the last day. But cancelling the subscription is next to impossible! They publish a telephone number which has a 1 second recording saying: "the number is currently not in service, please try again later"! If that makes any sense. SCAM! Talk to your bank and explain to cancell the debit to your accoutn on behalf of this company.
Ipsy, use to be amazing. I subscribed for 3 years! This year the changed who they partner for shipping. Since changing to DHL, they have lost two of my glam bags and I'm lucky if I get my package by the end of the month.
Ipsy use to allow you to pick one item in your glam bag. Not anymore! Your stuck with what they choose for you based on your profile- which- they completely ignore.
I wouldn't recommend Ipsy. Not after the changes. They use to be amazing.
So I signed up for Ipsy, and AFTER I put in my payment information it tells me I will be on a waitlist until a spot opens up. Okay, fine. But it also tells me I can skip the waitlist by sharing Ipsy on Facebook and messenger. So you're tell me that you are going to magically create a spot for me if I share, but if I don't, there is no spot...? AND you're telling me you have too many subscribers to keep up with as it is but you want me to promote your business to others? Yeah, I will be canceling.
Not only are the products not worth what i am paying... not even close! I could have bought this junk at the dollar store. AND they have processed 2 payments this month. EVEN THOUGH I CANCELLED!
Did not get my last bags in the mail and I've tried to contact support. They will not refund me and will only replace a bag before 45 days. Ali, is terrible and very dismissive. I requested a Supervisor and nothing... dead space. This happens every time and why it has taken me so long to speak with someone about this issue. They never escalate it. I simply needed a refund but now I will cancel my membership.
When I received my first Glam Bag Plus, I received eye shadow and lip lines which are both marked as receive rarely on my profile. I do not wear eye shadow or lip liner so it felt like a total waste of money. I contacted customer service and they were helpful. She said she will mark my profile to never receive eye shadow or lip liners. The very next box I received had not only eye shadow but eye shadow brushes. Once again 2 product I will never use. I contacted customer service and they offered me a free full size product in my next bag. If my next box comes with eye shadow, I'm going to cancel my subscription because I'm not paying $25 a month to get products that are of no use to me. Horrible experience so far
I've only had Ipsy for about three months, and have been overall disappointed in the quality of both the bag and cosmetic products. If you have Ipsy, you might recall taking the "Beauty Quiz" in which they make you select brand and cosmetic preferences to "customize" your bag. I haven't been receiving products I can actually put to good use. All I get are very cheap and flimsy chapsticks and cheap makeup brand items in each box. Occasionally they'll throw in a makeup brush, but that's only happened once. I know it would be too high of an expectation to expect getting every brand and item you want in a glam bag, but I haven't received ANY of the brands or cosmetic items I selected on the quiz which I find very frustrating. Besides that the bags are terrible. The bag is flimsy and the zippers always seem to fall apart. The whole bag all together isn't even worth ten dollars for the quality I'm getting out of it. I will give June a try, but if I'm not satisfied with that I will surely cancel my subscription.
Ipsy allows its members to add extra things to their bags (which in my experience adds two weeks shipping time to your bag). You pay for these add-ons at a discounted rate. When I FINALLY received my Ipsy bag, I did not receive the add-on I had specifically selected and waited for. I contacted Ipsy only to be told they had run out. They failed to alert me in the weeks my bag was late as they were scrambling to cover their oversight and couldn't bother to tell their customer who keeps them I business that the item they were anticipating wasn't even going to be shipping to them. Ipsy is a joke.

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
